Hello from your CM12.1 port author

Hello XDA, this is xen0n, basically just another random developer from China who happened to buy a Meizu MX4 Ubuntu edition only to be disappointed by Ubuntu Touch's Chinese IME. As it's now holiday here in China, I finally found some time to introduce myself to the XDA community, as personally I'd rather write code than talk most of the time. You can follow me on GitHub: @xen0n as almost all of my work is open-sourced.
As for my CM12.1 port: actually I don't yet recommend international users to flash this because of known problems with FDD-LTE and UICC handling, but the problems are hopefully fixed. Next release would likely be some time after October 7th. Any generally useful suggestions are welcome, and I'll start updating my progresses here so you won't have to rely on a translator any more. Stay tuned!

Hi[emoji1] Thanks for your efforts too~ Your tutorial has already been introduced to the Chinese community, but the translations aren't of very high quality. I'll wait for a bit before doing the translation myself; that's another task on my TODO list! [emoji23]

One question . Could be posible to have some more differents roms for the MX4 ? ( Omnirom , MIUI , AOKP .... ) and port the meizu camera or OPPO camera for cm12.1 ?? thank u a lot man !!!

Hi, thanks for your work, one of the reasons i registered here is because of your post, commitment and my personal love for my MX4 (i just love the slightly wider resolution!

[TESTERS NEEDED] AOSP MM - new BL

yesterday i finally finished the first build of oneplus aosp mm (difficulties everywhere, but thats what i expected from oneplus ...). i'm not home until the upcomming weekend and would like to have some feedback regarding the system stability. I'm planning to extend this project further with up-to-date security patches (this one's from may?! thanks again oneplus for providing it.).
Why i do so? well, we need a good (aosp) base for advanced custom roms and a new stable system optimized for just oneplus devices.
My intention?
Spread the word of aosp to everyone ????
Requirements:
- you are running the latest oos 3.1.3 with twrp from blue spark
- willing to take some risks (even they are minimal and won't break your device)
- you know how to report bugs using logcat/dsmeg
- you are a flashaholic??

Any rom for ZTE BLADE A2 Plus?

Guys, Im looking for any rom for ZTE BLADE A2 plus. It crashes everywhere and everytime.
Did someone has the same problem? Maybe there is another rom that fix all mistakes?

Iam a new owner of an LE 2 x527.
I cant find any dedicated x527 roms but only x526...can i safetly install an x526 rom on my x527?
Iam on 16s and would like to update to 19s...
The international version dont seem to have any "system update app" so i guess ill have to update it manualy..

Sorry For Late Reply But Yes
All
X520 x522 x526 x527 are same device
you can flash, there will be no issues
only difference is modem, language &Some Apps if you have any issue related to networks (you wont be but just in case )you can flash modems provided in above link
you can see on the above link there you can find more interesting roms than stock

Thank you for your reply. However i did find a rom that was supposed to be x527 stock .19s on leeco.re , flashed it and all is fine.
Now we are all waiting for 20s or even 21s to be released.
Thanks for linking to all the custom roms also but ill think ill stick to the stock roms until LeEco stops supporting LE 2

so, a x522 (S3) can be converted to european LTE bands by flashing one of the modems from this download link (http://eu.host.erwanleboucher.fr/?dir=codeworkx/lineage/s2/modems)? Which one of this 4 is for europe?

Its due to poor INTERNET QUALITY
try to connect it with ZONG or minimum 8mb internet connection (Over WIFI ONLY).
i got the same problem but tried again and again and got the update latest 21S package.

So i have the X522 SnapDragon US Version.
It´s cames with an ShopRom or Indian ROM. so i patched it to the EUI 5.8 021S
So what i can do for Updating?! The OTA say every time.. no updates.. but i wont 5.9

HERE is the fastboot link.
HERE is the recovery link.
You can use either one either another but i suggest to use the fastboot one with MiFlash...
You can see the web how to do it without loosing the internal storage...
OR... if you want to wipe the internal storage, remember to backup everything important...

Don't forget to go to i.mi.com , sign in with your mi account and remove your Mi Note 2 from there. In this way, the buyer will not encounter any problems with MIUI ROMs
