Just flash the latest n9005 software file (you can get it from Sammobile) and flash that

Wont it affect my phone like brick my phone or something else? (kinda noob in flashing)

FAQS and GUIDES.are stickied learn the basics .
Baseband is not relevant .
You require firmware not baseband .

So this means I can flash different roms with different baseband?

1. Install this APP.
2. Go to the tab: CSC Code and look for the Active CSC Code.
3. (with computer) Go to Sammobile and look for the 3 letters of your CSC (This will be the original and CORRECT firmware for your device).
4. Download, unzip and flash it via ODIN.

Thanks for the instructions, will try it when I get home

Flash CF-Autoroot with ODIN... It takes literally 5 seconds and doesn't (potentially) share your device information with China...

Hi mate,
but you want root without tripping knox?
if yes, you can't do it because you are on 4.4.2 know just you said.
but if you don't care about the warranty void and still knox 0x1,
go ahead and follow the advice of @ultramag69.
find CF-Autoroot and flash it with ODIN, it's the fastest and easiest mode to root your device.
and if you want flash custom roms, look for CWM or TWRP compatible recoveries to do that.

Aaah i see, so there is no change for the last one.
Does this firmware have the extra large spacing in the multitask window/blurry Wi-FI icon as well? I think there has been a DPI porting issue with the French build.

Hello,
I am trying to flash the official kitkat firmware but I saw on this website:
http://m.ibtimes.co.uk/n7100xxufnd3...ficial-update-available-galaxy-note-2-1446096
the update is for baseband N7100XXUFND3. But I have the baseband N7100XXUFND3. Is it a problem if I flash this update and is it possible I get some problems with signal after flashing? Thanks in advance,

Help me figure this out

Hey I just bought my galaxy note 4 from my country's carrier yesterday and it started with lollipop right out of the box and it had some issues like old galaxy apps which wouldnt update so I did factory reset and solved that out. I find it not normal that it wasn't running kitkat. And I also noticed that my basedband version differs from my build number. What does this mean exactly? Also there is a section at the bottom of my about device which says configuration version not available. Please good ppl help me out to figure this out. And just to repeat, the device is bought from the official carrier's store. I'm applying screen shots .

Hi man just do a firmware reset, go to sammobile.com, dowload your latest firmware, download also the .pit file associated to your model, flash with odin, add to that one or two factory reset then you're done !! :good:

How to Undo root and accept latest updates

I just got a phone back I rooted for a family member two years ago solely for the purpose of obtaining hotspot. It has stock rom.
What info can I give you that will enable you to point me in the right direction to uproot and sell without issue?
I've been away from this kind of of stuff for a couple of years.

Thanks for the tip, just now getting around to it.
Are you saying to go to the firmware section and download the latest firmware?
Isn't there something I have to check , like making sure the PDA matches my baseband version or something?

No, because this will change your Baseband as well.
Thanks- just take the top one for sprint and follow the instructions sounds like. Appreciate the tip! Anywhere where this download is available at a faster clip?
