Pixel XL 128 GB Back in Stock at Google....Limited Quantities - Google Pixel XL Guides, News, & Discussion

I just got an email from Google saying the XL 128 GB is back in stock but they have limited quantities. I thought about swapping out my 32 GB for a 128 but the 32 is actually fine for me.

Yeah, I asked to be notified back in the first week of release and this is the first time they've sent an email telling me it's in stock.

Wow, does the Google Financing really charge 29.99% interest?
That's what I'm seeing on the application.
I thought it was no-interest financing?
edit:
I think it is.

Standard terms from these kinds of offers. If you don't pay on time, yea you will be nailed at 30 percent. Pretty much any 0 percent offer from anyone is like that.

Finally IT'S OVER...............Now what???????

Rumer is dishTV or direct TV is interested, can't remember which one though. Regardless, yet another customer service nightmare company vying for TMO
I wonder if the $1 Billion in spectrum that they state is for, "3G roaming" will allow all of us on T-Mobile that are stuck in an Edge network only area to jump up to 3G.
now what? now it's time for Goog to get at that.

u wanna buy stocks? go buy google's they NEVER go down like seriously i bought some for a few hundred bucks a year ago and damn its multiplied.
What now? It dies a slow agonizing death.... DT already said that it has no plans of investing anymore in TMO

Google will not be buying T-Mobile in the near future, most likely. Its argument for not paying special fees for Google Voice was based on the opinion that Google was not a phone company.
However, it would be interesting. Google runs Android and Motorola Mobility, and if they bought T-Mobile they would have essentially be a vertically integrated juggernaut in the wireless telecom world.
This is great news indeed !!!
wooohoooo im glad the deal is dead..i can now stay with tmo...hope they get more customers and remain competitive.
So glad this failed.
Yes! I hate AT&T
Google cannot legally buy a Telecom since they own a hardware manufacturer as per the rules the FCC enacted in the 70s with the att monopoly breakup.

Samsung Galaxy Nexus 439-449 @ Newegg

Newegg has the Galaxy Nexus for 449, looks like if you wanna get a simple mobile sim with it, the package is only 439, not sure if they require you to activate through them, or if you can just buy it for 439 and toss the sim, either way here's there link
Simple Mobile - 4G/3G/2G SIM Card-Works with most Unlocked GSM Phones additional Monthly Service Required (SIMPLESIM1)
looks like you have to get the service for the additional $10 off
but even without the $10 off, still a great deal!
Great price from a reliable source.

They're also in New Jersey, so a day or two on the East Coast tops.
It appears that it doesn't come with a 1yr warranty, it comes with a 90 day warranty.

thats because these are asian imports.
you can buy the 1 yr coverage plan for $50, which still makes this a good deal.

But they'll also collect CA sales tax, which will erase all the savings over some of the other sites that are selling it for a little more.
Reading the reviews of the GNex on newegg's own website doesn't inspire a whole lot of confidence. It looks like their stock of phones may not be sealed boxes?

Anyone planning to buy their phone on amazon?

I'm just wondering if anyone has had experience buying a new phone through a carrier on amazon.com (at&t in particular) and how long after release will i most likely have to wait to be able to buy it on amazon instead of directly through at&t to upgrade.
Im curious because i have $200 gift card and would love to use it there
It's pretty simple and smooth. Just like buying @ Best Buy, except online and they ship the phone to you.
Only thing I have to caution you about is, if you might be planning to terminate contract early.
When you buy through Amazon, you are also signing a contract with them.
If you leave early (within 6 months I think), not only will you be charged AT&T ETF, Amazon will also charge you up to $400.
You've gotta be careful with these subsidized deals and read all the fine print.
Other than that caution, Amazon usually offers pretty good deals for phones.
You can take advantage of your gift card. If you didn't have your gift card,
I would probably think Best Buy is better since they don't have their own contract with the phone.
I have Amazon Prime and use Amazon a lot, so it's a tempting service to use to pre-order but it all comes down to price and whether they'll have accessories bundled with it.
any idea when preordering or even ordering will be available for at&T

Shipped on the 30th and you might be able to have it by May 1.
I bought a droid charge on Amazon. The big thing there I think is that the price drops a lot faster than through the carrier, and it was (for me) the cheapest third party retailer that sold new (unopened) phones. If you wait long enough for the price to drop (up to a couple months would be my best guess) then some days it will randomly go even further down but back to normal price the next day. By buying like this I got my Charge for $140 when they were still $300 through Verizon.

I ordered from Futureshop.ca. Paid $469.99 (Canadian) for the 16GB + 4G version.
Would probably cost the same as getting it from Google Play when you account for shipping and exchange rate.
I ordered mine from amazon. Free shipping made the decision for me. Plus I don't have to keep F5ing the Google play page in the morning.

same even though Google has better long term RMA i save shipping fee plus can exchange in store if there are any issues...
I checked with my prime shipping account and its only $3.99 too next day it. Super cheap i may buy it through amazon . Unless anyone has a reason why it matters if we buy directly through google.
I'm kinda leaning towards Amazon.com though. $6 shipping, but altogether comes to $453 USD. Convert that to CAD and it's still only $510, as opposed to the $530 total from Future Shop/Best Buy. Mainly because $400 USD != $470 CAD, it's only around $450 or so. I'm not sure about the RMA process though, that's probably the only thing keeping me from pre-ordering on Amazon right now.
Ordered.
Anyone know if Amazon allows returns of opened tablets?
I refuse to order from the play store after they charged me a restocking fee last time. Why not support he stores who offer free returns?

Amazon's customer service is great. They'll replace your tablet if it has any problems for free. Google should still cover the 1 year warranty.
Speaking so, I preordered it off amazon with 1 day shipping and I don't have to pay tax. ( I saved about $40)

Those of you waiting on the Play store are nuts imho. I've been screwed by Google bungling my preorders twice and will buy anywhere else... like Amazon who tends to know how to get things to their customers. Google does a lot of good things but getting stuff shipped properly is not one of them.

Best Buy or At&T for my new ATT Note 7??

I'm planning to move up from my Note 5. Q is which of these 2 are offering a better deal. ATT offers the s2 watch while BB offers the Fit 2. Otherwise are they really so different?
Also doesn't BB have a poor reputation for delivering on time?

Man... I preordered the S7 Edge through BestBuy and it was a total mess.
They took damn near a month after release to get the phone out to many people... So many delays... So many issues with them...
If you want to return, you only have 14 days - I had to argue with them to return my first device (due to small issue) but they refused at first saying it was past 14 days. I told them it was past 14 days because THEY took forever to ship it out to me. They ended up giving me a replacement but told me I wouldn't be able to return that replacement to them.
They have good promotions and free stuff but Best Buy Customer Service is abysmal. Seriously!!
I think the best deal I've seen so far (in the US) is from Sam's Club - google it and check it out.
Who knows if Best Buy is going to make the same mistakes when this phone is released.
I ordered mine thru Target. They are giving a $100 gift card and giving you $200 gift card to trade in a old phone. Hard to beat $300 and I'll still order the sd card, once I get my phone.

target is cheaper with the $100 gift card (comes to $809). I assume you can still get the 256mb SD card direct from Samsung?
how good are they on dates on preorders and does anyone know what their return policy is?

Another limitation of the Note 7 deal at target is that you cannot turn in a phone to them. If you are on a next plan, and eligible for an upgrade, but have not yet paid off your full plan, they cannot sell you a Note 7 on that line. I was told only AT&T stores and Best Buy can do that. So if you own your phone ourtight, then you can do the target (and Sam's Club) deals, if are currently on a Next plan, you cannot use them.
1 line of mine is ok, but the other I am going to have to go somewhere else.

Interesting, one question I have is: Can we pay additional money on the phone to lower the monthly payment? I know that AT&T allows you to do this but I am not sure, if the others do.

With a similar offer last month on the s7, they said that I could have used the trade in gift card as a down payment and reduced my monthly payment... so, I imagine that the u can do down payments.
