I have broke my power button and have unlocked bootloader so my warranty is void can the service center repair my phone as it's a hardware problem not a software problem ???

I think they will honour your warranty since the power button has nothing to do with an unlocked bootloader.

If you can boot into your bootloader try relocking it by flashing the stock firmware and then visit the service center

Power button not working on X8:(

My power button won't work on X8... Please help...
Take it to a service point/service center after you reflashed it.
flash it with seus, it doesnt need the power button, just the back. ( i hope you know how to flash your phone with seus, if you dont, install a seus, and follow the instructions, everything is written there).
if you cant flash it because flash mode doesnt work, that is sucks, you need to bring your phone to service, but if you have a custom rom on your phone , start to pray, that they repair it to you for free.

How to check if bootloader was unlocked ?

Hi. I have bought used P8 lite and im wondering if there is any way to check if bootloader was unlocked ? I mean seller could just lock the bootloader for sell and i want to check is the warranty still working. Any ideas ?

Use hi care app to check the warranty status.
You can boot into fastboot & rescue mode (turn it off, press power + vol - button (i think)) and at the bottom of the screen it should say either:
Unlocked
or
Locked

Help me! ZTE Axon 7 is in EDL Mode!

I have unlock the bootloader of my zte axon 7 A2017U and during the process it was bricked
now i am in EDL mode, bootloader unlocked, the phone won't turn on, no rom, idk if there is a recovery, fastboot & adb won't recognize the phone, from what i have understand i need to install qualcomm drivers and idk how to do that pls help!!
i just want to get to "brand new phone" state

The phone dosn't turn on i have pressed for over a minuite now.. again there is no rom ,maybe no recovery and need to flash qualcomm's drivers

Can't you use this http://forum.xda-developers.com/axon-7/development/wip-axon-7-root-bootloader-unlokced-t3441204 to get TWRP running and then use http://forum.xda-developers.com/axon-7/development/rom-guide-updates-to-stock-files-via-t3469484 to get the rom back?

I have tried that, and it won't go to twrp, although this is the result from cmd:
D:\Downloads\New folder>axon7root.exe -p COM3 -b -r

Hold on there,
- When you unplug your device and press & hold Power it does NOT turn on? and still just black screen?
- Only Turns on straight to EDL when you plug it in using your PC/Laptop
if both are correct you better off, doing a RMA, why that's my final answer?, cuz i had the same problem and couldn't fix it and there's NO tool yet to fix for this type of brick.

It have a black screen all the time(pluged to laptop,pressed power button no matter what i do) even no vibration, pls think of something else!:fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:

sorry pal, like i said before you need to send to ZTE for repair (RMA) you have ZTE Passport Warranty , do a RMA is the only way for now to get it fix.

Same thing happened to me a little over a month ago - must send it back to ZTE. RMA is the only way

I made sure I had my backups restored (stock boot and stock recovery from axon7backup) and I only paid ten bucks for an upgrade to express return shipping

Sound like the bootloader is hosed. And i am going to assume you have the A2017U (US version) since u still end up in EDL and not DFU? How did you unlock you BL or how did it fail?

I ended up in a black screen and the phone won't turn on, i assume i'm in EDL mode, i was able to unlock the bootloader soccessfully but after messing around a little too mouch it has come to this state..

if he did an UNOFFICIAL Unlock he can, there is no way for them to check if bootloader was unlock...specially if the device is in the condition it is now.

You know ...... They never figured out what happened to mine - after two days they gave up and replaced the phone.
hold down power and volume down button at same time for a few seconds...
Guys this happened to me and I called ZTE and made a repair claim I did not unlock bootloader so I hope I'm ok and they can replace it

It would be beneficial to know what steps lead up to this failure.
I'm considering importing this phone and to RMA could be quiet costly (delivery costs).

I said there was a failure when it was updating software I got soft brick but no unlock bootloader they pay for shipping read the warranty passport 2.0 when you have a chance but short info it has to meet warranty criteria and if it's repairs you have to pay for repair cost if you Dont want to pay for repair cost they will send it back the way they received it. It take about two weeks for the process and they're in Dallas tx.

P9Lite dead screen?

Hi, my screen doesn't seems to work. I wanted to downgrade from Nougat, so i flashed oeminfo and then rebooted and installed b130 l-21 firmware. Installation reached 100% but then it tell an error and i there was just a button to reboot, so i pressed it and after that, black screen. Charging led not working too. By the way, i don't know why, but my phone is booting only in fastboot mode, even if i force reboot by holding power button, the device is rebooting in fastboot. I re-unlocked the bootloader and then tried to flash b160, but it seems like it din't flash nothing, because when i type "fastboot getvar rescue_phoneinfo" it says that i'm on B130. Any idea?
Edit: DC-Phoenix unlocker says that "battery state: 0" is this ok?

Disconnect the cable, after Dload b130, b160 or b.... then press volume + and power.
No longer hold power when the screen starts.
Recovery huawei wipe factory rest and wipe cache reboot.

Thank you, but if i try to install with 3 button method i can't see if it's actually installing because the screen is black.

Since you're under warranty its for free. i just sended my phone today was also black screen.

Oh, yea, i finally got my device working again without using warranty, but i had to pay 15€ for the DC-Phoenix flash service. With that service i could flash any file that is into an .app instead of just flash system, boot and recovery with classic fastboot method. So i downloaded b161, flashed it and my screen came back again!

Re-lock a previously unlocked bootloader on Galaxy Tab A 10.1 2019

I'm returning a my tablet which is still under warranty and looking for a way to re-lock the bootloader. All the tutos I find are for unlocking it. Does anyone now the procedure for re-locking it?

That is because you re-lock it the same way you unlock it. Be sure to flash the latest stock ROM via Odin before re-locking it. Then, with the tablet off, and the USB cable plugged into the PC only, while holding both vol up and down and plug the cable into the tablet.. When the screen appears, release both buttons and then long press the vol up and you'll get the screen to re-lock.
