Hi.
My 928f is not working so good.
Ive tried many firmwares but the battery is not working great. I now want to try to make a 10000% clean flash.
The battery was allready swapped.
Best way would be
A complete Nougat with Nougat Bootloader and Nougat pit File. Hope someone can give me a link ?
A really need a complete Nougat package with everything for a complete 100% clean flash !!
Thanks and sorry for my bad english :-/
if you dont mind i say this in here, but PIXEL rom V4 haves great battery life.
Had the same problem on stock rom, batterydrain. Pixel rom solved it for me.
basically if you flash stock frimware from odin, it is a clean flash when you have factory reset ticked. correct me if im wrong.
Ok.
Is every odin firmware with bootloader ?
First i want to bring to to a clean new stock
??

Good morning, my friends!
I have a little problem while I tried to update my note 4 910c turkey version via Odin.
I flashed the original 5.1.1 rom. Everything looked ok, but when the phone rebooted nothing happened. That's not at my first smartphone with android so I really have a pretty ideea how to flash something via Odin.
Also I tried a few weeks ago to flash another original ROM and the same thing happened.
Can you give me some ideas about that?
Thanks a lot for your attention!
Cheers!

Did you follow the instruction givin in the sammobile website?
Did you unzip the file?
check AP then add on it
if so maybe you should re download the rom.
i did the update over the 5.0.1 no issues .... then i decided to wipe and flash clean and that was super good
what do you mean by nothing happened? it still 5.0.1 firmware ??

Dude
Just download the latest Lollipop from Samsung and you will be always safe.
To install a Custom Lollipop you should first flash the respective Bootloader and Modem that are contained into Samsung's release.
What I've told you will ALWAYS work. Flash a Sammobile firmware corresponding to the Custom ROM version you are intending regardless if it's LL or MM.

but maybe get some issue and want to return to my old rom ditto rom so when i want to try any custom rom even mm or lolipop i need to flash stock one by odin then flash custom rom even from mm to lolipop or just flash bootloader and modem ...
thx in advance
Hi ammarsg
To play safe and assure everything will work fine you should always match the ROM firmware code with your Bootloader+Modem Code
For example:
If you flash a Lolipop 5.1.1 XXU1AOH2 would be great if your BL+Modem could have the same code. This is not always possible so you have to find the closest one regarding your model/region.
The same will happen to a Marshmallow 6.0.1 XXU2DPE5. You should find a Marshmallow as closest as of the ROM for your BL+Modem.
It wont work if you mix Lollipop x Marshmallow.
The only overhead you will have while flashing an entire Sammobile firmware is that it will overwrite your Custom Recovery so you will have to flash it too again using Odin before the ROM.
If you are able to find ONLY the Bootloader+Modem needed for your model/region it will be easier but it's not usually available.
Hope you have understood now.
Nice regards.

Hello Guys;
First i want to apologize for my bad english.
I have some problems with my device and want to reset all to default and update my s6edge+ to the last version.
I got my phone in the first days and do the first possible root with the arter97 kernel.
This is my device now:
Android 5.1.1
G928F version
3.10.90-arter97 kernel.
I want a stock kernel, the newest android for this device (which is it? didnt see the tree in the forest) and just simple root but all other original.
How i have to go now? please help me...
I want the clean way, no problem if i loose something but if i can avoid this, it would be nice. (whats the best way today to save my data?)
Best greetings
Daniel
Use odin and flash the latest firmware for your model at sammobile.
http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/ (firmware)
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24533103863142212 (odin)
Have I do a full wipe/Factory reset first?
Whats with the arter97 kernel?
Thanks for help
The wipe is up to you. I always wipe before putting anything new on just to be safe.
I think putting the firmware on with odin does wipe anyway, but not 100% sure.
As for the kernel, I haven't used that one. I use either skyhigh or audax kernels.
okay so i have this lil problem on my galaxy j5
a few months ago ive found this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-j5/how-to/tutorial-upgrade-j5-2015-to-6-0-t3443904 so i tried to upgrade my phone to android 6.0.1(firmware: http://updato.com/firmware-archive-select-model?record=D2F21816700B11E69B2DFA163EE8F90B) and it works perfectly fine tho
but im trying to downgrade to 5.1.1 coz i cant install any custom mods and kernels so i tried to flash a android 5.1.1 firmware(http://updato.com/firmware-archive-select-model?record=F33B6BD4400411E6815B0CC47A44B7B2) which it gave me bootloops
i tried to re-flash it to android 6.0.1 firmware i recently downloaded. it works and it starts up ok but it says that the system is not running and it should be factory reset--something like that. so ive factory reset my phone and again..it gave me bootloops
fortunately ive recently did some twrp backup and good thing it worked fine. but the problem is that the recovery didnt backup my phone password(which im stucked rn bcoz i cant type my main phone password)
im preety stuck here and if i factory reset again it still gives me bootloops
pls bear with me if you dont really understand my problem(im not that fluent in english)

I dont own that device, but i thing this would work:
Flash latest 6.0 firmware with samsung smart swich (PC), enable oem unlock in settings, flash twrp for 6.0 with latest odin, do a factory reset and a full wipe (except external sd an android secure). Then download latest 5.1 firmware for your device an flash it with odin (it will take some time).

You are stuck on Marshmallow
Hai bro,,,
u try this one after flashing offical firmware simply reboot your device into recovery mode by pressing Power + Home + Volume UP and do a wipe data/factory reset, and wipe cache partitions then reboot your device, it will start properly and all problems are now solved,,,,,

With the J500H, Samsung decided to lock the bootloader, meaning you can't downgrade. J500h seems to be the only locked device. Unless someone finds a way to unlock the bootloader then you are stuck on 6.0.1.

u can show me. how to flash with odin (
Firmware downgrade Samsung J500H from MarshMallow with the second loader to LP.
Those who are faced with the inability to roll back to version 5.1.1 are uncomfortable with using their phone.
We need to either use the Philippine firmware or install a custom firmware Belousova.
I found an acceptable way to flash my phone with a stock firmware.
For rollback, we need a four-file stock firmware J500HXXU1APA5 or J500HXXS1APE1.
File BL with the second loader BL_J500HXXU1APA5_CL958143_QB8363487_REV00_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar or BL_J500HXXS1APE1_CL1011281_QB9453563_REV00_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar .
Odin.exe.
Please note: these files for the regions: CAC, CAU, SEK, SER, SKZ.
In other regions, wi-fi or a radio module may not work.
For other regions, you need another file for a specific firmware.
If you need another region, write me the name of your firmware.
The process of the firmware I will not describe, it is well known.
You can see video here.

First update to MM have the some botloader like LP. But next update have other bootloader and you can't boot LP with odin to your telephon.
10:32 And some more - Philippines firmware LP 5.1.1 have second bootloader. You can downgrade from last update MM to LP 5.1.1 very easy.

I found how I can help for you.
You may download firmware from here :"goo.gl/Yk1Byz" and unzip and flash in odin this firmware.
Then if some hardware not working you may download firmware for your region from here:"goo.gl/SdcwhA"
and unzip repeat the flash with odin but with one file firmware.
And If you don't update your telephon to MM you can flash telephon using only this stock firmware. Save it. First file you can delete.
I am sorry - in first step you may set BL for APE1 file from my blog . It have second bootloader for firmware.
Hi Everyone and thanks for this beautiful forum that helps a lot !
Last week, I wanted to try to change my phone a SM-G935F on a custom rom " Minotaurus Oreo V10". I did it successfuly but didn't like it so much so I decided to go back to stock Rom.
I used Odin and a stock ROM for that but I think I made a big mistake by not wiping with TWRP before flashing with Odin.
It resulted that my phone was stocked on the S7 edge logo. Luckly I can go on download mode so it's not hard bricked but Odin failed on every flash I've tried.
Does anyone know a alternative way for my S7E to go back to a clean and stock ROM ?
Here are some infos about my phone :
base band : XXU2ERB2
peripheric : hero2lte
knox : 0x0
processor : exynos5
GPU : ARM Mali T880
Bootloader : G935FXXS2DRAA
PDA : XXU2ERB
CSC : OXM1CRAP
Thanks a lot for your help guys !
I see that I have still no answer. Let me know if I need to give more details or be more specific.
Thanks !

Forget about that, i think that since you went up to Oreo you cant go back to Stock Nougat.
Reflash TWRP and BlackPearl rom (im using it its really good) and wait for official Oreo then go stock
