Galaxy S4 GT I9505 Modem Firmware - Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi All,
I am in a spot of bother. I am using a Galaxy S4 I9505 purchased from Scotland/United Kingdom (probably refurbished) in India. I have put latest Lineageos 14.1 (Android 7.1.2) on it, but phone's data connection has been giving me trouble ever since I started using it (when I flashed the default Samsung ROM with CM 11). Same goes for wifi connection. I would need to reset both mobile data & wifi connections on/off frequently to make them work. I installed some wifi analyser app, which kept on reporting dropping of wifi connection every now and then.
I managed to learn from the internet that I may need to upgrade the modem firmware of my phone to resolve the issue. Problem is, all the necessary information like country of origin, Product Code, CSC Code, Firmware CSC Code, CSC Country, PDA Version, CSC Version from Phone Info app are empty. How would I know which firmware version to flash ?
Baseband Version as of now is I9505XXUDMGG.
Please help. Thanks in advance.

[SHV-E250L] Can't connect or register to network

Hi everybody,
For a while I was using the SHV-E250L under custom firmware without problem.
Now, I moved to China and I must use my mobile with stock firmware (company policy). However, since I came changed to stock firmware / unroot, the connection to the network is random:
-Somtimes working well
-But most of time i got the messages "impossible to register to the network" or "registration unauthorized"... asking me to call a customer service in Korea. It's like the mobile is using roaming, just because the phone is Korean (but I'm in China with China SIM !)
I don't know if some users of this variant already faced these issues.
I was thinking, if I change the CSC number to China, and reset the firmware via Kies it would be better, but I'm not sure that it's possible.
If anyboby have any idea.
thank you by advance.

[Q] wifi not working i337ucufnc1

Hi Guys,
I purchased a Samsung s4 i337ucufnc1 in usa. Have the phone unlocked and am now in South Africa. I have tried to root it and think it is but the wifi is not working. Initially the data was not working and wifi was but after I believe rooting and countless factory resets. It has switched the other way data works and wifi says a security setting will not allow updates, the operating software is the 4.3 version.
I have not found many codes for the samsung s4 i337ucufnc1
how do i get the wifi to work again. Please
Dial *#1234# and attach what appears.

Try to reflash stock rom with odin. Maybe the modem files got corrupted.
Ok just released the phone is not rooted, will this process still work?

Do different official I9505 firmwares have different modems?

I am currently studying in China and a friend of mine from France came back after the last holiday with a GS4 I9505 from home. Apparently she was having trouble getting it to work on Chinese networks, so she took it into some place to have them fix it. Apparently they rooted it, changed the ROM and did who knows what else. After that, she said the phone not only wouldn't connect, but it was also very unstable, crashing constantly. I told her I have a GS4 (I have the I9505G) and could help her restore her phone. She wanted the regular stock Samsung software, no root or anything. So I used Sammobile.com to download a French (NRJ) version of the 5.0.1 firmware and flashed it to the phone. It appeared to work well, but when I put my China Unicom SIM in it, it would only connect to 2G. On my I9505G with stock 5.0, 3G connects without any problems. According to the Wikipedia GS4 page, the 3G frequencies used by the China Unicom variant are also used by the I9505 and I9505G. So when using the same SIM, I assume they should both have access to 3G. Would the French firmware be interfering with this? Do different firmwares have different modems that would be affecting this?
At the very least, I was able to restore the phone and get it to connect to 2G, but if I can completely fix the phone for her, I think that would be preferable. Any advice or shared knowledge about this issue is much appreciated.
i have S4 three UK version and i downloaded uk lollipop with different csc and pda and modem, but still it works like a charm

Galaxy s7 edge weird issue?

Hy all! This is my first thread.
And so sorry for my english.
So I bought a galaxy s7 edge (g935f) from the internet and it has a lot of weird issue...first this phone is a single sim t-mobile (hungary) version, but the software says this is a dual SIM version (935FD) I flashed a full-wipe 4 file from with Odin but after that the problem is still there. If I go to the ONE I menu the first imei is the phone's own imei, but the second imei is just a lot of zeros.
My second problem is that the wireless connections doesn't works.
The Bluetooth can't find any BT devices and the Wi-Fi is recognize only the 5ghz networks.(2.4ghz networks are invisible)
Is it possible to get this phone back to normal?
Is it should work if I try to reinstall the phone with smart switch? That app is download firmware that is match with the phone original carriers Rom.
Thanks in advance.
If the phone is the dual sim one (SM-G935FD) flashing the BTU ROM from SM-G935F (single SIM model) or the INU ROM from the SM-G935FD, it'll detect the second SIM slot that also works as microSD card.
By detecting it, it seems you have an G935FD...
try flashing one of those ROM's I have mentioned above with ODIN and do full wipe of the phone.
That will probably solve everything

Where did you get your phone from? Better return it...
