This is awesome!
Have you installed it? And if yes, is it working as it should work? Camera...?
Tried to install it using 3 buttons method, but it failed at 5%.
I'm on B161.
I just updated my vnsl21c432 to b370 from b170.
1. copy update.zip and updata_data_full to sd card
2. boot to twrp
3. flash both zips WITHOUT booting inbetween
3a (there will probably be an error about mounting data, there was in my case)
3b1 DONT BOOT and go to twrp > wipe > data > change filesystem > choose F2FS (was not an option in my case, so i just chose FAT)
3b2 change filesystem of /data AGAIN, this time back to EXT4
3c flash update_data_full AGAIN
4. shut down the device. DON'T BOOT
5. extract recovery.img from UPDATE.APP using Huawei Update Extractor
6. phone turned off, hold volume down and plug in the usb cable to boot into fastboot
7. flash stgock recovery you extracted at step 5 with this command fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
8. NOW BOOT into nougat
9. factory reset
Prior to factory resetting I noticed no apps were msising, BT, WIFI, camera all working.
Now I'm going to try and root it.

I was trying to update to Nougat . Flashed the update.zip file and another update_full_cn file. I did the mistake of flashing my regional cust file without booting first..
This is what I get when I try to flash system.img or cust from the stock B380 ROM.

I can flash twrp but can't boot into it. One stupidious thing I did was I rebooted my phone when the dload update showed up but it was stuck at 5%.
EDIT:I fastbooted the boot, system, cust and recovery from the B523 firmware but now it's stuck at Huawei logo.
Go to erecovery and factory reset.

First of all, thanks for your reply.
I tried what you told and the stock recovery comes up with the software install failed thing. No matter , How many times I flash twrp, the stock recovery comes up. I tried placing the B380 UPDATE.APP in the dload folder of the sdcard. Tried the same thing with nougat UPDATE.APP. Both times it says software install failed.
Did factory reset again and ahter the message your device is booting, the screen goes blank but stays on.
@gm007, I tried the stock recovery you posted but same result. How come I don't have factory reset? Does it has something to do with being unlocked.
EDITkay, by luck or something I got the WIPE data and cache option. I did both of them, But now it's stuck at your device is booting now.
If you were in EMUI 5.0, welcome to the club, until today I could not revert to 4.1 or 4.0, all I could do was make 5.0 usable. If so, you will have to use the boot, recovery, recovery2 and emui 5.0 system on the fastboot and then use the dload with the rom that "attached" your phone. I'm on AL10C17B523 and I can not reverse it at all, I've already accepted my burden.

If TWRP for EMUI 5 arrives then we can do something.
So is there something I can do? I copied the UPDATE.APP file of B552 firmware into the dload folder of the sd card and Did the dload update thing. It says incompatible software - installation failed. I think I can fix this, Just need some instructions.
I successfully downgraded to Kangvip b368. The procedure was as follows
First of all make sure you have nougat stock recovery .
Then download stock B320 , extract the update.app and put in the dload folder on the sd card.
Next do the dload update by pressing the 3 buttons.
Hopefully it will complete to 100%
After that do a factory reset. U may find that your bootloader is locked again. So unlock it, flash twrp and u r good to go. Flash Kangvip b368 through twrp and that's it.
Kindly Mark this thread as solved.

Hm yes this is Full. But I havent updater from B200 This is your screenshot?
I'm not rly good with electronics etc, my phone came with root access permissions via Security MIUI app so I installed SuperSu to manage it easier (MIUI app reqiured to manually check each app to allow access), no custom ROM or anything installed, the way it happened was
1. updated supersu from google play
2. entered supersu app,it asked me to update su binary
3. I clicked yes through recovery
4. it rebooted and got bootlooped.
It's stuck at the "mi.com" screen when turning on, can't go into recovery, fastboot mode only shows an image of Miui mascot without any fastboot options. I've followed some tutorials online and got the thing below from minimal adb.

Fastboot will show that android icon only.
No fastboot options will be available there.
Now you need to perform some steps to recover your device..
Note - Your data will be wiped. Also, remove memory card (if any).
Now let's start the process -:
Download MIUI Fastboot ROM file.
Here's the link..
1GB RAM model - http://update.miui.com/updates/v1/fullromdownload.php?d=wt88047_global&b=F&r=global&n=
2GB RAM model - http://update.miui.com/updates/v1/fullromdownload.php?d=wt88047_pro_global&b=F&r=global&n=
Also extract this file and put in C Drive.
Now turn your PC on..
And install latest Mi flash tool. http://api.bbs.miui.com/url/MiFlash
Turn your device off. By pulling battery. (Assuming that your device is in bootloop).
Go to fastboot mode (power + volume down)
Now turn your PC on.
Open Mi flash tool.
Connect your device.
Click on refresh button in flash tool.
Now, it will show some random numbers. (This is your device).
Now, select your ROM fastboot file which you downloaded and extracted.
After that, choose 'flash all' and click Flash..
It will take some time.
After that your device will be rebooted.
Voila! Your device is back to life!

I tried to flash a custom rom (MorfuZ) and after installation is complete, the phone reboot and stucked on black screen. I can't get to fastbook or recovery screen. The MultiTool software recognises the device. I tried flashing trough the ''Unbrick'' method and it seems the process is completed, but the phone won't boot. I tried to turn it up but even the screen is not turned on. I have no red or green led as the others threads says (yes I've read a lot of them). The only sign of life is that my PC detects it as "Fastboot2.0" and it's supposed that I flash cust, boot, system and recovery imgs but nothing happens at all. It sounds it's rebooting and the cmd also says that but there is no change. My phone is LATAM version (WAS-LX3). Already bootloader unlocked, installed TWRP and rooted (magisk). My laptop recognises the device the (prompts sounds when connected.)

If You still have TWRP and if you are on Emui 8 use HWOTA8 method, otherwise if you are on Emui 5 use HWOTA7 to flash your build. As you have already unlocked bootloader the first step in script will be automatically skipped.
Its very easy just follow my video tutorial. Instruction for HWOTA7 is on Serbian but you have instruction on English and some things are logical just view video.

Yes I understand u must use DC phoenix and test point method after that Hcu client to restore Imei, seriall. Dc phoenix and Hcu client are about 20 usd credit for 3 days. But for test point u must open the cover and on board find test point, conect it, plug usb and run Dc phoenix to restore all partitions. Its not so easy but phone could be fixed.

Hello,
I have a problem with my G6, i tried to install a custom rom this morning. At first i could get into twrp (melina one) and then wipe internal, system, cache etc. All went fine, then i tried to flash the custom rom, I got the cannot mount /system error. I've got that before so I went to the wipe menu, clicked format system and formatted it as something else to then format it back to ext4. But twrp got stuck on formatting it was looping, i then decided after 10 minutes to reboot the phone with a hard reset and then get back into twrp, but now i wouldnt get into twrp because it was just hanging on the splash screen of twrp. Ok no panic, i was in the twrp looping stage now, i then decided to format erase partition recovery and reflash recovery from melina again. That was successfull so i tried entering twrp: same thing happening the splash image hanging. I decided to flash the stock rom again and downloaded the correct KDZ file: H87020c_00_OPEN_EU_OP_0817.kdz i extracted this one from the lg bridge updater. The LG bridge software update failed 2 times after eachother because it could not "upgrade my phone". Ok so now i tried doing the LG Flash Tool:

}
didn't work after numerous tries.
and then the almighty flashtool which i got this error, no matter what .dll file:
So I can't reach fastboot anymoreI can access fastboot now( ive formatted system partition when i still got the chance so that should be ok now) and no recovery, but the computer detects the phone as the com port and firmare update screen.
When i plugin my cable to the wall it goes directly to the firmware update screen, when i power the phone off with the firmware hidden menu update and holding volume down or up while booting goes directly to firmware update screen. I dont know what to do at this point.
Ok so i got it further by downgrading lg flashtool. But it errors out everytime at system, i guess something is wrong with that partition?
And I can access fastboot mode now luckely.
Yo dude.
Don't panic....help is here.
Download this version of LGUP
Pick the Oreo .KDZ of your choice.
Attach your phone
In LGUP tool, select your .kdz that you want to flash
Then select "PARTITION DL" "Upgrade" NOT "Refurbish"
Then click "select all"
Then click start and the magic will happen

maybe i need the right DLL from you.
And i got the LG LOGO back after erasing and flashing system.img manually. But I cant get to recovery, when i answer yes to both questions i just get the firmware update screen.
I really don't get why such a simple procedure should go so bad and wrong...
Nobody can help? I need the phone urgent.
