I've rooted and installed a custom rom.
I have a nice boot animation, but i need to change the boot logo (SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB A6...BLA BLA).
I've searched high and low, and i can't really find any solution on how to change it on this tablet (10.1" screen)
Any help?

This requires a developer to do a lot of modifications and make custom splash screens.
These devices are having very few custom ROMS and kernels.... so a custom boot splash is a very far off thing to be honest.
If you need the boot splash so eagerly then for now you will have to try developing it yourself. Cheers

Damn.
That one goes out the window then lol.

What logo are you speaking about?. The bootloader logo (Samsung Galaxy Tab A6 Powered by android)? or the animation with samsung logo?
For the first one, I opened a thread a few weeks ago without any response:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-a/help/bootloader-logo-splash-image-samsung-t3560798
For the second one, you can make your own qmg file and replace it following these threads:

i'm sorry i don't think i can help you since you do not know your version. cos different version have different framework-res.apk. and that's why your tab won't boot up because probably you've replaced the framework-res.apk from some other firmware that's not compatible with your firmware. I'm guessing you'll have to reflash some other rom using odin. next time remember to backup before you replace any system files.

Oops meant to start a thread.
I didnt want to start a new topic about this.
I have normal galaxy tab GT-91000 and it appears theres no way to get a recovery for it. The galaxy tab is so different from my backflip. I have an unlocked boot loader. I really want to delete all those bloat ware apps. Is there a recovery that supports unlocked tablets?
I have tried to do factory reset by pressing volume up and power button and selected wipeout/factory reset button by selecting home button. After this screen i am getting ! mark in the triangle along with android mascot but then nothing happens. I waited till half hour but still the same screen. So do i need to flash manually

Request, Stock Sprint Bootanimation

Hello, I am new to posting on this site but I have been using it for years, since the first Galaxy. Any way recently I rooted and installed the sock(ish) v5 custom ROM in my S4 (by the way I activated Knox) and my phone runs awesome. The thing is that I like the Sprint boot animation and since the new kernel wont read .qmg my animations have to be .zip. Is there a way to compile the qmg or somehow make the Sprint animation in a .zip so I can use it. I've been searching the web for days and nothing. I found one on XDA but it wont work, is like 53 MB I dont think is right, every time I tried to flash it my phone get stuck on boot. Any way thank's for your help.
Bump,,,,,, Really, no one????? I'm really interested in having the bootanimation.

I'm also interested in this. I'm running stockish v3. I need to take my s4 into best buy because the USB port stopped charging. Everything else works fine on the phone but when they power my phone on and off I don't want them to see the custom boot screen and get suspicious. I don't know how much they care about rooted phones but I'd rather be safe.

Change Splash Screen?

How do you go about changing the splash screen on the S4? I came from an HTC One which achieved it through fastboot but to my understanding AT&T's S4 doesn't have fastboot.
P.S I'm not talking about boot animations since a lot of people get them confused lol.

I don't believe you can. I had an HTC before this and a custom splash, but the splash on this one is probably integrated into the bootloader (so it changes with the custom flag).

[Q] Custom Boot Animation?

Wanted to see if anyone found a flashable custom boot animation mod for KitKat 4.4.4. I tried a couple that used to work on KitKat 4.4.2 from a couple of other custom ROMs, but no joy, they don't seem enable the customer boot animations through application like "Boot Animations" from the play store.

How to change or remove custom splash screen / boot logo for G930V?

It is very ugly and bright white. At least my S5 had a black samsung and red Verizon splash screen. Ideally I would like to eliminate both, and surely it would speed up booting. If not, I would like a generic black screen or a samsung with a black screen splash screen.
How can I do this on Verizon G930V S7 running Nougat 7.0?
The only way on Nougat is a custom/modified stock rom. Look through the roms forum and check out the options.

The only ROM option for snapdragon is the VZW_TMO HYBRID one. With an ugly boot screen still white although no verizon boot it is replaced with white samsung splash. I wonder if I can manually modify that rom with a new boot before flashing it? I would like to have only the OEM black samsung one.
EDIT: the newest v13 version of the hybrid rom for FLAT g930v actually has choices of boot screen! Edit: v13 results in bootloop. Went through the whole ordeal twice.

Well, you stepped on yourself by telling me it's not possible and then telling me what's available in that forum. The hybrid is a modified/custom stock and has options for boots on the older version because I was using the pixel boot and shutdown screens which were black background. I stayed on that until the oreo release from jkruse based on the official release, but that does have the obnoxious white. I'm sure with the boot strap there must be a way to flash a custom boot screen. If you're staying on nougat, then eng boot and using flashfire to do the same thing.

You can wait till the unlocked snapdragon version gets oreo. The I'm pretty sure the boot logo will just be slow blinking Samsung logo . Alternatively, you can ask jkruse how to do it.
It worked! I now got a black google pixel animation (black with 4 colors dots in a line jumping over each other) by using the v13 hybrid rom - after I finally got it to work on 4th attempt to not bootloop.
