LG G2 Weather Widget - Fixed 5X2 - Version 2

1) Sorry for creating another thread. I wanted to avoid confusion. So a thread is always better for a single new app.
2) This was ported on request. I absolutely hate widgets lol ! They consume a lot of RAM .
Version 1 Features
1) Fixed 5X2 layout.
2) Everything else.
Version 2 Features
1) No need to update - already Updated.
2) Themes work fine like G flex theme.
Bugs
The height has to be a fixed a bit, not in this app but on my ported launcher.

How did you get yours to work? I'm on stock 4.4.2 running the LG launcher but the widget won't load. Says download through app manager?

I installed version two and it just worked... Version one didn't work.

Both links will give you a file named v1, use the download link that says v2 and flash that one.

Does it work only with LG launcher?

This is a baked ROM, stock deodexed, based on Latest firmware with February Security Patch. to make cuatom rom i will need your boot.img from any nandroid backup, any small ip file which you flaahed successfulley from recovery, your system.tar which you will extract from terminal emulator on android and time for me to mod it.
i will try to port cm 12 to your device and send back you the hybrid rom. in a month or so

its very nice device. Need custom rom with jellybean camera and music player. since lollipop camera is poor than jellybean apk. please try to port jellybean camera and tweek the image quality. Note :samsung lollipop dont include its awesome music player and its jellybean version camera . hence pixel get scattered when zoomed view images.

How to TWEEK SaMSUNG Galaxy J7 camera and Image quality !!
Samsung Galaxy J7 have 13 Mp back AND 5 mp camera front. yet the pixel get scattered. (Good QUALITY (NOT BEST) with flash and Really poor without using flash). I have compared it with Samsung duos i9082. SAMSUNG DUOS i9082 is just 8 mp and front 2 mp, but the camera quality is 100 times better in pixel non breaking. (Howmuch ever we zoom, we get sharp edges OF images). Please someone try to tweek modded camera setting to get quality pictures without pixelating !! Also i noticed that the lollipop camera dont autofoucus much as in jellybean or kitkat version camera apk.
Also the selfie front camera look like painted images !! No sharp real face it shows !!
Whatever, samsung native Camera.apk and Music player .apk was best, now samsung have not included in its lollipop version. (only google music PLAYER included).
I tried porting camera to my J7 and it results GOOD quality , but after i restart,it stopped working (Since i am not an android kings as You developers :victory.
Wish someone mod it with custom roms !!

What do u mean ? Custom roms are like cyanogenmod,paranoid...etc

No i mean which version of amdroid you will like the look of.
Which specific apps you feel should be in the rom.
What are the performance leak in your rom to be fixed.

Galaxy J7 Custom Rom Need to include the following
Hi, if u can include the following , then will be thankfull
1.Need the camera mod to be tweek and jpeg quality to maximum 100. (Also samsung jelly bean version camera)
2.Some user feel volume low, so can be modded .
3.Music player (Default samsung jellybean and kitkat version is good ) and remove the google player.
4.Use of 8 CPU . (Often 4 cpu out of 8 are offline)
5.Good theme and color. :laugh:
6.if possible, included Xposed Installer.(Hope already xposed is released unofficially for lollipop Samsung arm) :fingers-crossed:
7.Remove blotwares.
8.maximise the ram speed.
9.wanam xposed.
10.remove network name from status notification bar.
11.include busybox .
12.Can able to adjust contrast color . (ha ha very colorfull display in lollipop verison)

The 4th thing is good for battery
And good theme and look rans to have a great custom launcher and its theme.

I mean the display is much colorful . red and green are higher in this mobile. May be you can add some apk to adjust the color.
For example, if you take any picture, the red and green color are more dominating and look unpleasant for eyes.
also do cm12 have support for dusl sim & no problem with wifi ? if yes, will be a nice rom. Thank you so much !! :laugh:

If possible try to port S6 Rom which might give J7 some new features. Or atleast try to port S6 camera as the camera is really poor.
Custom roms like AICP, AOSP, CARBON would be great. Need a start from developer..

Yes, this ROM is the daily driver for my 'Kate' , since Anderson released it. I only missed MIUI's call recording feature, but skvalex' app helps out. No full crash so far, fingerprint working.

I'm using this rom on my kate and it's very fast and stable. (not tested in dual sim yet).
But I had a problem. Bank app doesn't start in rooted device.
I try to disable root from "developer option" root checker app say that my device is not rooted. Solid explorer let me to navigate in root folders, but doesn't have permissions to delete or move files and folders. But bank app detect device as rooted.
I also crypted phone, but no luck.
Any suggestion?

why i am getting security force close on this rom ?
okay so i flashed this rom + pico gapps but then whenever i try to open SETTING > SECURITY it gives force stop .
and can anbody confirm whether fingerprint is working or not in this rom ?

If you want use bank app or "non-rooted required app"
Install Xposed installer and xposed firmware
than install xposed module called "root cloack"
just add your bank app in root cloack app..

Where can i found fingerprint please ?? Tnx.

Yes file size is same 1.5 gb.
VoLTE option is available in this ROM.
Network issue here. Trying to upload on another server.

no google play service is preinstalled and are not usable when flashed externally. it keeps crashing and I cant log in. and this junky preinstalled keyboard is pain in ***. I Almost cried writing this.
and some chinese pre installed app of no use.(though i can bear them)

- OPEN builtin CHINEES app store.
- Search for GOOGLE PLAY STORE
- Install it
- It will not crash or give any issue.
And for Keyboard use GOOLE KEYBOARD(G BOARD)
For chinees app: As its ROOTED just use RU UNINSTALLER pro to remove any app.

I turned off super su. And disabled chinese app. I've installed play store but it's crashing. Installed gboard now, thanks. But play service is still not working.

as i told (and did my self ) install GOOGLE PLAY SERVICES from chines APP STORE. it will work perfectly.

Okay!! Got it now. Thanks a lot.

Installed without any issues. A lot of chinese apps. Play store, play services not showing up in app store. Volte working.

Installed via twrp on my helium
Work very well, but its based on nougat not Oreo,

no need to use installer, just search mi app store "google" there you will find google installer without any sideloading and legit!

Thanks for trying. Did you do clean flash ? Including wiping the system partition ? Sorry for so many questions, this is my first time flashing a MIUI rom via Twrp

Portrait mode 3/32
Does the Portrait mode for Camera works already ? I dont have it the old Camera from MIUI 9 is still the camera in this version but I suppose this should be different.

yes i did clean install, i recommend clean install, after that magisk.

use magisk camera2api module and use modded gcam.

which gcam ver working with both front n rear potrait mode .

OTA
I see that AI camera is still not supported in this version. Anyways can we recieve OTA updates via the Updater app when new version arrives ?

Installed via twrp.
First boot settings in chinese, I dont even remember, how I managed to switch to English.
Nice new animations, lots of Mi stuff - all in chinese.
New options like AI and Car mode also in chinese.
Lost twrp and root, had to flash twrp via fastboot again, then Magisk.
Android Nougat 7.0
No Google stuff, have to install google from mi store and so on.
Camera doesnt have portrait mode
Tried to uninstall chinese cr.., restarted and ended in bootloop.
If you have lot of time and good nerves, go for it.

i dont think that is possible, the updater checks for update according to your mi account, if you had not applied for alpha rom tester you cant receive ota even on alpha rom

How do you install this?
I wiped: System, Data, Cache and Dalvik
Flashed
Now at boot I only see MI logo, and it's not loading android.
Downloaded 6.5.2 version for my prime.
