I need help! Ok so here's the deal: I flashed the new RA-dream v1.3.2 recovery this morning and coming from MLIGN 3.0 Hero I wiped EVERYTHING the recovery allowed me to: data + cache, Dalvik-cache, battery stats? and rotate settings along with repartitioning my sd card. After that I wanted to go back to Cyanogen's 4.2.3.1 so I wiped but it now won't go past the Tmobile G1 Screen! I've tried everything, including flashing other Rom's wiping partitioning again, letting it stay at the screen for and hour! all in all I can't get past it, but I can get to recovery.. did I do something wrong? any help would be great cause till then, I'm phoneless
it is possible you could have had a corrupted download, or a corrupted flash, try it again

Oh man, thank god.. I'm not 100 percent if this was the reason, but I used my sd card adapter to copy over the update rather than the usb through recovery and it worked. That had to have been what it was?? Thanks for the help though
Ok so i'm fairly new (only 3 and a half months although been lurking until my hero purchase for around 6 months) and catch on quickly.
I have a cdma hero running darchlegendv.4.3 and forgive me for forgetting his name(The Blue theme his name starts with a g,sorry g*****,lol) but anyhow, i've tried flashing a few roms now and am getting stuck in a constant boot...
I Backup,Wipe Everything but sd,flash the update zip and it installs and boots..
The Problem is It boots and boots and then finally freezes for about 20 seconds then starts the boot animation over and over. What could be the cause of my constant boot???
1)Is It A Bad PRI or PRL???
2)I've Flashed Fresh 2.0d,Darchlegend 5,DC5.6,and Darchvanilla with this problem..
3)(While I'm Asking Questions)I'd Like To start developing and making roms and/or applications for my favorite little green robot. Can anyone take the time out to PM me possibly??
Thank you sooo much for any contribution it's very appreciated

I hope you're trying to wipe and then adding the theme... flash or recover your 4.3.1 (although I recommend flashing 4.5) and then flash your darkstar theme over it
Oh no I have the them on top of darchlegend 4.3 , I applied that right i just don't know why it constants boots when i try to flash to a new rom(i do wipe)I just don't know..

So plug in the cable, do a logcat, and find out.
How exactlt do i do that? Thanks for the reply
do adb logcat from command prompt.
ALSO,
were you sure that this was in fact a theme for DarchLegend? Cause if it didn't specifically say that, then that is why. Different frameworks between that rom and the sprint roms.
yes I haven't a clue what's wrong, I'm in recovery wipe and it installs but conatantly boots . Note:this is when i flash a new rom,te current will boot

what are you wiping just data? ive had this happen before, wipe everything dev., ext, data everything then flash again then wipe data again.
Any flash that wipes dalvik cache like a rom our flipz's vanilla lock screen fix can take up to twenty minutes to boot the first time. This also means anytime you wipe the dalvik cache from recovery.
im having some serious issues, that render my phone essentially unusable. at this point, i just want a working phone. right now, i can get into bootloader/hboot/fastboot but when i select recovery, it reboots to the white htc evo screen, then sits there looping. the only way for me to get into recovery is if i flash a recovery via adb with fastboot, and then i can get in, and ive tried flashing a rom, which says is successful, then i tell it to reboot, it made it into the rom. but then i needed to reboot, and then it just kept looping the bootanimation. battery pull and try again, still loops animation. then i try to get into recovery via bootloader, and im back to square one, looping htc evo white screen.
any ideas??? thanks
-Alex
What recovery were you using?

You may as well, if you can wipe everything, except your SD card. Try and reflash the ROM then. The only reason I asked about your recovery is it seems like the same problem people have been having with TWRP2.

Same thing I was thinking, get outta my head lol
lol, so goto recovery, then just go down the list of things to wipe and reflash rom?
Yup wipe it all 3-5x just don't wipe sdcard or batt stats wipe: factory reset/data 5x then everything else at least 3x I always wipe everything 5x if I'm changing roms or restoring a backup
got into recovery wiped, flashed rom, and its all looking good. confused as to why it started working out of nowhere, but it seems to be good, and im fine with that lol. thanks!!
I tried to install Mike's ICS rom today. I used this tutorial:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1445816
Tried system partition sizes with 190/200/210/220. Erased everything. I used format on SD card too. Got only ICS on it. I stuck always at LG logo.

This one at 0:06 sec of video.
Anyone can help? Thanks.

I have recovery version v5.0.2.8 is that maybe problem?
Just doing this again as u told me, and I will post again if it doesn't help me. Thanks so far. )
Edit:
It didn't help. I tried it 2times. Now I used 250mb system partition, still not passing this LG logo.. it seems I can't run ICS on my LG GT540. :<
Might be a curropted zip file, try redownloading it, also set ur system to 200 only
Guys it takes very long to boot trust me it took me more them 5 min

ye but from the lg logo it shouldnt hang
it hands on the bootscreen for about 10mins first boot after upgrade
mine stuck on both for very very very long
I will try to download again or I will wait for beta6 now, maybe it will work on my phone.. and hey aaa801 I tried 200mb system too, but it didn't work.
@bs828 I waited for about 20minutes on LG logo, it didn't pass. I tried to flash this in every way, but didn't get it to work so I switched again on my ASIS.
hmm weird .... yeah i think you should go back to asis but i recommend sdsl final alot better! just flash no need to wipe data from asis
I tried SDSL but it got problems, and ASIS is a lot better rom for daily use for me. SDLS gives me random freezes on lock screen, calibration is so bad I can't write properly a SMS, and I have that great theme in ASIS (Androidian), etc. Maybe it happens only on my LG, but ASIS is my top rom so far.
o i dont have such probs sdsl is the best used to be asis but now sdsd...
Wipe all, and then flash polishblood->then gapps->then new keyboard. That worked for me with 190mb partition.
I tried that. I will wait for some next release like beta8-9. I'm good with ASIS still.
How is your battery life with this rom?

Hi. My Nexus 4 got stuck in a bootloop while attempting to flash the PAC-man ROM and I have no idea what to do!
I am a total noob at this, so I'll just go through the details. I cleaned Dalvik and Cache and then flashed the files: pac_mako-22.2.0-rc1(Downloaded from official PAC-ROM site) and gappsinverted-jb-20130308-signed(From rootzwiki). After flashing these two, I tried starting the phone. The minigame turned up and then it moved on to the 'PAC is LOADING' screen. It stayed like that for 15 minutes... The only way I knew the phone hadn't hung was because there was the constant movement of the loading bar. So I got into TWRP recovery again and flashed Paranoid Android back so the device would be usable again.
I really want to try PAC-man and would be grateful to anyone who can help me out...

You have to also wipe DATA when you flash a new ROM. Use the factory reset option.
also, your gapps are out of date. you got stuck at rebuilding the dalvik, which is kinda normal for android 4.3. all you have to do, should have to do, is force reboot once or twice until the dalvik gets rebuilt, then itll boot.

Hold the power button for about 10 seconds.
You are trying to use 4.2.2 gapps on 4.3 rom
