I wanted to download sixperience 7.0 but the thread is closed due to GPL violation and links are removed. What does that mean? And when will it be back? I don't just want the links I want the info please!

The SIXPERIENCE V7 thread is available through another forum (written in another language). A simple Google search would do.
As we know,e7 can flash miui rom,which is from iuni u2.And i dont know whether there are bugs or not.If there is no bug,perhaps you can have a try to flash the stock rom for iuni u2.
I dont know if it will harm your phone or not.I f you are interested in it,just have a try.

sorry,i dont have e7 but iuni u2,which is simaliar to gionee e7.and my device have 3GB ram working well with this rom.
Besides,I dont know whether it would work or not.I couldn't even promise that this rom would do no harm to gionee.
I just find that gionee e7 doesnt have a stock rom and want to share it.if you are interested in this rom,you can backup your system and flash it.
Hoping it would work well with e7

i got iuni u2 rom known as V3 Rom and cheeked. i understand both device have same hardware. i installed rom v3 which one got from pittech forum website.Rom already modified for gionee E7(General Mobile Discovery Elite) thereafter installed, received official update from iuni 2 rom new update, while updating it gives error "its different device". if anyone recompile and port for gionee than will work only.

I think your english is very good.
Besides,the error "its different device" may be caused by the device check function in updater-scripte.
you can delete "getprop=. . . . . . " in meta-inf/com/google/android/updater-script.
Then you can flash it.
BTW,the official rom is battery-wasting and not so smooth.
most of iuni u2 users are using stockrom,miui or tos.

Whenever you upload Iuni2 official Firmaware upload 32GB/3 GB Ram firmware.
I read too many peoples using iuni's rom but problem is they are getting only 16GB storage space due to its source OS is 16 GB
recently you share link of Allview xtreme mini firmware for Gionee E7 ? what's new in this firmware ? its worth to try ?

I have found a ROM on chinese forum and installed it on my Mi Max Helium, it's working fine including video recording.
below are links to the chinese forum, I uploaded the files I used to Google drive with Links below:
This was tested on a Helium, I did not test on a hydrogen as I don't own one. but the forum claims it works for both. please try at your own risk.
On a Helium, so far I did not find any issue.

Sir there are two patchs provided in the link (videorecording fix and boot.img)
If u can take look at the new boot.img, u can tell us the difference and help helium users.
As you are the only real developer who actually provided separate ROM for both devices.
The rom is of the same by strix and posted by julien. you can find him on xda too. There's no need to post the rom here tho rather the fix can be posted on this section.
I did not use the boot.img. The chinese post said it's not mandatory.
I only flashed used TWRP the ROM + Video Recording Patch + Gapps...working great so far on a helium
Thanks OP. Most of the ROMs here are for hydrogen. I am sad that there is less support for helium users. You post is very useful indeed for helium users. Thanks!

what is the helium and hydrogen versions..what is the difference between these versions..which version has more custom roms like cm13 / cm14 / pac rom..
i prefer to buy version with more rom support..

16GB with 2GB RAM/32GB with 3GB RAM are Hydrogen.
64/128GB with 3GB/4GB RAM are Helium.
Currently Hydrogen has more custom ROM support.
