Stuck on vendor screen

Hi
Yes, I joined the "Bricked my Artemis" club.
Problem is what do I do now? It says "Load the original vendor ROM" in this forum but how? I don't have the luxury of ActiveSync anymore. I tried connecting via mtty and that worked. I've tried to reset there and it took the commands but when I reset it still only shows the vendor screen.
I have downloaded a software package from the vendor that branded my phone but it's the normal AS update tool. I just realized my Bootloader Screen (three colors, you know) changed to a grey screen with a progress bar hanging at 0%. What the?
I read somewhere that perhaps my bootloader is too new. But how do I downgrade without AS?
I hope you can help me. I need the damn phone for my job...
Edit: I managed to get an original ROM onto it again, so please ignore this. Although I'm still trying to find out how to get USPL to cooperate...

HTC Athena x7500 "Black Screen"

Hi guys,
This is my first post over here >>> Actully i have a problem with the athena i tried to unlouck it using X7500 Unlocker but i faced a really difficult problem. i am getting a black screen only no boot , no hard reset and no USB connection. I tried my best to breing it back up but i couldn't. Plz i need your help to solve this problem.

Same happened to one of our units here.
Needed a trip to the service. ALWAYS take out SIM card and miniSD card out when flashing, they're known to cause random f***ups.

sorry about my english i have the same problem when i press camera key +power +rest i dont have any action and i try the camera +slid volum key down and i try camera + voice key and i try all key but i dont hav any action all this whitout sim and minisd just black sacreen help me plz plz plz

I have interest problem. After step 2 of unlocking i get the black screen. After I have followed of instructions. When I try to flash the ROM, i see: "Error [302]: Update error"
I have no SIM or card inside. I tried with 3 different ROM flash my f***ed device. Nothing helps. May be anyone of u can help me?

What state is your Athena in ? Bootloader accessible, black screen, what exactly ?

hi
i had similar problem but before any one can help you u have to tell us in what state exactly your device is and try to get it in to bootloader before we can help first thing is you want to check in bootloader is that if your device is hard spl (if yes then you can flash it with any rom)
the eiset way to do it is Rename the .NBH file to ATHEIMG.nbh and copy it to your miniSD card. Press camera+com manager+soft reset to bootloader and wait for reading ATHEIMG.nbh from SD. Remember, the miniSD card must be formatted with a FAT32 filesystem before copying the file ATHEIMG.nbh to your miniSD.
u can use any (athena rom ) as long as it is hard spl other wise if not sure or any doubt use your ship rom (nbh file)

i also got one 7500 for repair, client told me while CID unlocking communications breaks and AMEO is DEAD.
Does not go into BOOT-LOADER mode,
Computer not detects it,
No responce to charger, no ring
Battery is charged with 3.77vDC
Red ring comes for a sec only try to RESET the device with Charger connected
Red ring also visible as long as Battery is not in the Phone and Charger is connected.
IS THERE ANY HOPE TO REVIVE IT

Atom flash ROM Success, stuck at Update Utility Screen

Dear All,
My Atom flash wm5 ROM everything successfull, but when i cold reboot or normal reset, always go to Update Utility Screen. Can't go into the system.
Anybody can help me ?

Try to reflash it again, got the same problem before. Check if you can go to bootloadler and reflash.

put device in boot loader mode press "camera button + reset". If boot loader is not working. just try to reflash the unit again using DSUU, but make sure your unit still have ample enough of batt.
or try other suggestions posted in here.
but for me above mentioned steps work.

No problem, I was sweating and crossed my finger when that happend to my unit before. I thought i'll say goodbye to my atom.

I use Chinese Version WM6 ROM to flash it, for Step 1 CE ROM update are successfull, but Step 2 Bootloader get error, can't flash.
Without touching anything ( Remove cable or reset ), i try to use English Version WM5 ROM to flash it, Step 1 CE ROM update stuck in 0%, device screen blind. Wait for 5 min, still maintain 0%. Try to reset, can see O2 welcome pic, wait for a moment can go to setup screen, everthing is ok. Go into system try other function all can work, but when i reset. It return back to Update Utility Screen, same as previous problem again, put in battery automatic go to Update Utility Screen. Can't go into system again !
Anyone can help ?

Where did you aquire this Chinese rom, perhaps you must ask the author or you could keep reading, try the Wiki!

Thank you for your help, now can go into system. But no radio, want to flash in Active Sync, show me Country ID Error, into Bootloader flash, show me connection error. Would you mind to help in this also ?

if there is no radio, could have been a flash problem. try to reflash it again.
try changing USB cable aswell it can be a faulty one

Already test in 4 different USB cable and in different computer also. Still display Country Error in Activesync and Connection Error in Bootloader....

Hmmmmm thats odd? it should have been fix, oh well better get advice from where you got the rom or do a little reading in the wiki

Already can connected and flash any ROM, but new problem come out.
Comupter stuck at Stage 5 0% among 3 hrs still maintain 0%, but my device show Burn Radio MOT 100% completed
So i try to unplug the USB cable, my computer immediatly show Connection Error. After i hard reset my device, everything OK except No Radio ( NO GSM ).
Any advise

I have some problem with my HTC touch,i flashed new rom on htc,after flashing the device won't to turn on it launching os but after the notice"smart mobility" it's shot down,i tried to done new flash(by pressing the power btn and camera btn) but the device doesn't recognize the USB connection.
Please give me some advice how to fix this problem.

If you flashed your device with a rom from this section, you just successfully bricked your Elf. Flash the device back to stock by putting it in bootloader mode. This might or might not work, but it is worth a shot.

Firstly thank you for your answer,but i tried to re-flash the device but it doesn't work,the flashing is complete but after the launching the OS i get "smart mobility" and animal going to sleep back

Are you flashing back to the stock rom as I suggested?

Yes,but it doesn't work.

Can you access bootloader?

Yes,i can access to bootloader,before couple of flashing rom's i even succeed to re-flash the device,now i get some errors during the flash,like "invalid id".

I think you may still have a chance to recover it since you can access b/l, but if you cannot even flash to stock... that is an issue. One to which I don't have an answer for. Head over to the Elf section. Someone might have a way to unbrick the device...

You do realize that I asked you twice to flash to stock rom. Stock rom and original rom are the same thing, if you weren't sure of that I was talking about, you should have asked. Help - Bricked/Broken Trophy?

Hi all,
Bought a brand new HTC Trophy from an auction site but has no warranty.
Going to contact HTC to see if they can provide some type of support.
Downloaded Zune and updated the phone fine the first time. It then mentioned another update was available so went through the process.
The last screen on the update said : Waiting for phone to reboot.
Now I watched the phone for over 30 minutes and it was stuck/frozen on the HTC logo when powering on so I switched this off thinking something had happened.
Now I'm unable to even power on the unit, factory hard reset or anything. Has anyone experienced this before?

Try going on HTC's website and asking their support staff if they will repair it under the general warranty?

Yeah I've emailed HTC but of a language barrier. Kept mentioning to return to my dealer, however I didn't buy it from a dealer. Will see how I go.

Make a gold card with the Y cable and unbrand the Trophy, and then put other ROM in it, it will work with Y cable process.

Howdy, I am in the same boat. My HTC Trophy (Verizon brand) comes on and goes to the bootloader screen with red, green, blue and white and thats all it will do. It doesn't even show it's charging. How do I get a rom on this device? I have tried somse roms from ansar but none work> this is actually how it got to **** state of a paper weight. Can someone walk me through step by step how to get my phone working. Thanks

I already test on a sticky logo Trophy, and it work.
You need:
1- a Y cable (make or buy one),
2- download the original and oldest ROM for it,
3- Make the gold card to unbrand it and do the process
It should work, say something...

Hi Prootc1, my phone initially had a stuck HTC logo and was forced to power it off. Since then, the phone will not respond to any keys / power on at all. It's pretty much 100% bricked with no responses/leds/lights emitting.
I'm wondering if I do find a repair service that offers JTAG, may be the only way? but this is assuming the phone can be switched off to reflash?
Anyways an update is that I've taken it to our local comms provider who are sending it away for service. Will hear back whether it's under warranty or not.

Hi, I have boot issues with trophy stuck at boot HTC white screen and nothing else.
When it starts make 4 times vibrate and then nothing.
I can access the 3 color mode but I have try to update and can't connect to pc.

Can you try the RSPL/HSPL tool?
I've given WickedPenguin a guide which should help you (assuming your on the correct boot loader version)...Get that tri color screen and note down the SPL details.

I too am having the multi-color screen appearing. I plugged my phone into my computer last night for the first time and it said there was an update. I left it running and came back to a 'failed update' message and this screen. From the pieces I have gathered, from reading in the developer section, it appears I am hosed. There is not a SPL unlock for my model of the Trophy, which apparently goes by the name 'SparkW for Verzion' as well. This was not a pleasent way to start my day.
