On my T-Mobile variant, there is a persistent notification for wifi calling. Is there anyway to remove this without turning off the feature?
I would also like to know. Its annoying as hell
go into the wifi calling options and choose to prefer cellular instead of wifi, at least then its not there unless you need it. there is no way to remove it (when its on) w/o root.

Since sprint has such a horrible network (just bad, no like worse than your thinking...like really bad) in the past I've really liked having wifi calling on previous galaxy phones b/c my work has wifi, but I get little to no signal from sprint. However on my 6P i couldn't find the setting at first but can search settings for "wifi" and find a wifi calling page that has on/off toggle. This toggle is not found anywhere else (phones settings/wifi settings, etc). If i toggle it on, it toggles back off with no errors/warnings 5-10sec later.
Any one got any idea how/if its possible to get this working with sprint?
I can not find the option to turn this on in the Settings menu unless I search for it. After searching & selecting it, I can enable WiFi Calling. Unfortunately as soon as I leave that screen the option turns off. Can anyone else get the function to remain turned on after leaving the selection screen? I am using a Tmobile SIM card. Also on Z.A.D's ROM v3
Two topics?
T-Mobile WiFi Calling hasn't been added yet.
Since I'm using straighttalk's verizon sim, I don't have HD calling, which means when I get a call, my phone loses data connection to take the call. This disconnects me from the internet.
Any ideas on how to disable incoming calls? Would seem like an easy fix, but I can't find a solution at all.
Use tasker or macro droid
Delete all your Friendships ?
force LTE only. so your phone wont switch to 3g or 2g it will only use 4G. https://forum.xda-developers.com/v20/help/how-to-force-lte-lg-v20-t3660122
whenever my ls997 (devdigital rom zv7, their rom thread is closed) (on sprint network) wakes up, it is automatically connected to data/LTE first, then i have to wait for it to connect to wifi.
is this normal behavior?
should i be concerned?
thoughts?
also, i dont get text messages unless my data is turned on. i have an unlimited data plan with sprint. i know i dont have to turn my data off, but i thought i should atleast get text messages when data is off (wifi is on), since it shouldnt be using data anyway.
I can't seem to find any settings in the call settings or settings,I just want to verify it's actually on. Does anyone know how to turn it on and turn it off?

i dont have the volte option under network settings either but it is working. i think the option is automatically enabled based on your sim card settings. i am on verizon.
There's no VoLTE toggle anymore. You're forced to use VoLTE on tmobile. Testing it is easy... just make a call. VoLTE means voice over LTE. If VoLTE was unavailable you'd be unable to make, or receive calls. The handshake would fail.
With 2G/3G towers being converted it sorta makes sense to prevent 2G/3G calls.
