This is a baked ROM, stock deodexed, based on Latest firmware with February Security Patch. Pavan has used set metadata method to build the rom, so that if anyone wants to use this as base rom, it'll be easy.If u people get CB messages, go to messaging app, settings, more settings, turn off Cell broadcast. Speaker volume mod has been already applied (mixer paths)
and yes u can dirty flash over any other deodexed rom.

to make cuatom rom i will need your boot.img from any nandroid backup, any small ip file which you flaahed successfulley from recovery, your system.tar which you will extract from terminal emulator on android and time for me to mod it.
i will try to port cm 12 to your device and send back you the hybrid rom. in a month or so

its very nice device. Need custom rom with jellybean camera and music player. since lollipop camera is poor than jellybean apk. please try to port jellybean camera and tweek the image quality. Note :samsung lollipop dont include its awesome music player and its jellybean version camera . hence pixel get scattered when zoomed view images.

How to TWEEK SaMSUNG Galaxy J7 camera and Image quality !!
Samsung Galaxy J7 have 13 Mp back AND 5 mp camera front. yet the pixel get scattered. (Good QUALITY (NOT BEST) with flash and Really poor without using flash). I have compared it with Samsung duos i9082. SAMSUNG DUOS i9082 is just 8 mp and front 2 mp, but the camera quality is 100 times better in pixel non breaking. (Howmuch ever we zoom, we get sharp edges OF images). Please someone try to tweek modded camera setting to get quality pictures without pixelating !! Also i noticed that the lollipop camera dont autofoucus much as in jellybean or kitkat version camera apk.
Also the selfie front camera look like painted images !! No sharp real face it shows !!
Whatever, samsung native Camera.apk and Music player .apk was best, now samsung have not included in its lollipop version. (only google music PLAYER included).
I tried porting camera to my J7 and it results GOOD quality , but after i restart,it stopped working (Since i am not an android kings as You developers :victory.
Wish someone mod it with custom roms !!

What do u mean ? Custom roms are like cyanogenmod,paranoid...etc
No i mean which version of amdroid you will like the look of.
Which specific apps you feel should be in the rom.
What are the performance leak in your rom to be fixed.

Hi, if u can include the following , then will be thankfull
1.Need the camera mod to be tweek and jpeg quality to maximum 100. (Also samsung jelly bean version camera)
2.Some user feel volume low, so can be modded .
3.Music player (Default samsung jellybean and kitkat version is good ) and remove the google player.
4.Use of 8 CPU . (Often 4 cpu out of 8 are offline)
5.Good theme and color. :laugh:
6.if possible, included Xposed Installer.(Hope already xposed is released unofficially for lollipop Samsung arm) :fingers-crossed:
7.Remove blotwares.
8.maximise the ram speed.
9.wanam xposed.
10.remove network name from status notification bar.
11.include busybox .

I mean the display is much colorful . red and green are higher in this mobile. May be you can add some apk to adjust the color.
For example, if you take any picture, the red and green color are more dominating and look unpleasant for eyes.
also do cm12 have support for dusl sim & no problem with wifi ? if yes, will be a nice rom. Thank you so much !! :laugh:

If possible try to port S6 Rom which might give J7 some new features. Or atleast try to port S6 camera as the camera is really poor.
Custom roms like AICP, AOSP, CARBON would be great. Need a start from developer..

First i must say big thanks to Maxicet for your work on this rom. It works pretty much flawless on my Tmobile Note 3 in Sweden. Been testing for a couple of hours and every function works......LTE , multiwindow and even foto in S Note Very speedy ! Only FC i got is in Location but the function still works.
I wanted a Note 4 but now i dont know thank you!

Have you try wifi direct and Action memo. Already try 3 ROMs.. g00h v10, Rebirth 1.8 and Norma beta 4. All wifi direct and action memo not working.

Action memo is working on goohs rom but you cant change keyboards default language or it will stop working.

The rom boot up but rebooted just as it was about to enter the system. I think it might be the kernel. I dont want to do a dirty flash. In the aroma i chosed upgrade was tha correct? Any ideas?

Action memo works fine from Air Command but Wifi Direct got for closed. Thats on stock Sprint 4.4.4 NH7 kernel.

Dont wipe the internal storage. Do the other wipes then flash rom so Aroma stars and select upgrade rom. The rom comes with Lean Kernel v4 and that works for me but gets a little hot when on screen for some time. I tried this stock sprint 4.4.4 kernel instead from allenjthomsen and it works. Well you just have to follow the basics.
Reboot phone to Recovery Mode
Wipe Factory settings
Wipe Data Cache
Wipe Dalvik Cache
Then install the zip.
It should be fine after doing that. Let us know.

I have temporarily removed multi variant support.
I'm working on adding w8 to the support list.

BNL 9 should not be an issue but updating the bootloader with newer releases is always a good practice, and if the bootloader will add any restrictions I will say so

sound boost is really nothing, there is no quality loss, I have only included the lite version, see the sound boost thread but I will remove it in the next version so that whoever want can flash that separately.

Actually i would like to explain you what happened me when i installed your rom name : [ROM][SM-G900F/K/L/S/W8/I/T/] JoelDroid S5 [V 2.0 XXU1BOA3][Updated 17 Jan 2015] on W8 Variant Samsung GS 5. Now i could see as of today you changed the name for support only to F variant and updated to 2.0.1 from 2.0.
I installed through TWRP recovery and right after installing the ROM failed to boot stuck on main Samsung logo. Apparently i figured boot loader problem but unfortunately i could not find any boot loader modem for w8 on web which made me very sad. Then came to my mind and i flashed Ktoneez Kernel for Andriod 5.0 right after flashing rom and it really worked and ROM booted and brought me to Welcome screen in just 60 seconds...which was very fast as compared to other Roms with lollipop i have tried. But still having to correct Modem in ROM i was unable to get network and it was switching from signal to No signal.
It worked all fine except this problem, I was very very sad with this. I made ROM to boot anyhow successfully but signal problem so i reverted back to 4.4.2
TWO THINGS
1. Can you help mw with correct modem for W8 ?
2. Can we stick to basic stock kernel android 5.0 instead of using Ktoneez Kernel? Get the right Boot-loader for W8?
Please advice and do send me info regarding test and lets get started.

I am on JoelDroid 2.0.1 on a G900F (BOA3) but I use logcat for app developing in Android Studio. How do I re-enable it?
I have tried editing the build.prop file and rebuilding the rom in android kitchen 0.224 but I can't flash the new rom.

Easy you have a root browser I suppose.
Goto system/etc/init.d/and delete 98logcat file and reboot. logcat is back

I was browsing trough the volume booster thread, and saw that someone asked if they could just go to mixer paths and lower the volume limit, because the soft booster increases only by 4 digits. So I went to mixer paths and from 87, I cut it down to 83.
Can I still flash the original file, just to be sure that everything's back to stock?
Question. If I go from wifi zone to no wifi zone my data won't connect. I have to turn off data and back on. Have it on all lollipop roms.
Somebody else this issue?

There are a lot of place holders for things that one work
(IE gestures that aren't Double tap 2 wake, theres an O click option which i've never seen)
theres an additional buttons option too that doesn't do anything
root is built in developer settings
Screen is calibrated a little more pink than AOSP
Permissions seem to be fixed
-Google play services isn't crashing
-contacts and calendar sync without issue

First impression
Hello guys, I installed the rom tonight (clean). No "pinkish look" for me.
I tested it now abut two hours and I´m surprised how stable the rom actually is!
No reboot, no troubles at all.
Installed all the apps I need, and again no problems. Perfect WiFi, best data connecion and extrem fluid.
If we would get a few features more... would say perfect. M deepest respect to the developers and for this early and quick build :fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:

My overall white parts of the letters or photos had a pinkish tint... I wonder of it was because I flashed a custom kernel or used a profile from it???

Hohoho, don't flash a custom kernel at this time. I think it is to soon. In those early state of developement we should use the stock kernel. How I sayd, no such issues after a clean flash.

I too am experiencing the pinkish hue. Also, when I try to activate Now on Tap the system UI crashes. Otherwise, the ROM is very smooth so far. Very impressed with this early build.

i had the pink tint on stock so no it's the color calibration vs a kernel thing
Been using this build for a few hours. Love how smooth it is and I have experienced very few bugs. I did have an issue with the Bluetooth. Went to connect my jaybird BlueBuds and they connected fine. However, when I attempted to stream through Spotify the audio wouldn't play through the BlueBuds. It came out of the speakers. Has anyone experienced this bug?
So the Pinkish thing is something were working on, at least I'm looking into it tonight as well as some other bugs, now on tao with HW keys will crash sys UI AND hw encoding hasn't worked for me so videos can't really be recorded. The CPU temp is fixed in this build and I'd refrain from Outside kernels for noe because I've experienced some issues. Might be my kernels but I'm not sure. I'm working too see if I can get more settings opened up since most CM settings are greyed out for coding reasons. not done yet, please inform me of any other bugs I will address with the others soon

No this is not a pre-rooted ROM, this is no-root version (by default)

Man! finally I've been on an miui rom for a few days now; i usually switch back to a caf rom. but now, i believe i'd be staying in this rom for a while. thanks, bro! I only changed the kernel to stormbreaker for OC option, i prefer it that way. moreover, auto brightness gets the display too bright sometimes so i turned it off. there were a few bluetooth crashes, but it works in general. hopefully, other bugs get fixed because i use both reading mode and wireless display sometimes.

mine are not crashing. if you restore from mi backup, that might be the cause of the problem. for example, google photos for me should be installed from play store not thru mi backup.
try redownloading the rom. after wiping, and formating data, reboot to recovery again before flashing the rom. in my case, i flash latest firmware first, then the rom, then a kernel of my choice then magisk. after reboot, i go back to recovery again to flash the theme store fix.

saying it is 'full' of bugs is an exaggeration, bro. list them down so the dev can look into it. anyway, be reminded that this is a port, not all features will work as expected so we either get to live with it or switch to another rom that offers such features you need.
Come on friends......... It's still in early version and the developer himself said there are few bugs, but the features are good and many compared to other miui roms............. If u want stable version report the bugs via screenahots or provide logs if possible
I'm sure without bugs, it will be the best rom

Viper4android requires root, there is not non root version of the mod. Viper changes system audio files and that's why it requires root access

Many years testing result is Poweramp is the best (I have paid version).
But still v4a is excellent mode.

Poweramp is the best non root solution. I recommend to use it with REPLAY GAIN per track. You can create the tag info about RG with the PC software Foobar.

This bass equalizer is system wide so will work in any media app, I have used it on a few non rooted devices

Is Power Amp Music Player, it's The First Player App wich really works fine and had much Settings for Costum Sound !!!
If Test Month is over you will be Asked to Her Payed Version.... nur their are some Cracked Versions out too..... so u dont have To pay The App. But be carefull some Cracking Pages have Maleware and other bad Stuff Into their Cracked Apk's Always Scann Them(For Virus,Maleware Aso.) before u Install The Cracked Version, and DeInstall Other Version Before ..!
