I am having the same problem with one I'm trying to fix. I have scoured the internet trying to find a fix and have been unlucky so far. The D2G had a similar problem that occured after trying to flash back from the .629 OTA to the .608 sbf that was fixed by a patched .608 sbf file so I've been looking to see if the D2 had a similar fix. I'll post here if I find anything.

I think I may have found a solution. I am testing it now and will post if it works.

You should move this to the Q & A section. Nobody is going to help you here because this section is reserved for actual development. Just trying to help keep you from getting flamed...
I had my phone stuck in TWRP twice last night from failed Rom flashing. This is my post in another thread on how I fixed it. Try this to see if it helps, I'm not responsible if you do any more damage

ADB Sideload. Respond if you need help with it. Macs are the easiest for ADB sideloading because they don't need drivers, I could help you with a PC too but it's more annoying.

The issue with Linux is there aren't any official Google ports for the files for ADB Sideloading. Do you have access to a PC or a Mac? http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html these are the Android SDK files for Mac and Windows, I'm not quite sure if they have Linux support, but you could try. Also Wine, the program that allows you to run Windows apps on Linux or Mac will not work with this because of the way it works, so you need an actual Windows or Mac device. However, if it does support Linux I'm sure it wouldn't be any harder than it is on Windows or Mac. Also I tried using the LG Flash Tool method on various devices and it was more complicated and wouldn't work for me for whatever reason even after installing the drivers.
how would you sideload from a mac. mines stuck. in twrp i didnt even know the radio was updating. i guess my daughter pressed it. lol she was using quick memo to color. what files would i need? i tried to do all the other ways on my wifes windows pc but no go. the phone tries to update firmware when i plug it in and stays at 0.
I'll just say that the way I did it in my post worked for me twice while I was stuck in a TWRP boot loop from failed ROM flashing. Both times it worked with out a hitch to get my Sprint g2 running a tmobile rom back to stock Sprint.

A you running the newest TWRP? I know I wasn't and it continued to fail and stick me in the boot loop into TWRP. Once I updated, I was able to flash CM11 and it's working perfect.

If you're really stuck, the best way to get it working again is connecting the phone in download mode to a PC/Mac and restore it with Smart Switch, so you don't risk downloading a wrong/corrupted image for Odin

PLEASE, BEFORE POSTING THIS KIND OF ANSWERS HERE, READ THE QUESTION THREE TIMES AND USE YOUR BRAIN, OR YOU'LL ONLY CAUSE DAMAGES.
What I see there is a .tar image for J530, not J500 (J530 is 2017 model, J500 is 2015). He wants to get the phone working again, not completely bricked because he flashed an image for another device.

Turn off phone by pressing power button and volume down button.
Then put your phone into download mode by plugging the usb cable in phone and pressing volume down button.
Then install the h910 kdz(Download it from google) with lgup.

Cross flashing isn't recommended, do it at your own risk
Sent from my LG-H910 using XDA Labs
The entire single SIM line shares the exact same mobo, the only thing you can't cross flashed is to/from H918 due to difference in RSA keys. Otherwise, the worst thing that can happen is losing reception due to incompatible modem, which is fixed by reflashing the old one

If I was you I'd try the instructions in this thread to get, twrp, root, and then I would flash a h910 rom that has fuli h910 firmware, which should restore the baseband and modem.

G530BT Does not work custom rom or root

I have an old Grand Prime SM-G530BT which I think is the same G530H and I am trying to use an alternate rom, but every time I do that it no longer loads and is not even recognized in the operating system in MTP mode and if I leave the original rom and I root, when rebooting gets a white screen and does not boot, what is it? how to solve?

its a kernel issue. g530bt dtbs are different from g530h dtbs. this can break touchscreen, sensors, usb etc.
i've been working on a custom kernel and a custom twrp build for g530bt that aim to fix the mtp issue. they're both currently being tested.
