Usb to PC issues - Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Questions and Answers

SOLVED:
I just went back to 6.01 android. Nougat also messed up my camera app. Samsung needs to fix their ****. Never should have left Nexus.
My s7 edge on android 7.0 (official update)
randomly stopped showing in file explorer on my PC.
I have USB debugging on and usb mode set to MTP.
it makes a noise when connecting and shows as
MTP in the "Devices and Printers" location
Device manager shows
SM-G935F
SAMSUNG Mobile USB composite device
SAMSUNG Android ADB Interface
I have tried to uninstall the drivers and then reinstall but so far nothing.
Different USB cables don't work.
It was just working recently
thanks to anyone who helps
UPDATE:
now it shows as "MTP" in devices and as SM-G935F in device manager.
I managed to get access to the sd card from the PC but ONLY when in TWRP recovery install tab.

Note 3 USB connection problem.

I am trying to connect my Note 3 to my computer and it will not mount as a device that is visible under windows. It was taken for service and when it came back it only connects to the PC as an ADB device, but not MTP when it is fully booted. I can flash firmware while in Odin, I can connect in bootloader mode, I just can not make it visible to transfer files from the computer directly to the phone via cable. Under device manager it says 'SAMSUNG Android ADB Interface'. USB debugging changes nothing either. My S3 shows ADB and MTP but the Note does not. I have attempted with multiple cables on 2 computers and get the same result. If anyone has a suggestion of a way to fix this without having to wipe again, I'd love to hear it. Thanks in advance.

MTP/PTP suddenly stopped working...but strangely works while in TWRP recovery?

I've had my 6P for about 2weeks, MTP has been working fine since the beginning.
However, yesterday when I connected it to my Windows 10 laptop, explorer does not show the Nexus 6P device.
Before anyone asks, yes, I have selected File Transfers under the drop down menu. I tried PTP too but it's the same problem.
I've tried almost everything, installing/uninstalling all sorts of drivers. ADB/Fastboot drivers work perfectly. Under device manager, my computer recognizes when my 6P is plugged in as "MTP USB Device", but is unable to get anymore information on it for some reason.
I then tried putting it in TWRP recovery, and surprisingly, my computer is able to recognize this as a new usb device "Nexus 6P", and I can access the internal storage without problems.
Rebooting back to system, the device is unrecognizable once again.
I first suspected it to be because I updated windows 10 yesterday, but the same problem exists on another PC.
Does anyone know what is going on here? I really don't wanna have to reboot to recovery just to transfer files over USB, and I know there are wireless transfer options but I want to fix this issue.
Thanks!

Bricked Note 3, Odin won't recognize device

So I'm trying to fix a friends bricked note 3, however Odin v3.07 will not recognize the device. I've downloaded samsung kies, however its still not working, not even my PC would recognize the device. The cable and ports are definitely not the issue, since my other phone can be recognized. Any help would be appreciated, thanks .
(if it helps, usb debugging isn't on)

Are you using the original Samsung USB cable? I find that some Samsung phones are very picky about USB cables and USB ports used with Odin.
> I am not sure if Odin will recognize the device if debugging is turned off.
> Anti-Virus & Firewall programs can interfere with adb and/or device connection... open task manager and check the list of running programs as some background services could be the culprit.
> In Task Manager, Also check if adb and/or device driver is running, as at least one of those will be needed for your device to be recognized.
> If drivers are missing for the device, you can download Samsung mobile usb drivers from the Samsung website directly, but if you have Kies 3, chances are these are already installed but not always, especially if Kies 3 isn't even recognizing the device.
> Odin doesn't update live, make sure you plug in your phone first and once the device is acknowledged connected by the PC, open Odin and check for the blue bar in the top left confirming device added.

S7 Edge not recognized

Hello! First, sorry for my bad english. In December after I install Android Nougat with Odin my pc doesn't recognized my phone. I tried different method but no one resolve my problem. I tried to :
1. Install drivers manually
2. Activate USB debugging from developers option
3. Connect my phone to different PC (Win 7/8/10 and Mac)
4. Factory reset
5. Change cable.
At device mannager appear Unknown USB Device and I install Samsung drivers manually.
My phone is not rooted.
PLEASE HELP ME!
does your phone charge when the cable is plugged into your computer ?
Prior to upgrade what type of connection did you have MTP or something else ?
My phone is charging when i plug in computer and is selected mtp connection .

Samsung SM-7387V Download Mode "USB Device Not recognized"

So I'm trying to flash a Samsung SM-7387V Galaxy Tab A with new firmware as it currently has Knox / Mobicontrol
So it is locked down and you can't do a factory reset. I'm using Odin 3.13.1 and have the firmware which has the 4 files needed. I was able to initially get it to show up on Com6 is Odin but after a few min it complained it couldn't connect to the com port. After that any time I'm in Download mode windows complains it doesn't recognize the device. No amount of uninstalling / re-installing the Samsung USB Drivers, changing USB ports, windows reboots has fixed anything.
The only time I can get Winblows to detect the USB device properly is when booting it up normally.
So any suggestions on what gives? Also suggestions on if I'm on the right path to restore the device to remove Mobicontrol.

Additional notes: I've tried on a second PC with a different USB cable, same results as soon as you connect it in the boot loader mode. Both systems complain it can't recognize the device. Windows 10 systems.
I was going to include some photos of the boot screen / windows error, but it seems you can't attach photos or new members can't?
New here so this was my first post, do first posts show up automatically as it seems to be a ghost town? Not sure if this topic is viewable? Thanks!
