I9506 vs i9505
My battery consumption in standby consumes 0.5% / h when I'm on 3g but when I'm on LTE consumption is much higher 1.6% / h, is this normal?
Galaxy S4 I9505 LTE
Rom AntaresOne & Alucard24's optimized CM12.1
Yes.
thanks for the reply
LTE uses a higher frequency so, yeah, it is normal. It also depends on the signal strength. LTE is fairly new so signal may not be as strong as 3G.
Hey guys,
I noticed when my Galaxy S5 is not on charger, it constantly discharges at a rate of -450mA. That seems to be a bit weird, as when I measured the discharge rate on other phones, the value used to change, based on the actual usage (i.e. diplay brightnesss, cpu freq etc.). Do you guys have any information/recommendation regarding that issue?
Kind regards,
Kenny
I updated my S4 recently to LineageOS (23.06.2018) which is using Android 7.1.2. It works perfectly fine and I'm amazed how well the S4 runs in 2018 with this updated OS.
The only issue which I encounter is a very high temperature around the CPU/GPU part of the phone, so high that I can barely touch the screen. The battery is not affected and just slightly warm.
I use this phone only as backup and beach phone, hence I don't care much about the speed. Is there any easy way to limit the CPU/GPU frequency (Possibly depending on any available temp sensor)?
Any solution to keep the temps lower will be appreciated, as I said I don't mind to sacrifice some speed.

Bump.
Has anyone successfully overclocked their Redmi Note 7? And by overclocking, I don't just mean changing the CPU governor or setting the minimum CPU frequency to a higher level, I mean pushing the maximum frequency to a higher state.
Alternatively, how could I modify the kernel myself to allow for higher frequencies?
Forget about overclocking SD660
