Hello. Searched here and there for information pertaining to customizing the v20s battery icon to emulate the pixels icon but can't seem to hit on anything. I am referring to the white battery icon in the top right hand corner with the battery percentage inside of the icon itself. Thanks in advance.

need a rom with 3minit battery , witch requires a dev to mod the systemui.
Have you looked at the modcontrol app that is out?
it will flash the 3minit files, and a ton of extra mods, head over to that thread and download his modinstaller and modcontrol apps from the playstore. You need root as well. It requires you use the installer app to move the modcontrol app to system, and install the modded files, atleast for what you need is all the 3minit apps and resources, as well as the systemui

not sure what the pixel icon looks like but it wouldnt be hard to get it once you have 3minit installed.
it has like 4000 dif icons that are colorable etc, i dont doubt you could make a pixel bat icon off one of them.
Edit
just looked at a pixel icon, yes its just a stock AOSP battery icon, so yeah it has that. With or without % inside, and is colorable.

With 3minit you'll get close, but if you're wanting the stock android battery you won't be satisfied. Its not the same.

Hello,
I have searched, read, searched more, read more, I can only guess my feeble attempts in searching is incorrect.
Two questions:
Can I use multiple icon packs simultaneously?
I currently use Nova launcher and have an icon pack I like, but, I would like to add additional ones, but, not to overwrite existing ones?
Can you install the png files manually?
I have not found a really good guide for this.
Any help you be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Not sure I understand your first question about using multiple packs simultaneously. Do you mean just have multiple packs installed with the option to apply different ones at will? If so, just install Xposed Framework and Icon Themer Module, install your icon packs as you normally would, and they will all be available to apply via Icon Themer and can go between them at will.
Hope this helps.
Thanks.
The first question, I wish to use more than one icon pack at the same time, without each one clobbering the other.
I got the Xposed Icon Themer apk, as I already have the Xposed Framework install, and other Xposed modules.

If you use ADW Launcher, almost all of the icon packs for Apex, Nova, etc are compabitable with it.
Once you have more than one installed, when you double click an icon, click Edit on the little window that pops up, click on the picture of the icon, it will show you the selection of icon packs, click on the one you want to use for that specific icon, and then you can select any of the icons in the icon pack for that specific icon.
Not sure if that's what you meant by wanting to use multiple icon packs - it's what I do when I use ADW and a single icon pack doesn't cover all the icons. I just download a very similar icon pack and apply the main one to the whole phone and apply the other icons from the other icon packs individually to the icons that weren't covered by the original icon pack.

I'm guessing on your phone when you hit the menu key it doesn't show theme so go to settings/Home screen and it should be there.
Depends what you mean by theme. I am pretty sure the stock phone can really just change wallpaper and move icons around. With root access you can install the Xposed framework which allows much more customization which is probably what you want, and with custom launchers such as Nova or Apex you can also do wallpaper changes and run custom icon packs. But maybe the theme you saw was nothing more than some UCCW widgets, IDK since I haven't seen the one you are talking about.

The stock launcher on the G2 has a theme changer and comes with two themes that change icons, walls and the clock widget maybe more. So its basically good for changing icon packs and then just reset your wallpaper after you get the icons you like. Yes you can use Nova or whatever and customize icons to your hearts content but I prefer the LG launcher and I'm thrilled they added this.

Yea I love it, just wish it theme'd widgets but guess i will splurge on Beautiful Widgets/HD Widgets
(stock transparent clock-weather widget would be nice tho)
I'm on the at&t variant and I can't find the theme option anywhere either. I'm guessing they took it out. I can still change individual icons by holding the icon, tapping the purple brush that pops up, hitting Menu and selecting a theme I've installed from the previous thread and then they all show up for selection. This only works for individual icons though and will not help you change the app drawer button, which is the one I wanted to change.

Wow that sucks, makes no sense. I know carriers add bloat but didn't think they touch anything in a UI. This is the theme manager on the G2.

I've got nothing that says theme anywhere I assume it would be. Checked Home Settings and Menu on the Home Screen. Nothing. I'm really bummed about that. I wanted to change the app drawer button so badly. Damn.
Edit: going to try this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2447311

Edit 2: Some things changed, like the blank screen text, but others didn't like the ability to theme. Weird. Maybe that isn't ready for the at&t version of that mod.

I don't think just flashing yours would work. It might but the guy needed all the files for the models he was building the mod for from the devices he was building for. I think it would need a little more than just swapping it.
And I tried that mod. No theme ability on the at&t version of the phone. Still.

I believe the international and Verizon version have the theme chooser, along with the Korean version. It allows you to switch to the Marshmellow stock theme, and others to come in the future. However, I think its apparent that the At&t version is missing this functionality. Would it be possible to add it back in an APK?

You'd probably have to wait for a dev to add it to their ROM
T-mobile version has it.
There's an internal application I found with system tuner called home chooser, don't think its enabled though. Anyone with another carrier version know if this is what were looking for?

Obviously xposed doesn't work with lollipop because of ART. I used a few mods in xposed with JB that I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction to get working on lollipop. The main one for me is resizing the nav bar at the bottom because it is huge. The second would be 5x5 homescreen icons. And the third is a round battery icon with the percentage. Any way to impliment this into lollipop without xposed?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Well, you can decrease DPI value to 300 or a bit less, but this will make smaller anything.

For narrower nav bar, I use GMD auto hide soft keys. You need root, but it's easy with wugs nexus toolkit.
For changing the number of rows and columns of icons, I use Nova launcher. No root required.
Can't help with the battery icon, sorry.

Why don't you just use a 3rd party launcher to change the homescreen icon grid? The latest Nova launcher also makes it look like stock lollipop launcher

I personally found the best alternative to Xposed on Lollipop is the SimpleAOSP rom. It has a lot of the settings I got through GravityBox built in to the rom while still keeping the look and feel of the stock rom. Together with the recommended Stuxnet kernel, my phone hasn't ever run this well before. Super smooth and nice battery life. Pretty sure it has the feature you're looking for to change the size of the nav bar. Until Xposed is available on stock lollipop, I'm sticking with SuperAOSP.
The biggest thing for me was getting back DT2W/S2W/S2S since TouchControl is dead. Stuxnet only supports DT2W but SuperAOSP has the double-tap the status bar to sleep option.
After rooting and trying to install xposed, without much luck as I kept getting error 255. I was hoping someone knew of a decent app or similar way to change the status bar icons? battery icon mainly
TIA

I've found none for the entire status bar unless you're rooted so I'm using Battery Overlay Percent Key. It defaults to covering up your battery icon but you can move the battery icon anywhere you like. There is a free version but you get more customizations with the key which is pretty cheap. Oh there is one app for the status bar I know of called Omega but I found it to be terrible.

Odd that there isn't more launchers that do it, but there is one launcher that does have built-in status bar editing, CleanUI. It's a IOS look alike that previously was called Espier Launcher. I've tried it and it's not too bad, but it seemed to use more battery than Nova, what I normally use.
Hey Everyone,
Followed the instructions from here (https://www.xda-developers.com/add-custom-buttons-to-nav-bar-on-samsung-galaxy-s8-galaxy-s8/) to install Custom Navigation Bar on my AT&T S8.
Had no issues until I tried to add in custom pixel icons to replace the standard system ones using this guide (https://www.xda-developers.com/how-to-change-your-nav-bar-icons-or-re-arrange-the-buttons-without-root/)
I downloaded the icons for a 1440p display and got them to show up, replacing the standard icons but every time I touched one of the navbar icons I got a system UI crash. Anyone know if this is an issue with using incorrectly sized icons or if it's just an issue with icon replacement in the navbar on the S8 right now?
I hope that was just a minor issue as i also would like to have the Pixel NavBar on my S8. The S8 navbar could not be seen on some good wallpapers and i really like to have the Pixel look in this phone. Someone uploaded the S8 NavBar, maybe you could copy its format.

I haven't had any luck yet but I'm not an expert, I can follow ADB instructions easily but don't know enough to troubleshoot myself unfortunately. I'm hoping it's just a matter of time before someone figures it out.
Not working on Touchwiz (S8 is partially supported) think that gives it away in the thread of the app
