So i tried to force restart it by pushing Volume Down+Power Button, not any response...
Today i did a flash firmware ( G935FXXU1DPLT_G935FOXA1DPLT_BTU_FULL_SAMFIRM.NET) by Odin and all seems to be ok by Odin... See the screenshots. S7 got restarted but still freezes as in the beginning.
Any help please??
Go to recovery volume up+ home button. Hold volume up and home button before pressing power go to recovery and factory reset.

I tried to boot recovery again, same issue... I didn't install new application or something added to phone for more than 2 weeks, from then i haven't observed issues with my s7 edge.
I tried back to flash it now, but with my 7% low battery, i couldn't hope more than this ! i'm letting it charging now until his 100% then i'll retry to flash it.
It doesn't charge or shows any sign of life... what the hell! what must I do???
The best solution for that is bring your phone to samsung service center or wait for other member reply in this thread. Maybe some other could help you with your problem. Anyway i'm sorry couldn't help you.
Did your phone is rooted before? Its strange that happened to your phone. Or did you flash anything or something in your phone before?

Hi man,
Thanks for the reply.
I didn't flash berfore or tried to root it. i just used Lucky patcher for non root user.. don't know what it could do to the s7 edge knowning that it hasn't privilege to change anything in the software of samsung.
Problem with samsung warranty, is that about 10 months ago s7 edge felt on the ground, got back cover little bit broken. so the local shop told me that sure they will ask for reparation because there is a crack behind the phone so certainly that the issue comes from the crack... so i think i'll just repair the cover and send it properly to samsung, 'cause it stills under warranty.
i've got him back but problem is when i launch the odin flash, it reboots the phone and makes a fail for the flashing rom... it does a bootloop...
I'm not sure bro but sounds like your eMMC phone is broken that's why you're not allowed to flash firmware. But try to contact other expert member here try to send a pm message maybe they can help you out.

I have had similar issues.
If the phone does not react to any pushing of buttons, I suggest you completely let the battery drain. Just leave it for 28 hours without charge. Then charge and try again.
Second, if you can get into download mode, use samsung smart switch and or Kies to get emergency firmware recovery going. This also worked for me.
If the phone does not react after powerdrain and recharge, hand it in to a service center.

Yes SmartSwitch on the PC.
It has the recovery option. You must be able to get into Download mode on the S7
I did it. It works to drain it and recharge so i have flashed with the official nougat firmware but then bootlop at samsung logo. When i tried to force reset it. It came bacl to the blue light so now im forced to wait until it ďisappear and then recovery mode to see if i can access into it

Sorry if I am over simplifying but it is important to be very accurate. As you state that "you" flashed the nougat software? Sounds like you used odin or
Did you:
1) Put your phone in download mode? (not recovery)
2) Did the PC recognise your phone?
3) Did you use Samsung Smart Switch on the PC?
4) Did you use the Menu in Smart Switch on the PC: "More", "Emergency Software Recovery and Initialization" option?

Hi. A few days ago my Galaxy S stopped working. This is what happens:
The phone turns on, shows the Galaxy S logo and makes the usual sound, then a black screen appears. The back and menu touch buttons are lit up. It stays like this forever and nothing else happens.
Some info about my phone, it is the Bell i9000m version. I first got the updated Bell 2.1 firmware and about a week ago upgraded to Froyo through Kies. I haven't rooted the phone, or applied a lagfix or anything like that. My phone is completely stock other than the official firmware.
I can confirm that I HAVE gotten it into download mode (volume+home+power) and it shows that screen with the green android and text that says "Downloading. Do not shut off target" but that's it. Kies doesn't recognize the phone, even when it's in download mode.
I've already contacted Bell, and they want to take it in for repairs. From what I've read on this forum, I might be experiencing the corrupt SD card problem. Is there anything I can do to try and fix it before sending the phone off to bell? The loaner phone they gave me is awful.
Any help is appreciated.

Yup, sounds like the problem I had when my phone died. To make sure though, get into recovery mode, Volume up + Home key + Power. When the white Samsung name appears, let go the home button until the Samsung name disappears. The phone should go into recovery mode. If not, try it again but this time release the power button instead of the home button.
Once in recovery, go to factory reset and click the home button (This will wipe all data from your phone so you will have to reload all apps and data you installed). If it works, then you most likely have to re-flash the phone, but if you get a message like this...
E: Can't mount /dev/block/mmcblk0p1
then the internal memory is most probably cooked.
I have read that by using Odin and flashing the phone with JL2, the phone can self-repair the dead SD issue. Read about it here, the posters name is cloudrainstar, about half way down the page.
Where are you located? I am in Montreal and brought my phone into the service center and after 2 days they replaced it with a new phone. I feel lucky that some people have waited for weeks and I only waited 2 days.

if you are not in Montreal Contact Samsung Electronics Canada Inc. @ 1-800-726-7864. They will send you a shipping label to return your phone directly to Samsung.
Good Luck,
Ian
I tried the recovery thing just now. The factory reset happened very quickly but it said successful. However, this hasn't fixed the problem. Does that mean I'm ok to try and re-flash?
Bell tech support told me to try and factory reset, which I did. They said this is actually an INTERNATIONAL issue caused by the SOFTWARE. He said nothing about a dead SD card. Strange. Any other suggestions?
By the way, he said I shouldn't deal with Samsung directly because my warranty is with Bell. I live in Toronto if that makes a difference.
From what I have been reading, Bell has really bad tech support when it comes to the SGS. Contact Samsung at 1-800-726-7864 and ask them what is the best thing for you to do, send it to them or to Bell. I have heard about people waiting for more than 5 weeks to get a phone back from Bell.
As for it being an international issue, that is possible, but for the majority of people here on XDA, the problem is with the I9000M, Bell's version of the phone.
If you want to try to flash it your self, get the JL2 file from here and use Odin to flash it. Get Odin here.
Read up on flashing your phone

as I am not experienced enough to give flashing instructions.
Give it a shot, what do you have to lose?
Ian
Hmm, I WANT to try and flash the phone but I'm really worried about messing it up. Can somebody tell me the possible risks of re-flashing it myself?
From what I understand, if I send my phone to samsung all they're going to do is reflash it anyways.
An update. I didn't see it at first, but in the recovery menu before using the system restore or other functions, it DID show that Can't mount /dev/block/mmcblk0p1 error (no such file or directory). I guess I'm out of luck then.
To any bell galaxy s users, do you know if it's fastest to get this phone repaired through bell by phone, through bell at one of the service centers/stores, or through samsung directly.

Defiantly through Samsung directly.
Why not give this a try, cloudrainstar said his phone worked after flashing JL2...
cloudrainstar said:
I was on XXJPY PDA and UGJK4 Modem (With UGJK4 SBL), and I decided to flash the SBL and Modem for UGJL2...
After that was done, my phone went on, then off, then on, then off... ad infinitum.
I thought the SBL might have killed the XXJPY PDA, so I reflashed that, only to find that it's still doing the same thing...
So I flashed the UGJK4 SBL, and the phone booted... but goes into recovery and tells me it can't find mmcblk0p1...
I flashed a kernel with adb enabled and checked: mmcblk0, mmcblk0p1, mmcblk0p2 were all missing!
Since I have access to download mode anyways, I decided to flash the entire UGJL2 Rom...
At first boot, it booted, then kinda rebooted itself again, going into recovery, then it said something on the recovery screen about wiping cache, and "verifying filesystem"... Then it was able to install the CSC!? After that my phone booted into UGJL2 without a problem...
I wonder if this means phones with dead internal sd cards have a fix now?... Or if someone would be able to extract whatever it is in this ROM and fix sd cards without having to flash this ROM too? (Like the three button fix?)
Tried some more things...
After I was able to boot into UGJL2, I flashed XXJPX directly on top of it, hoping that it will all work from there. But it didn't work, I went back to the "dead" internal sd state. I flashed UGJL2 again, and let it do its magic again, the phone did the same thing, reboot, start, reboot again, start into recovery, attempt to install CSC, then says "deleting file", then installed CSC again, and "verifying the filesystem".. and then it went in again!
It looks like the SBL and the Recovery of this ROM is working together to "fix" the SD Card?

Here are some instructions...
Download this file, it's JL2 from Bell, many thanks to Chainfire for this.
http://www.multiupload.com/UTFJCCIP5H
Save it to your desktop. The file is called...
I9000M_JL2_JL2_JL2_JL2_UG_BMC
Uncompress it onto your desktop. you will have a file called: I9000UGJL2_homebinary_add_param.tar
Leave the .tar file intact, do not uncompress that one.
Next, download Odin and also save it to your desktop and uncompress it.
http://www.filedude.com/download/JS0sHyCZ1C5a6d42b02d
Open Odin
Click on the PDA button and choose I9000UGJL2_homebinary_add_param.tar from your desktop.
Do not click anything else!!
Put your phone into download mode, Volume Down + Home Button + Power Key
Plug your phone into the computer
Odin will see it and will look similar to this, though the com port might be different...

Click on Start and leave everything alone until Odin is finished. When Odin is finished the phone will reboot possibly two or three times. Give it a few minutes (possibly 10 min) to boot up.
If it continues to boot or if nothing happens after 15 min, you will have to send it to Samsung.
Hope this helps,
Ian
Thanks for the tutorial! I'll try it out later.
An update. I tried that flash. Nothing. I also tried a ton of other flashes. I tried Jl2 again, followed by a SBL flash and even a speedfix kernel flash.
Still nothing! Now the samsung galaxy logo just flashes constantly after I turn the phone on.
So I guess you have to return it to Sansung. I would flash JL2 though as it has the i9000M on the flash screen showing it has a Bell Rom on it. If there is only a i9000 without the 'M', they might not warranty it because it was flashed.
I did this and everything was fine.

Hello Guys!
My Problem (I've looked for about 2 hours in the forum, but can't find anything similar to my situation):
Got my new LG G2 (D802, 32GB, Android 4.4.2) today. I wanted CyanogenMod on it, so i unlocked it, etc...
But as i have installed in recovery mode, and after that i always got stuck at the CM 10.2-Boot screen i decided to install the stock android back onto it.
i went into download mode, choose the right .kdz-file and tried to flash it with LG Flash tool 2014.
But it got stuck there at 20%. My current situation: I can't get out of the screen where it says "Firmware upgrade and 0%, und below is "B75" and "rooted". When i press the power button for some seconds the screen gets black, then the LG logo appears and immediately the Firmware-upgrade-screen appears, again with "0%" and "B75" and "rooted".
I also can't get into recovery mode: When it push volume down and power butten, and it asks me to do a factory hard reset and i press the power button to confirm (when normally then the recovery mode menu appears) it changes automatically again to the Firmware-upgrade-screen.
Thanks in advance, hope you can help!
Were you doing all this with the phone still plugged in? If so disconnect and long press power for 15 seconds. Then again try to enter recovery. If you still can't get in, power off and retry download mode again with a fresh connection.
it's not working.. i've powered the phone off, then i get with volume down and power button to the screen where i have to confirm twice with the power button and them next comes the firmware upgrade page...
i have also no chance to get into the download mode with volume up and connect cable..
any other ideas?

Well what you're describing there IS download mode. At the top it says firmware update. The progress bar reads zero until it detects an update being performed. Like this...

That's download mode. Maybe check in device manger (if windows) while the device is plugged in and on that screen. Does it show up as LGEAndroidnet USB serial port? If yes, that's the proper indentification as well. If not, how is it showing up?
Hello,
yes in device manager it shows up as "LGE AndroidNet USB Serial Port (COM6).
My G2 is exactly stuck like the one in the picture you've sent.
I thought i could try this solution on ubuntu:

But it also can't fix it, because when i plug my G2 in, ubuntu says: "MTP-Device could not be read."

Problem solved warranty service. Update KitKat soft, but no't have offical info and lollipop update. I don't understant that LG Suite have yesterday update.
Same problem here,
my LG G2 D802, unrooted phone with official 4.4.4 got message to update it to lolipop, and I am now stuck on Firmware Update screen.
LG Mobile Support tool, was showing that I am making progres, but on the status bar i got stucked on 32%, then I started again, and then got error on 40%, then started again through LG mobile Support tool and got to 50%, and the same to 60%, then 70%, and this last time i am stucked on 92% and my LG Mobile Support tool forced close.....
And now its downloading again update, and maybe now it will go with all 100 %, dont know what to do.. this is so....
I thought it was driver related problem, but i changed machine, from pc to lap top, and the same thing is happening..... Every time it stops, first it writes on mobil screen with red letters ASSERT
and on status bar on LG MST it freezes, but as i sad, every time i get more % very strange
Same here - unrooted stock KK d802 - started doing the update, it failed, now stuck on the firmware screen with no way out...
i had the same problem, after several times i gave up and tried kitkat to revert back. Errors kept going but after several times it reached 100% and i am in kitkat now. I will try again today.
Yup, its probably somethnig wrong with the software that they rolled up to us.... after 10th time, it reached to 100%, but know i am stuck without network and signal,
and I get error messages "proces android.com has stoped" on every 3 seconds, I am losing my mind here realy
Do not update it, just wait for a few days, until they fix this
This is first time in my life, that I bought android phone, and that i didnt touched it, unlock it or root it, and with offical update i am having problems that i never had with custom roms

Don't know if this works for anyone else but...
I got mine stuck on the firmware screen because I was holding the volume up button while it was booting up. So I removed it from the computer and took out the battery. Then I put it back in, booted into recovery mode and rebooted to bootloader. It went to the lock screen and I didn't lose anything.
Help
I have a similar problem, my phone is stuck on 0% Firmware update and says in a little box: 910K B100. I have tried powering off but it doesn't work. Please help.
I've searched far and wide for an answer to my problem and I've returned with nothing. It's been almost 24 hours without my phone and I think I'm losing it. I've downloaded and tried LGUP (alongside Uppercut), LG FlashTool 2014, LG Bridge, LG DLLs, etc and nothing has worked to flash my phone to stock with the KDZ. The closest I've gotten it to work is with LGUP but stupid me, I managed to edit the buildprop before it went self destruct and changed the device identifier to a Google Pixel XL and LGUP refuses to cooperate. Any help is appreciated. Please. :good:
I've managed to get into fastboot. I'm sure I can do something from here but idk what to put. Any help is appreciated once again

My guess is that you're rooted considering you've edited the build.prop? Why not enter recovery and flash a stock rom?

Can you not get into TWRP?? I believe its the same way as everyone else..\
Hold the volume down button and the power button and as soon as you see the LG logo left go of the power button and press it again. This manual step is a pain in the arse, but it will get you there eventually. Since youre rooted, you also get the "This device is corrupted screen" yes? The LG logo popup you are looking for is right before that.
What I do for easy and fast access is this. I keep the back cover off and hold the volume down button for ease. I hold the power button, let go, and press it again and ususally that first try doesnt work. As soon as I see the corrupt screen I take the battery out very quickly and put it back in and repeat the process. After a few tries the LG logo will hang before the corrupt screen and that gives you the time you need to let go of the power button and then hold it again until the factory reset screen comes up. Just hit yes twice... It will go into TWRP.

I'm glad that this helped you out. Getting into recovery with root was always a pain.

Well with the corrupt screen, it seems that the time frame that would allow you into Recover/TWRP is shorted. So pulling the battery after trying usually gave me more than enough time to boot into it. Probably not the best for the phone though xD
Hello guys, i am the newest member of your commuity.
Recently i bought a leeco le pro 3 elite (x722). Now it has a problem. I was taking a snapshot of the screen in the morning and in notification are it kept showing saving screenshot (phone continued to work just ok, i an 4g video call through messenger, surfing the web, playing some games all day). Even after trying to close forcibly the notification about the save it wouldn't dissapear. In the evening i tried to do a restart and the phone shutted down and now can't turn it on. Only i can get is this when i plug it in computer:

If i put it to charge , the phone is getting charged i think, because it's starting to gain a little bit temperature (normal, like everytime when was charging) , but no blinking light or anything else. i tried a lot of combination to start up: Vol up+ power, vol down+ power, all three pressed, power button for 3 minutes, power + vol down for 2 minutes etc...
I don't get nothing not a vibration or even a blink - 0 reaction.
Can you give me an advice how to bring it back to life?

Need more information.
Sorry to hear about this issue.
Does it have stock software or did you attempt to install a custom Rom?
Can you boot into Recovery? (Stock or TWRP)
Can you boot to fastboot mode?
If it has stock and you just bought it, you need to immediately return it for a exchange, it sounds like its bricked. Hopefully you can get to recovery or fastboot. There is no fix for a bricked X722. If the bootloader is unlocked and you can get to fastboot there is hope.
Answering the questions above will help determine whether or not there is any solution for your X722

no i never tried to unlock or to see status of bootloader.
i can't get anything on the screen and on computer i only get de Qualcomm qLoader driver (status). no matter what buttons i try combine when trying to power on the device i get nothing not a light or a vibration. Even the led on the upper side isn't lightning up, even if if put it to charge.

Does it have stock software?
Did you attempt installing a custom ROM, or manually update stock EUI?
If it still has the stock software and you never flashed custom software nor tried to install 5.8.26s, incorrectly then Your battery is probably dead. Possibly caused by a faulty USB C cable. You can order a battery for about $20.
Have you tried charging with another cable?
On the other hand if you attempted flashing software without unlocking the bootloader, the phone is hard bricked and there is no resolution at this moment.

No i didn't try to update or to install custom roms or enter some special mods. i just used the phone to make 4g call and some small games. I didn't even tried to put some hacked games or soft.
My phone was on a repairing center so they tried another cable, but i still get only this status Qloader 8006.

Since the battery is obviously working, somehow you phone is bricked. Maybe a shop rom was installed by the vendor?
You need to file a claim for a warranty exchange from whoever you bought the phone from., we do not have the needed Qfil software for the Leeco X722, and there is no way to repair without it. However in a worst case scenario, you can replace the motherboard.
I recently updated my Poco M3, it updated correctly but after that, it doesn't turn on anymore, I searched about it and I found that it was a problem with the update. I managed to turn on my phone again by pressing 13 seconds the power button, after that, I received a new update so I thought the update fixed that but when the phone rebooted to install the new update it doesn't turn on anymore. I've tried to enter fast boot mode but doesnt't works.
I don't know what should I do, I've tried again to hold on the power button and I also tried to enter fast boot but as I said it doesn't work. Also when I plug my phone to charge it, nothing happens
I hope someone can help me, and sorry for my bad English.
you need to drain your battery first. same happen to my poco m3. after that you need to flash your firmware or else it will happen again after you reboot.

And how can I flash the firmware? I've tried using the Xiaomi Flash tool but it asks me for a Mi account that is valid for the process.

Drain out your battery and then just plug the charger then wait.
I had this happen to me 2 times now,it would take days if your phone fully charged like mine,it takes 5 days.
After that,
make sure to backup your phone, unlock your bootloader and then re-flash the stock rom with Mi-Flash or just use another rom to your liking.
The truth is I like the stock MIUI than any other rom but if this kind of problem keep happening,I rather just flash another rom.
Hopes this help fixing your phone, sorry for the rant there.
Biggest problem with this phone is , there's no way to force reset the phone. I literally tried everything from vol up + power and volume down + power and everything else Buying this phone is prolly one of the biggest regret of my life. And the youtuber xiaomi slaves didnt help. But my real question is.... Will flashing custom rom fix this problem?

It did happen to me and I did pull the battery connector even pull the display connector while doing it.I read a post on reddit about it,pull the battery and display connector and then try connect it back while pushing the power button, the guy said the phone did turned on but whenever he tried to restart, phone would not boot and he would repeat that unplug, plug, hold power thinggy .I did try the method but nothing happened.Plug in to pc would only detect it as in EDL mode, with a locked bootloader theres nothing I can really do as flashing it would only met with this and that error. Then I read someone on a forum said to just let the phone fully discharged and try to plug in charger and wait for the battery empty logo pop on screen then the phone would boot as normal. It did work for me but I gone through nearly 5 days as my phone was fully charged. Its been like 4-5 days now and eventhough I already downloaded the latest ota for miui global,Im still dreading to install it as Im afraid the same problem would occurs again.Maybe I should unlock my bootloader first so the next time my phone goes EDL mode again, things would get easier to do.Sorry if this rants of mine a bit too long.

i did a factory reset.... but the phone didnt turned back on. i did do the ota update three times prior to this one which failed three times. .. the first one prolly broke the recovery and fastboot mode ... im not sure what to do after this. since i cant go to recovery or fastboot mode. this is prolly the first time i experienced this. where the ota itself which is supposed to make the phone better broke the phone. it will prolly turn on after it got drained but im not sure how to update firmware without recovery or fastboot and yes this is a ****ty phone and company alright. i send my logs to xiaomi. and still no response from them.
tnx sa share boss malaking tulong

Poco m3 drains battery by itself. General rule of the thumb
1-10% - 0 to 1 day
11-20% - 2 days
Basically 1 day is around 10% of battery
I think the motherboard is on but for some odd reason the display board and basically the whole thing doesnt turn on on. But it still is draining battery even when turned off. Removing the battery doesnt fix it. I tried several times
