Best buy pre-orders!

Who else ordered a VZW phone from best buy? either on contract, monthly, or full price?
I did full price and the site said it will be delivered on 3/11/16, release date. i had two CSR reps confirm this via both live chat, and email.
then, some reddit users are saying their reps saying it may not even ship UNTIL the 11th, meaning we may not get it until 5-7 days AFTER release date! this is absolutely ridiculous, so when I emailed back, they stated that yeah, it could either be there the 11th, or later. wtf? come on best buy. i've never pre-ordered from them before, but every other store gets you pre-orders ON release date.
i was going to do in store pickup instead of shipping, but apparently in store pickups aren't even guaranteed when you do a pre-order! you could get there and the s7 might not even be in stock!
man, i have elite status through best buy rewards too, so you'd think i'd get SOME kind of preferential treatment! hmm.
so share your stories!

I ordered full price. Ordered the first 7 minutes site went live on Feb 23. Curious if anyone else's preorder has changed status now that tmo, Sprint and att have shipped or are shipping.

mine is still as processing.. and just says pre ordered, along with my gear vr and sd card. pending charge on credit card since day one tho... but isn't finalized yet.

Same here. Pre ordered on Feb 27th.

My credit card showed an authorization amount for my purchase for several days but Best Buy let it expire without billing. My order status still shows "awaiting authorization" as well. (I ordered on release day)

wtf. mine shows awaiting authorization all of a sudden. what the hell is best buy doing?!!?
so now there's TWO pending charges of the same amount on my account from best buy. one from the day i pre-ordered, and one from today. what's going on? why two charges?

Same I ordered 2 yr contact and says shipping March 11th but who knows. I hope I have it March 11th but doubt it.

best buy is calling people to pickup in store orders tomorrow..so they better ship it tomorrow!

mine is still as processing as well

so, i just talked to a rep on CS. he told me at first that i should have it by the 11th, then said, hold on, and checked into my status saying that it was requested to ship today, the 6th. he then said to just keep an eye out on the account to see if it ships.
oh and i just checked, the free SD card is updated to preparing for shipment, but the rest are still as pre ordered. he said they all have hte same status on his end though, so he thinks the site is just still updating. cool.

Here is where I got the update.

nice same here. and my phone status changed to preparing for shipment. all 3 are ready to ship it seems. ugh wish I did in store pickup.. could have had jt today lol

I guess it helped that I got the Gear VR last year. I just put in my email: IMEI, WI-FI MAC address. The I uploaded a PDF copy(used Microsoft word) my receipt from AT&T.

I have a dumb question. I ordered from AT&T's website and part of the requirements for the promotion is to provide a receipt. I never got a receipt, just an email saying they got my order and that was it. Where can I get my receipt to provide??

I used my email order or receipt from AT&T. You have to take or picture or make it a PDF. And the Upload. The same thing we did for the GEAR VR last year.

For me I have a 360 and pebble time round, so I didn't see a need for the fit 2. But yea, the card seems to be the most popular.
Anyway, no movement on mine yet but glad to see others already have theirs otw.

I was just wondering if anyone has received an email for the remainder of their trade-in credit ($200 minus Trade-In Value of phone traded in). I traded in my Nexus 6P which was only worth $83 and I've yet to see any email about the remainder of the credit ($117). I'm on the phone with tech support now and they say the promotion ended back in November. I just don't remember seeing any email with a promo code.

Yes, October 16th....?. She is going to get back in touch with me soon to hopefully remedy the situation. I received the email for the headphones (already have them) but never received any email for the remainder of the credit.

I got a text not long ago telling me my trade in (worth $0) had been processed. Haven't heard anything since. (it's been months!)

Just contact T-force on Twitter or Facebook. They handle or find statue real quick. I never call 1-800 CS that much. They're not on same level or take forever for simple answers.

$100 Google Credit with Pixel 2 purchase

Cyber Monday deal from Google Store.
Going to have to give them.a call and see if they will give me the credit since I only received a week ago.

*Update*
I called Google and they won't just give me the credit. I have to return this Pixel and reorder. I guess it's no big deal for $100. Just seems silly on their part to now have a used phone.

I bought it Sunday, called Monday. I was told no. They can't refund or even adjust purchased phones after an hour from time of purchase. I now have a second pixel 2 coming and I'll be sending the first one back.

At least I know next time. Next Pixel release I'm not going to buy it until several months later. I could still return mine, however; I'm not going to b/c I'll be stuck with a lot of credit until next year.
I traded in my Pixel 1, so if I return the product the refund will probably not happen for a week in which they will refund the cash portion and re-apply my store credit from my trade in. If I were to re-buy it, I'd be out the immediate cost right now as the refund won't process for awhile so no prior store credit will be able to be used.
Next time I know. The trade in process was a disaster and you'd get more selling it independently. If I bought cash only then I'd do it, but the store credit complicates things.
Plus my Pixel 2 doesn't actually have problems so I feel like I won the lottery as it is LOL

i chatted and they gave it to me no problem. bought it on the 16th november. just got off chat about 10 min ago giving me 100$ credit after 30 days of use. (project fi).. and sending me an email for the google home mini. logistically thats just dumb. lets send a new phone out. pay for shipping pay for return shipping and still giving out the credit. makes no sense.

mine shipped on Cyber Monday, made.me mad as fk*. Bet they won't give me the credit. Seems like bad business, never saw it even advertised

They pulled this stunt last year, said there were going to be no BF/CM deals and then had something. I decided to hold off on my purchase for just that reason to see what they would throw out for cyber monday.

Yah, mine went from shipped Nov 28, delivery Nov 30-Dec 1 to Shipped Nov 30, Delivery Dec 4-5. Wtf Google.

I just got a tracking number too. Looks like it is shipping overnight, arriving tomorrow. So I guess that isn't too bad - even if it is 2 days later than they originally said.

At least your getting overnight (granted you paid extra).
They should be doing it for free since they are now 4 days after my original delivery date.

Ordered it on cyber Monday night and checked status today that it was delayed. They didn't provide a new delivery date, just that they it was delayed and I would receive an email when it's shipped.
Does anyone know if it's because they are trying to process all the orders they received on cyber Monday or is it an issue with limited stock?
I would prefer the former explanation rather then limited stock, since it could be quite some time before it actually ships if that's the case.

I don't know for certain, but strongly suspect it is because of cyber Monday orders.

Did they really get hit with more orders than they could handle? I just have such a hard time imaging that this phone is selling so hot they can't keep up with stock.

I don't think it is a stock issue, rather a fulfillment issue. And yes, I think they got enough orders Monday that it slowed down getting them all out the door.

Anybody had any trouble with redeem promotion after you received phone. I didn't choose at checkout because I wasn't sure what I wanted. Now when I go to redeem page it checks my phones imei number and says its not eligible.

Nope. I just redeemed mine about 1hr ago. Used it to get the bud live. It's already processed and I should receive it by the 27th.

I am curious about the $200 promo, Tmob said they were not aware of it, but I have 15 different emails from the Samsung.com pre order sign up that talk about a $200 promotion..... maybe it was only if you actually placed the order through Samsung.com which is shady..... but oh well.

im having trouble, im having out of normal issues. it may of got lost in the ether. used it at check out. fedex delivered my goodie somewhere else, got the item refunded, hoping the credit is refunded as well. tryin to explain it and get and answer if ill get ther credit back from customer support is impossible, they dont seem to understand the question

I'm having the exact same problem. They have escalated my issue to a higher tier of Samsung support. Pretty crazy that it's this difficult to get them to give you the credit they promised.

I did a chat with them on the Samsung Shop app as there are bad waiting times on the phone these days, but yeah, you need to make them aware of the issue

Hmmm....checked this morning and I noticed I have another $100 to spend. I probably will get two uv sanitizer

After chatting with support, I uninstalled then reinstalled the app, then it showed my IMEI as eligible.

Support ended up telling me that I would be receiving an email within 14 days of delivery.

Copy the IMEI by long pressing in the phones about info screen. Paste that into the submission form. You might have a similar character messed up.

I ordered mine on the 21st of August. Has anyone tried to get promo after the preorders?

Redeemed my Buds Live on the 21s when my Pre-Order arrived, zero issues. I did see (repeatedly) that it's only the first 15,000 people that get the promo, though.

how fast do you get the $150 credit? i seen some say you just use the store app and buy products and it takes from the $150 credit. Mine doesn't look like like i got any credit yet if thats the case. Samsung sent me an email saying i was approved for the promotion, but i haven't seen the credit yet or notice that i got one.

Im not sure how to use my 150 credit, i already have the Buds Plus, is it worth getting the Buds Live as well? I'm thinking of using the Plus for working out and the Live for traveling or commuting.

I just talked to one of the representative said it could take up to 2 weeks to get your $150 credit

Took 2 days to get approved. Then took about 2 days to receive the email. Was the same for 2 phone redeemed from 2 different Samsung accounts.
