Just make sure you use 64-bit version of ADB when you are in 64bit OS.
I got mine worked after changing adb to 64bit version.

It's been a while since i log in here.. kinda forgot..
But try this : http://adbdriver.com/documentation/how-to-install-adb-driver-on-windows-8-10-x64.html
Download the latest ADB and fastboot binaries directly from Google. It sounds like you may be using an old version that couldn't handle large files.

It's probably your environment settings. Download the sdk and make sure your PATH has the extracted sdk folder location in it. I'm using windows 7 64-but ultimate, and did have a few problems at first, but everything is great now.
Also, I installed the Java Runtime Environment on my machine because I was developing an android app and I need it to run files within the SDK (like to make an emulated sdcard). You may want to install the JRE and add that to your PATH as well.
Google HTC sync x64 drivers. I installed a few weeks ago and had no issues with adb today.
oh sorry i thought thats what you meant
installed the HTC 64 bit drivers and still no go I cannot even use htc sync
I had a problem getting the device to work in cmd with xp64. I had to make sure I had a working ADB driver. One blog by a guy named Chris Bunney said to use PDAnet's driver. Basically install the 64 bit version of PDAnet in order to get the driver and then uninstall if you're not going to use it (but make sure you have the driver set up first). If you've already got a driver installed, go to the driver and manually pick "HTC Dream Composite ADB Interface" as the working driver for the device. Again, this is how I got it working on xp64 not sure how it'll go for windows 7 64 bit.

Did you use the updated driver from THIS link? Beyond that I have no other idea what to tell you beyond putting the android sdk in the root of your c: drive.
I just tried this on my girlfriends laptop with 7 x64 pro (completely fresh), and had no issues.
I had the same problem, this guide and some googling got me up and running quickly.

do i need to install the full sdk to get abd to work on my 7 x64 install?
No, just use this link from drewden123 - finally working solution:

Hello,
Just an average XDA noob speaking here. Reason i'm creating this topic is because I'm having problems getting the ADB composite drivers right. Previously I've rooted a HTC Hero without any problems, but with my Huawei U8800 Ideos X5 I just can't fix it, I searched in all corners of the Internet. Below are my specs.
- Android 2.3.5
- Unbranded
I've also tried to root with SuperOneClick and by replacing the boot.img, but I can't get it to work because of the drivers.
When I get to recover mode (the pink/purple screen) it isn't showing me the IMAGE folder on my computer. Also tried to install new drivers for the ADB composite by using the H:/Mobile Partner disk on my phone but that isn't helping either. It says their isn't any new hardware found in the folder, but as you can see on the image, there are still exclamation marks. I Also uninstalled the drivers a few times and tried to re-install them but that isn't working neither. Firstly my phone was recognized as an Other device > Ethernet Controller in the device manager screen. But that was possible to solve by browsing to the H:\MobilePartner\Drivers folder.
By the way, when in recovery mode plugged in the computer, it shows me two drivers called "HUAWEI TECHNOLOGIES". I can't seem to find a good driver for those, they also show the !-mark.
Any help will be appreciated! :good:

maybe you can try to install this driver from huawei.. it worked for me..

What's the best way to do that? Just delete them from the device manager screen and letting them re-install automaticly by the phone? Or just download drivers from the internet and install it manually?

if u r doing manual driver installation, then its best to disallow auto-installation by windows..
delete all instances from device manager, or u may use an application called "USBDeview" to remove the usb drivers.. and i think this second way is probably doing it more cleanly..

Thanks man, gonna try that tomorrow after school.
Will keep you updated.
Sorry for the late update, forgot about the topic... I threw away all the drivers, got the pinkpurple screen and connected to my pc. It's now missing this drivers when connected, Windows can't install them itself. Check the printscreen below.

Ok ty, I started over, deleted all the drivers and let Windows install the drivers themself. Still not working. I find it very strange why Android Composite ADB Interface pops up 4 times in the device manager... As you can see, he installed one by himself >> https://(w)(w)w.dropbox.com/s/lttgky3qozhraf9/kak4.png
I'll try your method.
So running into a problem. I have downloaded and installed ADB but the version installed is 1.0.32. And my computer doesn't find any devices when I type adb devices.
Is this because I need a later version of ADB and if so any clue how to install it on Ubuntu? I have searched the WEB and can't find it.
Cheers!

Thanks DrakenFX for trying. I had already looked at that one. I looked some more and I guess Ubuntu has been having some problems with MTP. The answer for the problem is found at HERE if anyone is running into the same issue.
I use linux as well, but instead of installing the whole Android development kit, I went for the leaner, no-install-required platform-tools, which is the linux equivalent of "Minimal ADB and Fastboot". You can download it directly from Google here: https://dl-ssl.google.com/android/repository/platform-tools_r23.0.1-linux.zip
Unzip it, open up a terminal in the folder, and type " ./adb devices "

Just to document this in case it would benefit someone else: I have been trying everything I could find on the net to get my A7 recognized by adb devices. The list always came up empty. Yet, on my windows 10, adb devices for my A7 worked. And my htc m7 on ubuntu was also recognized. Finally, I removed the famous 51-android.rules (which had a line for my A7 but not for my m7; on /etc/udev/rules.d) and then adb devices showed the A7.
EDIT:
The day after having written this, I lost the device again: adb devices no longer showed the A7. Again tried everything with no success. Then I downloaded the Android SDK, which comes with version 1.0.39 of adb. Ran that and it worked. Go figure. So I still cannot really put my finger on what made the difference.
Update Detail
- Optimization game helper compass problem.

Revert
Reverted back to version 2.5.8 on my Acer Aspire R3-131T-C4TH. <--Luckily I had a recent BackUp.
The system was very very slow. <-- Even the fade-in on the bootanimation took like 5 seconds.
Keep up the good work.

Can anybody help? When i boot from USB with PhoenixOS 2.5.9 created with Rufus i see only grub2 command line and no another interface. I tried both GPT and MBR modes for creating boot-USB drive. What I should do to install OS? Maybe I should type something into this command line?

How to install Phoenix OS 2.5.9 64 bit?
I want to install Phoenix OS 2.5.9 on an 5 year old Laptop (Acer Aspire 5733z) currently running Window 10 32bit.
My laptop has 64 bit processor Intel pentium p6200 and 2 GB ram.
My laptop can support and run phoenix os 64 bit version. But I have to install it from ISO file because 64 bit version has a x64 installer which my window don't support.
For safety of my files, i installed Phoenix os 64 bit from iso with window 10 in oracle virtual box. It installed and worked perfectually.(testing in oracle virtual box happened on another computer)
But now there is no option to boot window 10 in GRUB bootloader only Phoenix os.
Can someone help me please?
Thanks in advance!

No . Day to Day mobile OS are getting heavier too . Processors with 32 bit architecture can't handle that much load.
So , i think 32 bit version of phoenix os will now stick at old 1.5.0 lolipop version.
