Hey Guys,
on Thursday I installed LineageOS 14.1 nightly on my Moto X Play.
Now I think I only enable to improve the Rom by communicating errors in it.
1. Yesterday I no more got notifications automatically. After a reboot of the device everything was okay and messages became received automatically and I was notified automatically again.
2. Today I noticed that if I use the flight mode and end it after a while it no more connects to mobile data. If I search for mobile network in settings the device finds network, but it only connects to telephone network. Only after a reboot the device logs in to mobile data. If I only use flight mode for some seconds the issue does not occur.
I wish you all a nice weekend and greetings from Germany

Received my new OPT 1 month ago and have not been able to use it, Wi-Fi and SIM issues.
The unit will loose all network connectivity right off the set-up screen if you wait for 2 or 3 minutes, if you actually enter a valid Wi-Fi code, it won't connect but you reboot from there and it connects to the credentials you had just provided prior to reboot, I'f i complete the full setup and I'm lucky enough to not have the device reboot randomly, it will work until an app or the phone tries to access anything related to localisation, the Localisation icon will popup and then Wi-Fi and SIM's are both disconnected, Wi-Fi eventual comes back if you turn off the localisation icon but SIM's won't until you reboot the device.
I've flashed every official OOS ROM and tried on each same results.
Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Hello everybody,
Have bought an H870DS and apart from the missing root permissions happy with it.
The problem now is that when I'm at work it loses the wireless connection after some time and stops seeing networks (see picture). The only thing that helps is rebooting or switching aircraft mode on and off (in the long run it is not a solution) and then it keeps the connection for some time. Happens only in the work environment and not at home. I already deleted system cache data and could still factory reset. Happens also with disabled data saver, VPN, alarm, etc.
I have another week to return the device. Can someone help me.
Install LG bridge software on your PC and update your firmware, even if you're running the latest revision of Android for your phone.
I have strange issue,
- Issue started after updating phone to 6.0.1, phone cannot see any wifi network.
- When I turn Airplane mode on, wifi works normally, my wifi and neighbors' are all being seen and connected to normally
- When I turn Airplane mode off, and phone connect to mobile network, the phone stops seeing any wifi network.
- I am in Syria, there is a possibility this is new thing in new softwares to not work properly when phone detects Syrian mobile network, something to do with sanctions and politics, just not sure of it, and hope not.
Tried following:
- Reset device
- some dialer codes
- changing router channel
- my phone has no advanced options for wifi
- Reverting back to old software, all works normally, but phone keeps asking to be updated, and not really convenient to have to stay with old release
My information
- Smartphone: Samsung Galaxy XCover 3
- Software: 6.0.1 27 Oct 2017 update
- Phone not rooted
Dear all,
I'm experiencing a somewhat weird issue with my Xiaomi Mi A1 (Oreo) which started a couple of months ago.
My WiFi keeps switching on an off.
* When I turn off WiFi, 4G comes up. After a few seconds (I can leave the phone unlocked at the desk, it almost happens instantaneously) Wifi turns on by itself and connects (just as if I switched it on manually).
* When I activate the mobile Hotspot, it switches off after a few seconds, disconnecting all devices connected, only to switch on the regular Wifi after a few seconds and trying to connect to the next network.
* In random cases, Wifi just switches off despite being connected to a working network and while I'm using it.
This is somewhat annoying, and I didn't find any solutions online. Any ideas? Any more information you need (sorry, I'm new here)?
EDIT: This is not the "Turn on Wifi automatically" setting, and it is also not related to location services.
Flash stock rom, sounds like a software bug. Otherwise, return it while you still can.
Thanks.
I use MyPhoneExplorer to sync with a Windows 10 PC All seemed to work perfectly with the Android app over wifi.
The strange thing is today when I clicked sync on the PC it caused the Android app on the phone to start, as expected ... but then gave me a pop up msg that it could not connect. I checked and wifi was switched OFF, so was turn wifi on automatically, open network notification & wifi scanning, all turned off. So the phone should not be waking up when MFE on PC attempts to connect but something is obviously on & a signal is getting through from PC to activate the Android app, even though the data transfer channel is blocked.
How come? Is this a bug (Android or Essential)?
