I have the same problem.. i flashed a too big bootlogo, and now phone does nothing at all..
Hope someone could give us some advice, because i have no warranty...
hi i have a jig which you can buy from ebay it puts my i5700 into download mode.still not sure if it will help because i was changing the firmware on mine and it just loads the boot screens. i have forgoton how to get recovery using the buttons,it allso does the galaxy s and s11
If you have flashed too big bootlogo, then end. Trully bricked.
USB jig doesn't work on Spica.
Samsung_saad: what did you do before brick spica?
Unbrick!!
addictivetips.com/mobile/one-click-unbrick-for-samsung-phones-having-odin-guide/
When I originally rooted my phone, I used Odin... I haven't tried this particular method for unbricking, but apparently it works.
Hope that helps
I tried the one click unbrick method. Wasent working for me.
In the original post it says that it works with all devices using Odin 3. Is a while ago, but i think to remember i was using Odin 2.x the last times for flashing.
Eaven it dident work for me, might still be worth a try for you.
The button combination for download mode is "volume down + camera + power"
As long as you can get into that mode you're safe and the phone is not bricked!
Hi to all, i really need some help here,.. I think i have bricked my phone SGY GT-S5360...the problem is its freeze on the startup logo and when i turn it off it turns on back without turning it on back, it turns on itself and the thing is i cant access recovery mode.. the worst part is, my phone cant be read by PC. Flash stock rom via odin
make sure you have samsung usb drivers installed
go into download mode (vol down home button power button)
connect phone to pc via usb cable
push volume up to start connection
open odin
put pda in pda
modem in phone
csc in csc
start
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2568853
you cant get into recovery because you have flash a kernel incorrectly or a kernel that is not meant for your device

--hmm i cant connect through odin.. im not sure if i have installed samsung usb driver.. Thanks for the help and ill get u updated to the outcome..
Dear all,
I have only recently lost my IMEI und tried everything to recover it. As a matter of fact I had made a backup before and tried to restore it and it didn't work. Today, I tried doing that another time and after that I wanted to reboot my phone but after it shut down it just doesn't boot up anymore. It shows nothing, only the black screen. It seems like it doesn't react to anything, I also tried to pull the battery but that also wasn't successful. I also can't get into Download Mode.
Any ideas what I could do?
Charge the battery or try another battery first .
I did both, I charged the battery but it didn't help and I also tried another (fully charged) battery, without success.
try to connect with kies 3
Kies doesn't recognize my phone.
Service centre repair your next step .
I'll let my carrier send it to Samsung and tell them that it crashed after trying to update to Lollipop via Kies, I read that this worked in some cases. If it doesn't I'll have to have it repaired.
What do you guys think about those "USB jigs"? Do you think those could help me with my problem?
YAAAAY!
Thanks to this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2625332 I was able to unbrick my device and by flashing a new PIT-File and a Stock ROM even my IMEI came back. I think my partition was somehow messed up because after flashing the PIT-File it began to work properly, but I flashed the Stock ROM to have a "clean" system again and installed Cyanogenmod afterwards with success.
So how does this fix work if the phone is unable to connect or power on ..
OP yes try the usb recovery jig to see if it boots to download mode .
Well, it did help. After I had put the Image on my SDcard and removed my SIM card I was able to boot my phone, this was the main issue. The rest was child's play, I flashed the PIT-file and a stock ROM and everything was working fine again.
flash new PIT file
hi you got to flash a new pit flie. maybe something damaged your phone boot. look in here

Sorry but i'm just a newbie here. Plz help me ... I'm having someproblem with my SS4 I9500 GSM only model. Just bought it a few days ago and yesterday after I root it with Kingroot everything still ok until I download the TWRP recovery on CHPlay. It show some kind of warning that could affect my SD but I ignore and have it done something to install the TWRP on my phone. After one time reboot my phone started to run real slow , super hot until hang itself and extremely battery draining ( about 25 - 30 % for one time boot till it hang and reboot ). I've tried to reinstall an Original Firmware but couldn't because I can't connect my phone with the PC everytime I tried to connect the cable my PC show the Code Err 23. Device not recognized. . I tried the factory reset but it still operated like that and there's no TWRP but the original recovery of android. Changed the cable , changed the PC , still nothing happened. Someone plz help !!!

Just flash your firmware from Odin using a PC, I had a similar problem in my tablet, it didn't had download mode either and that worked, try it.
When I connect it to Pc it keeps bootlooping and pc gives sound of connecting then disconnecting of hardware.

Turn off your device, keep your finger in the button until the device is off or pull off the battery, connect it to the PC and flash your firmware through Odin, at that moment I used the 3.70 i think but you can use the latest version it's fine, that should install download mode and the whole firmware if that doesn't work I'm afraid I don't know how else I can help, that's what I did and it worked

You are right I did it the same way and it worked for me too. I actually was thinking the phone was quite dead bur or wasn't, I just flashed the recovery firmware 4.4.4 Russian and if you ask me food the step by step procedure it was just like this:
1. I started the Odin 3.07 and connected my device to see is it was detected or not, my surprise the Odin catch it, and shown added and the port number was 18.
2. I just pulled out the USB cable from my laptop and loaded the BL file only to just flash the bootloader file and see what would happen, I was trying it bcz I was totally disappointed with the device i.e. Grand Prime 530H Duos. I also noticed that my device was not stable even with that black screen it used to restart after almost five minutes in that case. And I knew that in 5 minute I will just be able to flash BL file. The BL file was loaded on the Odin now and I inserted the USB cable again while keeping the vol down button pressed to my laptop when the Odin again found and connected with my device, I didnot take any more time to flash BL file.
3. As soon as i had not flashed all the SW therefore, my device didn't boot properly, and I thought it didn't work but when my device was connected to the computer I just listened the startup tone of the Android 4.4.4. From that moment I knew my device was not dead now so i had to select all four files from the recovery firmware of 4.4.4 and connect the device to odin even there was no sign of download mode, as soon i clicked the Start button i saw many things in the Odin which were good enough to see. after the firmware flashed the device got started.

Is your USB cable original is it working on other devices? And are you using a USB 2.0 port, that is very much necessary, for Odin and some other hardware/software environment applications. And you also must have Samsung USB drivers installed in your PC, you can also try all this process on some other PCs

Hello!
Yes, that USB works with other phones. And even not being the original one, it was working to transfer files before this issue...
It is a USB 2.0 port, and even when I go to "Device Manage" on Windows, it doesn't show any port with an unknown device or something like that...
Thanks!
