Hello, when i am talking with someone usually they don't hear me well, everyone complains that he cant hear what i am saying. It is not always but most of the time. I searched the problem and it seems to be connected with the second mic for noise cancellation. I noticed that on other phones people can switch off this option and the problem is solved. I have been searching how to switch it off for two days but i gave up. So please, can someone tell where to find that option on Huawei P9 lite?

Hi all,
Does anyone else have problems with people not being able to hear them when they use speaker phone on their MDA Pro? I can hear them as clear as you like, they just can't hear me.
It seems like it's something to do with noise cancellation software in the pro. Does anyone know a way to get around this?
Thanks
Sank
Anyone ? I really need to find a solution to this.
TIA
Sank
Have you tried in an otherwise silent environment? I find the speakerphone on mine near useless unless I shout down the thing almost directly into the microphone and the other caller shouts back.
I'm getting reports that people cannot hear me on speakerphone now. It was OK a couple of weeks ago (well, never got any complaints ).
I've installed PocketZenPhone recently, so maybe a messed the settings up . Haven't had time to dig into it.
Is there anything you've installed recently that may have changed things (almost impossible to know with Win based systems !)
Regards,
Lance
Glad I'm not the only 1, but does anyone have a solution?
Xiasma - I find mine worst when the person I'm phoning is in a loud environment. I also find people can hear me better if I turn the volume down.
Lance - I haven't installed anything new for a long time, so I don't think it's something I've installed.
Thanks
Dave
I want to know if im the only one with this problem.
Outgoing voice quality sucks on the vibrant im on my 2nd one and the other person on the both has a hard time hearing me. This happens especially in my car or in a noisy environment. Now yes i know noise is going to make it harder to hear me, but its not the fact they cant hear me over the background noise, its like the phone just starts noise canceling everything.
I'm coming off of a nokia N900 which no one ever told me they couldnt hear me. In fact the day i got my vibrant the 1st call i made one friend said whats wrong with your phone.
I'm having the same problem - i thought maybe it was the individual unit, but i bought 2 and tried the other one - same thing - the microphone quality sux - i can't believe no one else is complaining about this???
My DEFY was produced in September last year.
At first I hadn't found this problem.
Later I found defy has sound like "zizi" (jiust like FM was interpreted)from the soound receiveer when I in somewhere the singal is not good such as KTV room and even somewhere outside, this ound lead to I can not hear the caller's words absolutely and upset the caller and me. Changing the baseband has no help.
Changing the sound receiver neither.
But if I use headphone or loudspeaker, the noisy sound is disappeared, and I can hear what the caller is saying.
If you had occured this problem, or if you know how to conquer it, please tell me THE SOLUTION!
THANK YOU!
Hello,
since a few months i've had some problems while making phone calls:
-I can barely hear the other person talking, the volume is on max but i still can't understand what they're saying.
-People can not hear me, unless i put on the speaker. When i turn on the speaker, we can hear each other.
-When i plug in my earphones, we can both hear each other too.
I've googled many times but have not yet found an answer. If anyone could help me with this, please do.
I have P9 lite from last week. Everybody is telling me that they can't hear me well. I tested it by myself and it seems that microphone sucks., sound is disappearing. If I speak directly in mic the sound is still quiet. I found similar problems on google, but no solution.
What can I do? Is there any way to boost the mic?
Considering your device is new my suggestion is: send it in for repair.
No sense in trying to "boost" your obviously broken mic. You paid money for your device and it should come in perfect condition.

Thank you. I'm going to T-mobile tomorow.
Mic is not there
The mic of the HUAWEI p9lite is not at the bottom of the phone. Yes! Its not. Its on the top of the phone on the right coner. So when u make calls just put the phone on loud speak volume a little bit down and then turn the phone upside down.. then people will hear you very clearly.. and I know its a sucky thing but that is how it is. Sorry guys??
Oh man, i think the mic on top is 2nd one and it is used for noise canceling.
I resolved problem by getting new p20 lite xD
