When I try to download and save a picture it doesn't show up in my gallery. When I go to file manager it's shows up "untitled" and shows a picture of the intro picture of my RSA token application (used to log into my work website). I'm so confused!!

1. When the quick setting profile is clicked it'll say " the contact doesn't exist"
2.If you got picasa photos in you gallery you'll have to un sync/delete photos in your Google account somehow

My quick setting profile works fine. I think you just need to log into the google+ app if it isn't working now.
Hi,
Does anybody know how I get rid of this message when taking a photo.
View attachment 2046836
For the sake of search engines it says:
The first time the InstantUpload is running you must be online, so the target folder can successfully created by the upload process
I don't know if this is a cyanogenmod feature; if it is I can't find a setting for it, or something to do with Dropbox or Google+. I don't think it is either of them as I have never seen the message on the stock Rom.
Thanks for any help.
Jay.

Instant upload is a feature of Google+ , you can turn it off and will not get such messages. Instant upload uploads any photo you capture to Google+ and pops in a folder in your gallery, since you are not online, it tries to upload photo but fails.
Go to Google+ settings and turn off auto backup option in camera and photos if you are on latest version otherwise it will be listed as instant upload in settings and turn it off
Instant upload was recently renamed to auto backup

Every time I take a picture with my phone. It's instantly synced with all my android devices. I disabled picture syncing and it still uploads it to a folder. It shows under a folder called "auto backup" with the picasa logo. Also I can't figure out how to delete the pictures from that folder. This is soooo annoying.
Are you talking about Google+'s instant upload? I know there are options to sync photos under your Google account settings. I can't remember if instant upload is there as well. Try opening G+ and look in settings.

Go to your accounts on settings. And then hit whichever email account it is. Then uncheck sync picassa.

This is new and strange on my S7 Edge. Photos sent to me on whatsapp were usually shown in my gallery app.
Not anymore!! The "whatsapp" album on gallery is not there and I can't see whatsapp saved images...
What am I doing wrong?

try a reboot
Mine are still in the gallery, did you sync your Whatsapp account so it downloads all contacts and stored messages and such as you had on your old phone? I'm no Whatsapp expert but maybe there are settings you can change. I moved everything from my old phone with Smart Switch but I noticed the UI from Whatsapp changed a lot compared to what I had on my S2.
If reboot does not work then download esfile explorer or root fileexplorer you can check whatsapp folder for nomedia file if you find it delete it. It is not shown normally so you have to set it to show all files.
Not sure if im in the right forum, ever since i got my s7 edge, whenever i open a dropbox link it just opens in the browser and not in the app. How do i set it to open dropbox links in the dropbox app
