Is this happening to anyone?
If I go into lock screen (lock phone) with "Mobile Hotspot" enabled, the "Mobile Hotspot" stops and disconnects any device that is currently using it.
I've searched the lock screen settings and powersaving options, but I've not found any option that would keep the "Mobile Hotspot" active on lockscreen.
Thanks!
Answering to myself, maybe it's useful for someone else.
The "App Power Monitor" must be disabled or else the "Mobile Hotspot" will be shutdown when the device is locked.

Hi.
My X1 seem to like trying to connect to internet whenever I dont have WLAN (like before it has connected when I turn it on.
Is there any way to turn this off?
Im was playing with the connection modes and deactivated "Auto" and set it to gprs/gsm or w/e it's called mode but this does not seem to solve the problem of the phone going into "Trying to connect" mode.
You got any tips on how to solve this?
I searched the web, and found this...
Go to Start Menu ---> settings
Then go to the "connections" tab
open "connections"
go to the "advanced" tab
click on "select networks"
There are two pull-down menus, choose "my work network" for both
Then click OK.
I've managed to stop the X1 from connecting automatically with this, hope this helps.
Hi,
Has anyone had any trouble getting notifications for networks to connect to? When I have WiFi enabled and there are open networks I have to go into wireless settings to connect...
Are there any WiFi scanning apps worth getting to make it easier?
Cheers

Nope, I get notifications fine; I just pull down the bar and tap the notification if I want to connect. "Network notification" in "Wireless settings" hasn't disabled itself?
Nope, notifications are still on. Tried tiring them off/on but nothing comes up.
I've noticed that my phone will pop up a dialog with all available Wi-Fi networks listed when I turn on the Wi-Fi using the toggle button on the Notification bar, even though I have the "Notify me when an open network is available" setting disabled in the Wi-Fi settings.
If I turn on the Wi-Fi using the checkbox in the Wireless Networks settings menu, the dialog doesn't pop up (like I would expect).
Can anyone else reproduce this on their phone? Seems like a TouchWiz bug to me.
I believe it is a bug. It happens to me every once and a while.
I have T-Mobile and an AL10. My phone's internet seems to work fine at home, but once I get outside of my local area I don't get any internet service. This makes it quite infuriating to try using Google Maps for example. I have to stop and use wifi.
The "Mobile Data" button is disabled. Also, the 4 config options on the "Mobile Networks" page are greyed out. How can I enable these config options so that I can at least get basic internet working most of the time?
Is this a related message in the Dual SIM management: "Global mobile data is in compatibility mode"
It says I need to disable this for internet work, but when I disable it the phone either asks for a Huawei ID or tries to get me to buy a data package.
Never mind, I'm a moron! There is a big switch on the top of the screen. Disabling Sky Tone allowed my sim card to work. Yay.
Note: the 4G button was greyed out by default, so make sure to check that after disabling Sky Tone.
Is there any way to keep cellular connection while using wifi? After enable wifi a while, the cellular connection disconnected and when turn of wifi, it takes times to reconnect 3G. I don't want this delay. I need a function like wifi assist on iOS
Yes, if you have Developer Options enabled (if not, tap on Build Number a bunch of times under About>Software Information and it will display in the setting menu) and choose "Cellular Data always Active".
I haven't tried this myself as I'm usually not connected to WiFi but it should do as it says.
