[Workaround] to "This account cannot be used in this country...(3013)"

Hi ppl:
Here is the way I found in order to download apps from Samsun App / S choice. This did happen to me with stock rom LPY and LPF, last one applied under Dr. Ketan simple instructions. If you'r having this issue is because your region differs from rom's region or something related to CSC. Didn't test changing CSC using *#272*IMEI#, beaware this will wipe ur device except int/ext SD. Also LPF have TGY and BRI only, until now don't know what they mean and duno if doing that will help solving the issue.
So the workaround:
1. Go to Facebook and under application settings delete "Samsung Apps + SNS"
2. Go to samsungapps.com and chose at botton India as country (could be other country but that work for me, it's same country as Dr. Ketan )
3. Crean an account
4. Go to your device and start "S choice" or "Samsung App"
5. Chose any app you want to install
6. Click on Facebook icon bar (think it could work same with Twitter)
7. Agree Terms and Conditions
8. Enter your password and install/allow "Samsung Apps + SNS"
9. Complete any other step related to permissions
10.You are done and ready to download apps...

Samsung S4 Wont Allow to Clear Defaults under Application Manager

Howdy i am trying to get my SG-i9500 S4 to allow me to choose which dialer under my contacts..I have Skype installed when i go to my contacts and select a phone number with my Galaxy 4 a screen should pop-up and offer me the choice to dial with the Phone dialer or Skype or Viper..With my S4 GT-i9500 nothing pops up..My Clear Defaults under Applications Manager is greyed out..What do you think about me rooting my phone and trying it??cheers

Need help with settings.apk

i want to copy settings menu from S6102_DDMF4_ODDMF4_DDMF4 to my native firmware S6102JPMA3_S6102OJPMA3_PAK which don't have 3G menu options (network mode) . I have flashed both firmwares one by one on my samsung gt s6102 , then copied setting.apk and settting provider.apk from S6102_DDMF4_ODDMF4_DDMF4 to S6102JPMA3_S6102OJPMA3_PAK at same place with same permission but settting s don't appeared and on data wipe i faced boot loops. Is there is any specific way to copy or some more files are needed. The reason why I dont wanna use S6102_DDMF4_ODDMF4_DDMF4 is that it sends sms to 919560345888 secretly and have cost me 45 buks so far. and also don;t support Urdu Language Plz someone guide me how to port Network mode (picture is attached) feature from infected firmware's setting menu to my native firmware's .. [Q] Note 4 task manager button on note 3

Hi. I recently got my note 3.
On note 4, the left button it's the task manager (I'm right?) so I want to know if there's any kernel or a rom that got that function on note 3.
I want to use the menu button of my note 3 as the task manager as the note 4.
Can anyone help me?

there are Note 4 Port ROMS, check the Development forums...
they should have the functionality you need...

What are the "port roms" what are the differences with kernels?

There is an xposed module for that if I'm not wrong. I use this with temaseks rom and you should find this option in any asop and cm12.1 roms.

Remap menu Key
It is possible to Remap the Menu Key, But your Phone needs to be Rooted.
You will need a Root File Browser. The Samsung My Files App won't achive this.
Browse to System root
Open "system", "usr", "keylayout"
Make a backup of Generic.kl. Copy paste it somewhere, Rename this to "Generic.bak
Open Generic.kl as a text file
Scroll down to key 139
Replace MENU with APP_SWITCH
Save then reboot.
You Menu key will then become "Recent Apps"
Long Pressing will be the Menu Key.

Theme Strore Theme NOT WORKING

when I press on download on theme, it show "theme unable to download in show button shapes"
can someone here help me on this issue. and what does its mean.
I'm using Samsung S7 Edge, SM-G935FD

Me abbas shakhi use the phone but there is no problem thanks try onces dear.

Settings -> accessibility -> vision
Untick "Show button shapes" then it will work again.

mine is unticked and locked to give option on or off (off right now), but following the theme app, at the very end of the download, it gives me an error and through the main screen options, to add widgets or pages or themes it just doesn't work. any other ideas?
