Hello,
I own a s7 edge (sm-g935f) on which i installed:
- SuperMan Rom (runing android 7 Nougat)
-TWRP (latest)
-SuperKernel (latest)
The point is that i'm trying to install nethunter but there is no nethunter kernel for Nougat..flashing the marshmallow kernel phone reboots 2 times then brings me to recovery..tried to apply nethunter patches on my current kernel and it works..phone boots just fine but it seems that kernel hasn't been modified anyway...kali works fine though but without kali kernel i can't use external wifi adapter so it's worthless...Would it be possible to me editing the nethunter kernel (With linux obviously) to make it work on Nougat?
Thanks and sorry for the bad English.

If on your phone have nougat you can't flash marshmallow kernel. You have to go back to marshmallow and flash the kernel

Hey guys,
I'm running the unofficial Cyanogenmod 11S on my Nexus 4 and just flashed Franco Kernel and am getting weird colours now. My screen also blinks at random times, anyway to fix this without factory resetting? Thanks
Flash your rom again without Franco kernel. It's the kernel that causes this behavior. Just re-flash your current rom/nightlie zip or whatever and it should be fine.

Wrong version of kernel used
I think most likely you have used the wrong kernel or not following installation instructions.
Whenever opt to install kernel, do look into the requirements:
a. for which version of android (4.4.4 ? 4.4.2? 5.0?)
b. what type of release of android (Cyanogenmod (CM/CAF)? AOSP? MIUI?)
c. installation method and steps (some kernels required to flash on top of stock kernel)
For now I would suggest that you find out the version and release of the android that you using currently and just flash the suitable kernel for it. The way i see it, you are using a cyanogenmod (CM), a CM compatible kernel will do.
Hi guys, i have a custom kernel to flash in order to make my Nethunter app work properly on a s7edge, but this kernel is based on 6.0 marhsmallow kernel, and now i have a 8.0 oreo android version, that means i cant downgrade to 6.0 becouse of the damn samsung bootloader.
Do you think it is possible to flash a 6.0 custom rom (i found on internet that bootloader check works on official rom firmware only) and then flash the kernel? Do you think it could work? Thank you
Hello everyone
I have S5 g900f 16GB on Stock marshmallow ROM and an unknown baseband
I managed to be run aosp 6.0 and 7.1 as well as 8.1 ROMs smoothly without any problems, but when it comes to 9.0 ROMs things start getting ugly. I get stock on the first boot screen showing Samsung Galaxy ST and then reboots to the same screen again
I tried dirty flashing and clean flashing too but with no luck I tried with and without gapps and root but again same result
ROMs I have tried are Los16 by haggertk and AOSP Extended
Please help.
Managed to have it working by flashing boeffla kernel 15.1 ???
Hi everybody
I ve a lg v20 h990n with a security patch of 2019 february .
1-is there a way to root it ?
2- what is the best custom rom
Thank you
Guide , use the latest twrp from here, and instead of the kernel from the guide, I'd use mk2000.
As for roms, H990s don't get too much attention unfortunately, but to start I'd just grab this stock flashable zip to get back to a recent version of oreo. As for proper custom roms, Lineage 15.1 is pretty solid, though the second screen doesn't work (its set to stay blank), I recommend using Gamma kernel with Lineage 15.1, while Lineage 16.0 is still kinda early, but is getting more stable slowly.
I got this old tablet from my dad and wanted to upgrade it, I was able to install AOSP 7.1.2 Nougat with TWRP 3+ and pico GApps, but I don't have enough / system folder space to install some features, I just want to increase it from 560mb to 1024mb, can anyone help me?
You can provide me with links to the rom

How did you manage to install the rom, do you have the files or download links necessary to perform the installation?
Hi, I recently installed oreo 8.1, kernel 4.4 on mine with pico gap, still have a lot of space on the device. I found it to be faster than with the 7.1.2.
Hi mcidclan
You said <quote> installed oreo 8.1, kernel 4.4 </quote>.
What ROM did you install?
So this thread is dead and I'm still looking for this custom Android 8.1 ROM...
Does anybody else have seen it?
