Install this kernel for fast and smooth processing and better battery life
This is not a custom kernel . This is only the kernel backup of Xperience Rom .I have tested all the available nougat ROMs for merlin , Xperience rom is the fastest but it has many bugs and have very few tweaks. So i decided to install this kernel on Other roms
Currently I am using RR rom . it is faster and smoother than it was before installing this kernel
You can use this kernel on any nougat rom for merlin
I have tested it on Aex and RR .Working Fine
Features
1. Double tap to Wake [Use kernel adiutor to enable it]
2.Swipe right on navigation to turn off Screen
3.USB fast charge
4.Sound tweaks
5. and much more
Download Xperience Kernel Backup here
Edited
Download Magisk Zip here
Edited
How to install ( read carefully)
1.Download the xperience rom backup file from above link
2.install flashify from play store
3.open flashify and provide root access
4.Click flash boot image ,select the file, click Yup.. to flash
5.After flashing click back and from the options reboot to twrp recovery and install magisk.zip(we need to install the magisk.zip because after installing this kernel you will lose root .so install magisk to get root access again)
6.from twrp recovery reboot to system
7. You are done
8. Note : DT2W is disabled by default .you can enable it using kernel adiutor
If anybody want to test it on Osprey
Ask me .I can help

First of all I would like to say that this is a revised version of an earlier guide which focused on xposed together with goodix. Since Magisk 11.1 was released we can now have systemless superuser and xposed on this rom without much trouble. I will also list steps for F2FS on data/cache but I won't be doing a guide for those of you with roms without Radon kernel built in because it is a pain in the you know what and I already laid out the steps in a previous guide.
So, first of all here are the things that you will need:
Links at bottom of page
a) Any version of Resurrection Remix 5.7.4 for those of you using EXT4.
b) My version of Resurrection Remix FK 5.7.4 with Radon built in for those of you using F2FS
c) gapps
d) Supersu 2.79SR3
e) Magisk 11.1 zip
f) Magisk Manager apk or internet access to download from Play Store
g) Xposed v87 johnwu edition (systemless)
h) Xposed material apk
i) Radon kernel installer
j) goodix patch for goodix fingerprint users
k) Arise swansong installer (I am using v2.90 at the moment without issue)
For those of you using F2FS follow these steps first:
Make sure you are using my version of Resurrection Remix 5.7.4 with Radon built in. See above.
a. Using a F2FS compatible recovery such as Strix M4-0, wipe all partitions.
b. Convert data and cache to F2FS - in TWRP > Wipe > Advanced Wipe > Choose data partition > change filesystem > F2FS
c. Repeat step b for cache partition
d. Go to settings in TWRP and check "use rm -rf instead of formatting"
e. Continue to step 2a.
Now let's get to the steps to get this up and running:
1. If you are using EXT4 for data/cache go ahead and wipe all partitions and format data
2a. Install ROM + Gapps and reboot to system. Wait for setup screen to appear and reboot to recovery. Goodix users go to step 3. FPC users go to step 2b.
---------------------
2b. This step is only for F2FS users with FPC fingerprint sensor. If you have a FPC fingerprint sensor and want to stay on stock kernel you can skip this step and go to step 3. Install radon kernel then reboot to system. Wait for setup screen to appear and reboot to recovery.
---------------------
3. Install Supersu 2.79SR3 and reboot to system. Wait for setup screen to appear and reboot to recovery. (this step will block magisk from installing it's own implementation of superuser which currently does not allow a proper interactive shell in terminal)
4. Install Magisk 11.1 first and Xposed johnwu second using add zips. Reboot to system and allow setup screen to appear.
---------------------
If you have a goodix fingerprint sensor complete steps 5a - 5c. If not continue to step 5d.
5a. Reboot to recovery.
5b. Install goodix_fp_8.zip first and Radon 3.9/4.0 second using add zips (choose goodix). Reboot to system. Wait for setup screen to appear and reboot to recovery.
5c. Install supersu 2.79SR3 again. Reboot to system. (goodix patch will break supersu so this is necessary for goodix users)
----------------------
5d. Complete setup and install Magisk Manager from play store or apk.
6. Install Xposed material apk.
7. Done! For Arise audio continue to step 8.
---------------------
8. Open "AudioFX" app. Toggle the "on" switch to the "off" position.
9. Go to Settings > Apps and find "AudioFX." Click on it then click the disable button. Reboot to recovery.
10. Install Arise zip. Reboot to system.
11. Done!
Right now I have only tested a few things because there are so many options in the Arise installer. Don't use the "remove deep buffer" option because it presented issues for me and is unnecessary on this phone. Right now I am using Viper4Arise 2.5.0.5 with the default ICE audio configuration and default ICE preset. Everything else was skipped except the option to repair sd card permissions (why not?).
--------------------
Note: To pass safety net check install Xposed module "No Device Check."

TRY ON YOUR OWN RISK I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OF YOUR DEVICE.
This is for N910T/3 variants only
BEFORE YOU BEGIN YOU MUST HAVE TWRP RECOVERY INSTALLED AND YOU HAVE TO BE ON 6.0.1 MARSHMALLOW BOOTLOADER/MODEM (EPE3.EPG2.EPJ2.EPK2.EQB1) ANY 1 OF THESE WILL WORK.
INSTRUCTIONS.
YOU HAVE TO FLASH ALL FILES TOGETHER 1 BY 1.
1, Flash the rom
After flash rom your device might reboot automatically so dont worry just remove battery and insert again boot into twrp and complete rest of the files.
2, Flash the datafix.
3, Flash kernel.
4, Flash supersu.zip.
5, Flash all apps multiwindow.zip
6, Flash xposed.zip
Reboot wait 15 to 20 minutes on first boot.

For those who got problems with installation on v13.1 use the following guide it will help you all links below its from official sites not mirrors etc.
Steps for make sure you're not confused
1)reboot to twrp recovery or cwm
2)install magisk uninstaller zip
3)install unroot kenzo zip
4)install magisk v13.1
5) reboot device
6) install magisk manager if not installed automatically
7) attention before you use it keep your boot.img as a backup to restore it if you are not going to use a custom kernel read below the edit why thanks
Ps.worked perfectly on Nougat NOS release latest beta with radon kernel 5.1 hope to work on your ROM too
EDIT:When you use the nitrogen unroot zip in restore the nos kernel by Nougat version so on Miui and other ROMS of course if you dont use custom kernel take a backup of your current kernel just the boot part or just install the custom kernel like radon, agni after the whole steps etc sorry about that it just took me a while to find out cuz I just checked my kernel adiutor and I just saw the wild kernel of nitrogen on performance gov and it burned my hand almost xd
UPDATE:Try this unroot zip file first it doesn't going to mess with your kernel amd change it but if that doesn't work you have to do it with tge other way thanks for understanding :')

Do we really need this guide? Lol
I have installed superuser how can I replace it to magisk as safteynet check doesn't pass on superuser after Xposed installation.
I flashed Nitrogen 2 based on Orio in Redmi Note 3. How i can install / flash magisk .?
I root the same with Supersu
the module that is listed is download section of magisk will work in all phone or on the specific phone that is mentioned there?
links are down:cyclops:
I tried all methods which are there on site but each time same and only problem is coming that is my phone is not getting rooted correctly I tried so many times but when I'll check with root checker it says it's not rooted but I successfully unlocked bootloader but I can't complely root it, can someone help me?
What device do you have and what ROM are you running?
If you're rooting on the stock Motorola ROM, do you have TWRP flashed/booted, then flashed ElementalX? Afterwards, what root managers are you using? You could try magisk 16 or 15.3. However, if you've previously used SuperSU or another root manager, you may have to re-flash the original stock kernel (then flash ElementalX then root) to remove any remainders of the old root managers, else they may interfere with magisk to the point of the root not being stable.
I have Moto g4 plus XT 1643 and I tried to root with by using twrp latest version and lineage os 14.1 athene. The was working fine but my phone is still showing that this device is not rooted

What root manager are you using? The official Lineage OS (as of Jan 2017) does not come with a root manager, you must download and flash your own. You could either use the Lineage_SU_addon (you'd want the arm variant for 14.1) or magisk or SuperSU as a root manager.
I am new in this so I don't know that much details so can you help me by giving me link so that I can go through step by step and try to do what you are saying

Hi I'm new to XDA Forums, I was searching for posts about rooting my Moto g4 Plus. I would like to know Why we should flash a kernel before flashing SuperSU or Magisk ? Nb: I just only want the root access. Not in a plan to flash a custom rom. Thanks in Advance.

The stock Motorola kernel in stock Nougat ROMs appears to have anti rooting measures included (I think DM Verity?) If you attempt to root on this stock Nougat kernel, you'll likely soft brick/bootloop your device.
A custom kernel (e.g. elementalX v2.0.1 for stock) does not have these anti rooting defences, so it's safer to root with magisk. I would recommend magisk as super SU hasn't been updated in some time.
It appears that this need to flash a custom kernel before rooting applies to Nougat stock ROMs; marshmallow stock ROMs and the Oreo soak test stock ROM appear not to require a custom kernel.
As an aside, custom kernels and root are not necessary to flash custom ROMs. The only tools you require are an unlocked bootloader and the correct TWRP. The kernels included with these custom ROMs may also have anti rooting measures disabled, so it's safer to directly root without having to use a custom kernel.
