So far i noticed that opening folder will crash mifavor launcher if all animations are disabled in developer settings. While all animation are enabled this will not happen.
call settings/carrier settings/additional settings will crash com.android.phone which is where u find waiting calls option.
P.S
Call settings/carrier settings/additional settings crash can be resolved deactivating both sim cards and activating again in dual SIM settings.
** Microphone still doesn't work when making calls (randomly) from one of two sims
Maybe it's important to mention that this occurs more when calling fixed lines (land lines) then mobile. Haven't test it yet if it's lack of land code prefix issue.

Hello,
I have a samsung h1 (i8320) phone, and my problem is that when someone calls me
the phone is not ringing. The caller phone display redirection active, and the caller can only hear a small beep and the call time counter starts after that.
I can call anyone and recieve sms without problems.
(if i put my simcard to a nother phone there is no problem with incoming calls)
I think i caused this error, when i used the root menu *#197328640# to test my gps signal, but accidentaly i changed some setting related to networking i think.
The phone now displays EDGE instead of GPRS, (network mode gsm 900/1800).
I am able to recieve calls again by enabling GCF test mode in the root menu, but i dont know what it does.
I flashed the phone and made a factory reset, but the root menu settings where not reseted.
I would like to know if there is any way to reset settings in the root menu to default?
Thanks,
Gaszton
A test is needed to verify if it's a software problem (less possible) or an hardware problem (more possible).
Bring it in warranty assistance if you have or just try to reinstall roms or updates.. i hope you know how to.
Maybe, if you have some time, you may try the android rom for that phone... go here and give a check...

As the title says, when somebody calls me on one of my sip numbers and I'm on wifi I need to put the phone on speaker a number of times before I can start hearing anything from the call. After that it works but it might lose audio again at some later point and cycling the speaker setting brings it back.
I haven't noticed this before 4.4.2 and I can't reproduce it while on 3G. Any ideas?
Actually phone also directly drops the call or even reboots from time to time while doing this. Cool software, bro.
As a late update - I followed Samsung support's advice and reset the phone to factory defaults (from recovery) - then only installed a minimal set of programs and modified a minimal set of options. Receiving sip calls is still buggy or causing the phone to reboot.
I'm on stock KK and quiet mode works good except for whitelist but i allowed some numbers for call on the whitelist (mostly family for emergencies) but when i activate quiet mode and call from one of those allowed contacts my phone doesn't ring at all, call is ended (from the phone calling i go directly to voicemail) and i have notification of missed call when i wake up the phone.
The option to let them pass through if they call twice in less than 3 minutes work as expected, but the whitelist doesn't. Does it work for you?
any thoughts?

glad to see i'm not the only one, i also tried to modify contacts number and add country code and regional code to match exactly the number when you receive a call, but the option of 2 call in less than 3 min works anyway even if the number doesn't have country code.
Hope someone knows something about this.
I have been using custom roms [mainly Invicta/AEX] and recently observed that when the phone is in sleep i am getting a delay in incoming call in jio sim
So i tried to make a call to my jio sim when the phone was in sleep and observed the phone will only start ringing[Phone wakes] only when the caller hears atleast 2-3 rings
Tried most of the custom ROMS and having the same issue.......
No issue in the Stock ROM
No issue with other sim as well
[Tried calling in the second sim and had no issue like this and problem was only with JIO sim]
Anyone have this issue and I dont know whether there is a thread for this already.......
Dont know whether this issue was there before as recently only i have noted the issue
Upgraded my dual sim s8 to Oreo. When the incoming call screen pops up there is seemingly no way to tell which sim the call is ringing. On Nougat there was a subtle identifier in the status bar where the receiving sim had an outline around it. With Oreo that's gone and I see no way to tell. Am I missing it? anyone?
If the call comes in while you are unlocked and on the device the small popup does actually identify which sim, as does the call history.
Seems like a pretty decent oversight on Samsung's part.
Answering my own question here which may help others. It seems you can only get that outline indicator in the status bar if you choose a default sim for calls. If you select "always ask" then there is no outline indicator at all. So for example if you choose sim 1 for calls, the outline will always be around the signal bar for sim 1, unless you are receiving an incoming call on sim 2, the outline moves over to sim2 while the phone is ringing so you can determine which sim is getting the call.
So once you choose a default sim for calls, (depsite the fact that you still have the choice of sim to dial from in the dialer app) it functions just like it did in Nougat.
This was a pain point for me. Thanks for the answer.
Still we should get an indicator that is quite clear and big instead of struggling to find out about very basic thing (which sim are we getting the call through). Looking forward for a fix on this
