Hi everyone
I had a Note 3 that I thought the version is 9005 because there were no logo of T-mobile in stock rom and the version 9005 was shown in "about" on the phone. I decided to flash stock lollipop 9005 on it, when i put the phone in "downloading mode" , I realized that the phone name is 900T. I was shocked and decided to flash a lollipop 900T. I used Odin and flashed 900T. when the phone booted, I saw T-mobile logo and unfortunately baseband and IMEI are unknown. :crying::crying::crying:
the salesman cheated on me and sold me a modified phone . I flashed some custom rom (marshmallow and nougat).
MagMa-Nx.UR3.N930FFKU1BPI8
RR-N-v5.8 (the current rom)
the boots completely but still unknown baseband and IMEI
now I don't know if there is any way to bring my phone back or not.
any help would be appreciated.
If its 900T then you want TMobile forum not this one .

N9005XXUGBOEA_N9005OJVGBOE4_N9005XXUGBOD3_HOME.taror
Any hints or help guys??:crying:
Please any help guys
I'm still stuck with this problem, I tried all kinds of ideas after deep searches but non of them work so far
I even rooted my device and tried three custom ROMs but still my note 3 can't detect the SIM card and the IMEI is nul and baseband version is Unknown
any ideas
The issue is you must have chosen the wrong rom for your region. What Country are you in and is your sim from that country?
YOu need to flash a rom based on your CSC and sim ... I've done this a few times before and it always messed up when flashing custom roms, etc. The only way I found to fix it was to flash back to stock rom for my phones original region (ex: if my phone is from Japan, need to flash Japanese official rom for my mobile provider).
That should restore your IMEI and sim card issues.
If you're not sure, you can post back with details of your phone (CSC - region).
thanks for the reply . I can't really tel the exact location or region of my phone. but whe nI look at the box it all written in Bulgarian language.
I will try to flash N9005XXUGNG1_BGL and see what will happen
So yesterday, i bought my secondhand galaxy s5 on my local store, the store didn't give me the box or any document about it. so i tried to figure out if this one isn't a fake one. the label behind the battery told me that this is a g900f variant, still being curious i check the imei on imei.info and it says that this is an original g900f (i also checked the phone build on the setting menu it also said this is a proper g900f), but long story short i found out that my phone is already rooted by the previous owner, so i tried to unroot it, but when i do it the phone stuck in the bootloop, so i downloaded odin, usb driver, and a new stock rom for the g900f on my laptop, i get the phone to the download mode (odin mode? i dunno what is it called) and it said my device is a g900v variant, and when i tried to flash the g900f stock rom i always failed. now i'm confused wheter if my s5 indeed is a real g900f or a g900v. what should i do now? do i have to download a g900v stock rom, or try another g900f stock rom?
Maybe you downloaded g900v rom so that is why this version is stated in Odin.

If i remember type in the dialer *#1234#.Check correct model and csc code and then you can download from Sammobile correct firmware.cheers
Check what it says at the top of the screen when the phone is in download mode, that is the only info you can 100% trust
I am in a deep problem and i can't afford to buy another phone neither can i return it. I am from pakistan and i tried flashing the cynogenmod 12.1 with twrp and lost the default samsung bootloader as well and now it show seandroid enforcing thing as well and i cannot go back as i didn't backup anything previously. I am too stuck and helpless. I noticed the phone is 910P and the firmware was 910F because when i install the 910F Lolipop 5.1.1 firmware through odin it fails. The cynogenmod is working fine with wireless lan working and all but i have no sim card detection, cannot make calls lots of issues and IMEI is EMPTY as well. Please some body help me out. I dont need links. I need a tutorial to make this device working again. Some step by step procedure.
I hope someone helps me out soon.
This note 4 is Snapdragon one and i am living in pakistan and previous samsung recovery menu used to show 910P but the firmware was 910F. Either i want. How to make it work with CM12.1 or with 910F firmware? because it is also not letting me install the 910F firmware through Odin.
Please somebody reply soon
Thanks
Hello
I dont know if this is the correct place to post(please correct me if so )
I have a SHV-E300L with its imei and baseband null (got it for cheap just to look into this case)
previous owner told me it happened without him doing anything but by the phone itself
Phone is not rooted. So no efs backups.
I have read that you can Force write the imei code if you know it?
What about the baseband?
What if i convert it to international version ? (i9500/i9505)
Or
Is it posiible to swap a motherboard of a i9500(idk the model no but i need 4g)
and the usb also?
it will cure the imei and baseband right? (since the motherboard carries its own?)
Please help me
Im just a newbie to the s4 I have a S2 and ive rooted flashed reflashed and stuff
Thanks All
Boot into download and verify the model number. Then go to sammobile.com and flash the latest stock ROM using Odin.
You can not convert a phone from one model to another model.
i got the galaxy s5 , there's verizon written on the back but my sim card(which is not verizon sim) works fine. for which i assume its unlocked.
there's written model: smg900v on the back
but in settings it shows g900f, which one is it?
for the record, the phone has already been opened and repaired once so its safe to think that the guy who repaired changed the board. but idk , i just want to install a custom rom but im afraid ill brick the phone.
thanks for reading. please help if u cab

In the settings / about the phone the info is taken from the build.prop phone located in /system partition. So it tells you what firmware version you have in the phone but not necessarily what is the real phone model.
If your phone was not repaired (motherboard replaced) it would be easy - you should just follow what is written on the phone's label.
But currently you don't know what you really have inside - best is to ask service what they really put inside.
1. Verizon S5s are unlocked.
2. Odin mode always says the truth (photo 1).
3. How do you think which phone model I have (photo 2)?
i got it, it was g900v , when in odin mode it said g900v so i installed an odin update for g900f and odin rejected it , but when i installed using an update file for g900v i successfully updated to marshmallow and odin allowed it this time confirming its g900v ,and after update it said g900v in settings(Build.prop)
Same problem here g900f on g900v
Hello there.....I am quite having the same problem...did you manage to flash any custom rom meant for g900f not g900v
