Hey all,
I'm working on getting a Freedom Mobile H915 working WITH LTE and rooted. It can be rooted with stock 996 with no LTE but I need to try it with stock H918 10j for Band 66 support. Freedom Mobile LTE only uses Band 66 which T-Mobile supports and H918 10j CAN be rooted.
How can I get the stock boot, system, radio and recovery .img files for H918 10j. And if I flash all these in 996 in twrp I'll have stock H918 on my phone to test, right?
Any help would be appreciated, I'm soooo close. :fingers-crossed:
Edit: And I'm thinking if i flash those .imgs first then I get do a full .kdz flash. Right now in Uppercut my phone is recognised as a H915 and can't flash the .kdz, even flashing the .dz fails at 10% and can't get it to work.
I was wondering if you had any success? I have an H918 running on Freedom's LTE network but my LTE is not enabled on this phone and nobody seems to know how I can do it.

I'm on the most recent NotSoStock ROM, but want to flash back to stock to trade device in so I'm doing the LGUP KDZ restore method.. However, my phone says I'm on VS99515A in the About section of my device, yet LGUP recognizes my device as VS99511A, so which vs995 kdz should I flash? I don't even see an 11A in the LG KDZ files page, so should I be ok flashing the 15A KDZ file..??
Thanks!
It doesn't matter what the current firmware is on your phone, when you flash a KDZ it gets replaced. You can flash whatever version you want since you are probably on 15A with an 11A bootloader. Either way, you are definitely fine flashing 15A, and that will get your phone back to stock so you can sell it.

plz help me extract LS997 ZV8 or ZV7 modem img
i'm in the same boat, any fix yet?
I've got the modem...
I flashed a H915 modem when rooting the other day, still haven't had luck connecting to lte, I'm going to return back to what it was before.
My question is, if I flash the kdz, does that over write the modem image I flashed.
I flashed my TMO to 9.0.6 - I noticed much slower download speeds, so I flashed my tmo modem a/b.
My phone boots to my home screen for a few secounds then reboots into recovery. I am assuming I need to goback to the intl modems or flash my phone back to stock.
you will need to flash your phone back to stock using MSMtool for the TMO version. Modem partitions are signed by TMO and cannot be changed... yet
Hello, I have a ATT v20 that was running lineageos 14.1. I booted into twrp and wiped everything. I went to install the 16.1 rom but now the model is showing as f800, the korean variant. I can still get into twrp + fastboot, but Idk where to go from here. Is it stuck as f800 or is it just being read wrong? Would I need to flash a stock rom with lgup and start over?? Thanks.
