I previously had the LineageOS 14.1 (or CM14.1) and installed Gapps from 2016 30th of December and upon starting the OS everything was fine. Until I tried to install the superuser for it. So i tried reinstalling Lineage and everything was fine for 10 minutes until it ended up just like when i tried to install the superuser. By the way when I installed the Super user it started the OS but then proceeded to crash and reboot. So I tried to fix this issue by flashing it with Stock 4.4.4 Kitkat. When it tried to flash it resulted on a error on the phone saying "SW Rev Check Fail [aboot] Fusion 2 > Binary 1". I tried flashing with the pit but that to resulted in the same error. I tried looking on google or XDA for anybody that had the same error as me but couldn't find anyone. Do you know how to fix this error.
EDIT: I found out that I was flashing the wrong version. Sorry.

Hi,
Recently my galaxy note was in repair at samsung. After I took it with everything wiped out and android 5.1.1, I rooted and installed twrp. I was able to install an aosp rom via recovery (the unofficial cm-13).
Now I cant flash anything via Odin without getting "sw rev check fail fused 2 binary 1" and every stock rom I flash via twrp give me bootloop.

And when it bootloops boot into stock recovery and do a factory reset. That will clear all the crap out from CM-13.
Okay, So I was trying to flash stock rom (4.4.2) in Odin and It failed. IT left me with the error, SW REV CHECK FAIL : [aboot]Fused 4 > Binary 1
I get this error every time I try to flash. And I tried to do an Emergency Software Recovery and it just fails after it downloads the Update. I am able to access Android Recovery and Download Mode Aswell. I think when I tried to factory reset I deleted The whole OS. I really hope I am not out a brand new phone. I already tried to flash like 3 different stock roms from different websites same error!
Phone was Not rooted.
No Custom Rom installed.
Android 5.1.1 Was installed before.
Also, I heard that some users have been able to flash the pit and fix this, How can I find my Pit File. Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900A
Hey everyone, after reading about flashing my phone on this site I figured I'd give it a try, but I couldnt get it to work and now I'm having trouble reverting to the stock system.
I've tried reinstalling from the steps at https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2785363
When trying to write to the phone with oden, the AP fails & the phone says:
Refer 3 > Binary 1
Secure Check Fail : System
(The CP works, and the CSC fails "refer 3 > binary 1, secure check fail : cache")
I've also tried installing other versions of the firmware, and ive tried 3 different cables. All results have been similarly bad
G900A_Downgrade_to_NCE.tar.md5 (failed w/ a similar result, refer 3 > binary 1)
SM-G900A 4.4.2 Firmware (failed w/ a similar result, refer 4 > binary 1)
I'm new to this, so any help either getting my phone back to a stock firmware or getting it on to a different software such as Lineage OS would be greatly appriciated!! Hopefully I havent totally bricked it
Thanks!!!
Looks like you're trying to flash a not-allowed downgrade.
You need a more recent firmware: https://forum.xda-developers.com/att-galaxy-s5/general/g900aucs4dqd1-odin-update-v6-0-1-t3603897

that error means that your device is in "binary 1", and you are trying to install a binary 0, so make sure you have the latest firmware.
Try unchecking "BL" in Odin and then flash.
this occurred to me after flashing LineageOS 15.1 and getting Root from stock Oreo 8.0.

I did it but still get this error … it fails in system section
Couple of nights ago my Note 4 (American T-Mobile SM-N910T) started boot looping. I've rooted, flashed recovery and all that jazz so I did what I assumed was the fix. I tried to reflash the stock rom and reset the entire system.
Boot to recovery
Cache wipe
Factory Reset
Didn't work......
Load up Odin
Flash N910TUVU2EQI2 (which I believe is the latest Note 4 firmware as of 2017?)
Odin fails like step one.
"SW REV CHECK FAIL : [aboot]Fused 2 > Binary 1
[1]eMMC Write Fail: ABOOT
Now I'm not completely uneducated on this. It sounds like it's saying the boot loader is a higher version than the firmware? I don't see how... Am I getting something wrong here?
I've always done OTA updates when they became available.
EDIT: JK turns out I'm just an idiot and was using a 4 year old version of Odin.... works fine now.
