hello i have a problem with a messenger and snapchat and facebook when arrived new notification pop up head in note 3 near front camera, i dont know how exacly to tell, so i press on notification and not open, just show. what i can do it's slide to turn off, it helps when i reboot phone.. and about just 6 hours, and problem is countinued. help. srr for my bad english. not helped, wipe/data/factory/reset and wipe/cache. i flashed firmware lollipop, and nothing, so why doing note 3? i never had the same problem before today.

hi. i got my Note about weeks ago. i got it imported so cant get any warranty claim what so ever.
last night i was on tomshardware website and looked at exactly this page of gaming monitors. i tried to load the desktop site but it didnt.
i scrolled down to the bottom as everyone does. and i saw this issue for like 2 seconds, and then it said that browser has stopped. then it was ok.
now, today i woke up in morning , and out of no where, after like stopping my alarm, my Note 4's half screen started flickering and the image got stuck there.
then it stopped on its own.
now i went to Samsung test menu with *#0*# and checked that the screen test is ok, spen test is ok and everything is ok.
i started a game, and it game me that flickering again. what happens is like this . i dont have a camera to capture it, so thats why adding these images.
IT HAPPENS JUST LIKE THIS BUT ON MY DEVICE ITS THE LEFT SIDE, EXACTLY HALF OF LEFT SIDE OF DEVICE
i took the screen shot and its not the software. it shows all fine.
it stops when i rotate the screen and then happens again on its own, especially in games.
i know its ****ed already, but its sunday and markets here are closed, so as a last option im asking you guys is there any solution?

Ever since i upgraded my note 4 to 5.1.1, I noticed that the GPS/location icon isn't working the same way. I'm not sure if it is broken, or if this is visual design change.
Before, It used to be an upside-down teardrop with a blinking dot in the middle. When "lock" was achieved, it would stop blinking and go solid.
Now, All I get is an upside down teardrop with an empty hole in it. The blinking dot, never shows up. I'm wondering if I received a bad flash from verizon...
Is this something that is now normal with note 4 and touchwiz on 5.1.1?

Yes, the icon has changed, now for me it doesn't blink any more while a sat lock is being done, its like that static/fixed icon always, like you have a forever lock, stupid really.
Wow that's really dissapointing. I spent too much time trying to fix it.. Thinking I had a bad firmware flash. I finally came on xda to ask as a last resort. I'm surprised more people didn't think their gps/location was suddenly broken.

and i am not talking about the 1-2 second wake time i see mentioned elsewhere online, talking 20 or 25 seconds. Had my galaxy s7 edge for a month, and about 2 days in it started lagging to wake up and has progressively gotten worse.
When i get a text, i hear it beep, i look at the phone and have to wait 20 seconds before the screen lights up and shows the notification. If i pick my phone up and hit the button, I have literally counted to 25sec before it come to life. Very annoying when you are trying to take a photo of something, or have to look something up.
I have turned off all animations, disabled SVoice, no help.. (i just hit it and counted 'one thousand, two thousand, three thousand, four thousand, five... and it came on).
Plus if you hit power button 2x, it will wait 5 seconds, and then come on, and immediately turn off. when i hit power again, it will come on within a second.
Anyone else having this issue? its rather annoying.
- no hacks, no roms, nothing special, very few apps.
ALSO Auto brightness won't work and Direct call...smart alert and all the other s7 features
Already made a reset and called samsung services but none is fixed the problem
Update: Yesterday i don't know how it's fixed and the phone worked fine but when i played music and turned volume up and locked the phone it starts lagging

hmmmmmm well there are two options. you can hope that it`s a software issue and do a hard wipe of everything by flashing new software with odin or maybe you could try a custom rom because they tend to work better than the actually software made by the carriers, and if that doesnt work then it is for sure a hardware issue in which well no bueno

remove your micro sd card and phone will be fine
i don't have an SD card and i've never put one in it
Have you tried clearing the phone cache
Factory reset and delete cache in recovery , if it didnt fixed then last option is reflashing original rom by odin , and if still these issues persist , then its a hardware issue for sure. If you are still in warranty , send it in for a repair or replacement.
all the sensors are not working now exept fingerprint ... I cleared the cache but i didn't reflashed the phone with odin

Hello guys, i have p 10 lite since 3 years ago and recently I'm subscribed to the power supply, i mean i charge my phone and after 1 hour of usage the battery is empty and this happens 3-4 times a day. This is not the only problem at least I think so. I installed Facebook and messenger both on my tablet and on my phone and if somebody writes me on messenger i see the message on my tablet but for my phone appears to be unread message until someone else writes me. Idk if you can understand me. Also on my instagram i set a black background but when sometimes i open it it's white with only some parts of the screen black. Is it possible that my phone is affected by some malware or virus or its just the battery to be replaced? I made several scans with malwarebytes but no virus came out... Sorry if there is a similar topic i didn't check

alll is possible
try to make a firmware reset to factory settings but first backup your privat data.
you can check in menu what is drain your battery like a app or hardware like displkay and if nothing helps you can replace the battery with a new one.
