Request: Galaxy s5 weather widget no root Please.

Hey guys i dont want to root my galaxy s4 mini and i want the accu weather with no root (original and works good)

I Scare i will root my BRAND NEW GALAXY S4 MINI phone, and something will fail and with root i will lose my insurance

If you want to root, I recommend doing your research to gain some confidence. But as long as you follow instructions (on a working method, of couse) you will be fine.
As for your warranty, if you don't run a custom kernel or recovery it won't void. (Only viable for some methods such as towelroot).

Woke this morning with option to update phone software. Delayed as I haven't heard of any updates. Any information on this update would be appreciated. Screenshot is of my phone’s current status.

You're currently on nb1 firmware. The latest is nc1. I assume that's the update. It's not a bad update, it is rootable with towel root and you can use safestrap on it.

Return to Stock Rom Help

I recently installed the Wicked X v10.6 custom rom, however I have no wifi and cannot seem to fix this problem. I would like to return to stock rom, but not sure how. I have the SPH-L720T OH1 model. Could someone provide me the correct procedure for this? Thanks

Did u flash the OH1 kernel for the 720T...available here

I did. I flashed Wicked-X-v10.6, then the OH1 kernel, the L720T Converter, SystemUpdatesFix, Settings and then a few others like the Vol Boost, ViperEnabler and Xposed-v65-sdk21-arm-arter-V5-generic.zip

Setup Odin on your PC, download the correct tar for your device from www.sammobile.com, flash tar to phone in Download Mode.

here in this picture the baseband is different, I searched the web for the the firmware didnt exist but instead I got this baseband
....and my device doesnt show updates or hotspot
...weirdest part is that somewhere it shows me this

Baseband is not relevant .
You require firmware not baseband .

So this means I can flash different roms with different baseband?

1. Install this APP.
2. Go to the tab: CSC Code and look for the Active CSC Code.
3. (with computer) Go to Sammobile and look for the 3 letters of your CSC (This will be the original and CORRECT firmware for your device).
4. Download, unzip and flash it via ODIN.

Help with bootloader unlocking (sm-w900w8)

I want to get a custom rom but im pretty new to bootloader unlocking....i know my phone has it locked because Kingo root was removed on reboot BTW my phone is a note 3 from canada AKA sm-w900w8 (sorry if i posted in the wrong place this is my first time here at XDA)

If it's really locked, don't you think that by now there is tons of info on the web ? The phone is not from yesterday.

Why don't you Read the N900w8 ??? Thread in general section or search XDA .
Bootloader locked sorry I know nothing about that on your model are you sure you have the right model .Boot to download mode to check model .

The Canadian Note 3 sm-n900w8 does not have a locked bootloader. For a custom ROM, flash TWRP and flash the ROM from TWRP.
The phone doesn't support fastboot commands.

Thanks for the heads-up. No wonder when I tried to install ADB & Fastboot, the installation couldn't be completed. Now I can root with CFAR and install TWRP on my Canadian Note 3 SM-N900W8 with confidence. :good:
