alarmclock goes off randomly

hi!
i have a small problem, namely that as soon as i turn on my alarm to wake me up in the next morning, the alarm always goes off at every full hour beginning from 10 o'clock and it doesn't matter at which time i set the alarm. so for example if i set the alarm for 11:30 the alarm will start at 10 o'clock, then again at 11 o'clock and then at 11:30. I already had the same problem when i was using FInixNOver 3.2 so i upgraded to 3.3. it worked for one day or so but then the problem came back. does anyone have a clue to what's going on in my trinity ?
Hi.
I don't know if this well help but as far as I know, relying on the inbuilt system's alarm clock to work properly is a waste of time. Mine used to go off intermittently. In the end I did a hard reset and bought a 3rd party time software (I recommend Spb Time). No more problems.
thankyou very much for your help. unfortunately i haven't tried it out yet, because the problem somehow seems to have resolved itself for no apparent reason. i will see how long this will go on and once the problem occurs again i will do the same thing you died.
thx very much again tho for your reply!

[Q] Alarm not working after JI6

I just applied the update and my alarms don't work. I have tried playing with the settings multiple times but nothing. Is it just me or did something break with the alarm?
My stock Alarm works as normal after the update, but i do notice that it FC's once the alarm goes off and i turn it off. It does not seem to close correctly and i get the FC error.
JI6 Update through ODIN
Rooted "Again"
The first alarm I tried to set never worked. Subsequent alarms I set to test did tho. I just deleted the old alarm that wont work and changed the time on the alarm that worked.
Not sure but I think I may have messed up somewhere. Works now tho.

Deletion of an alarm. Without interface.

How do I see/delete the alarms that are set without using the regular alarm interface?
I recently I flashed a new ROM and installed a whole bunch of programs, but even though the 3 alarm slots are not set or set for other times, i still get 3 alarms going off from what I had previously set.
control panel, clocks and alarms, alarms
I wouldnt hold out much hope of that working.......
Ive had the same problem in the past 2 months and I cant find a solution, worst part is that it seems to be completely at random.
Scheduled alarm always still works but sometimes I'll get other random alarms, sometimes I wont.
A hard reset / reflash should sort the problem though.......
I´m having exactly the same problem with an alarm I set a few weeks ago set at 23:30 going off every day! I´ve deleted it from alarms and it´s not showing in either the HTC menu or the windows one. It even shows the comment for the alarm I originally entered. I´m on normal ROM and haven´t changed it or installed any apps for ages - the problem just started. Also got this annoying time skipping 1 hour forward since the clocks changed, mines gone up to 5 hours ahead!! Damn my HD2 is annoying me at the moment!

Problem with Timely Alarm Clock

I installed timely on my device and had an alarm set. Then decided that I did not need the alarm and deleted it. Nevertheless, the app still woke me up three hours earlier than I wanted it to. So naturally I was very unhappy, and I uninstalled it. Then the worst possible thing happened... THE ALARM STAYED BEHIND. Now the alarm noise goes off every 10 or so minutes and there is no way for me to turn it off. I have no other alarm apps on my phone, there is no alarm setup in the android clock app, and it is still using the tone that I had setup for Timely. I'm becoming really upset because the last thing I want to do is factory reset my phone, but it seems to be the only way to fix it... I really need some help, maybe there is a file that I can delete from my phone?

Samsung Alarm clock app no longer reliable since 4.4.2 update

I've started to get some reliability issues with the stock Samsung Alarm app since I moved to 4.4.2. My alarm setup is as follows:
Alarm 1: Mon to Fri weekly repeated, only when in Location A
Alarm 2: Mon to Fri weekly repeated, only when in Location B
Alarm 3: Sat weekly repeated
Alarm 4: Sun weekly repeated
The time I need to wake up Mon to Fri depends on whether I'm in Location A or B but there's no routine to which days I'll be in which locations. Therefore, Alarm 1 and 2 are set at different times.
While I was on 4.3, this worked flawlessly and never had a single issue. However, since moving to 4.4.2, Alarm 1 hasn't gone off twice when it was supposed to. The first time it happened, I put it down to me turning it off in a half sleepy state (quite unlikely as I'm a very light sleeper) but the second time it happened, I was fully awake with the phone in my hand and it never went off at all. However, Alarm 1 and 2 have both gone off correctly on at least 1 occasion so it does seem intermittent.
To help diagnose the issue, I've turned off the location aspect of the alarm and I'm manually managing the alarms but it's not ideal. I've yet to used the weekend alarms.
Has anyone else run into this issue?
Oh God, I feared this, I so badly feared this. God no. When I first saw that the lock-screen time and phone's actual time don't synchronize since the arrival of bloody KitKat that was the first thought came into my mind!! And now I am seeing this post.
Please tell me how can I go back to 4.3?
