Are you using lollipop stock ROM?
Maybe you can try battery saver option in your phone setting

Hi Friend,

Umm I had to replace my A6000 motherboard and was charged 2500rs was it nominal

Mine also replaced it cost me 2800rs

@The Hard Gamer, @cobrarated
Guys can you tell me the reason what made you do that?
And btw, IMO around 2.5k is pretty normal. I had got my screen broken on Asus Zenfone 4 once. And the service centre guys were asking for 4.5k to replace the screen for a 5k device. I asked them if they were out of their mind but they said it's companies rate and they can't to anything in that. Later, I bought a display for 1.5k from ebay and replaced it myself.

The reason was I connected my Lenovo to 2amp charger which gives approximately about 1.5mA and leneovo only supports maximum USB current or 850mA even I tried with power bank then also same thing was happened ....:silly:

Wrong battery percentage

Hello everybody!
I have a Note 3 N900, 5.0, L19, dr ketan rom. This problem existed even on stock, and on stock KitKat.
I have a problem with the battery percentage. The battery percentage goes down at a rate of, for example when browsing the web on Chrome, 2%-4% a minute!
Overall, the battery life is not good during to this problem, as you guys can imagine. Tried to do a battery cycle (emptying the battery and charging to full) with no success...
Bought 2 new (!) batteries, but still, with no luck.
What the he** can be the problem if not from the ROM itself?
Thank you!

EXACT same with my s4 i9500. no matter which rom, give it official lollipop, custom roms, cm12, cm11, official 4.4, my battery sucks in all of them. my battery decreases about 2%/minute with ANDROID system being the most battery hug in battery details, in ever rom i use since couple of months back.

i guess this is bcz of the phone itself not the battery. couple of yrs ago i had a nokia 5800, and after 6 months of use, it started to lose charge. even without using it it would stay for slightly more than 1 hour. i got it to repair center, and they tested out with new batteries, etc, and still they couldnt solve it so they exchanged it with N8. i sugges you to take it to the repair shop before the warranty ends if it hasnt ended yet. or should get a replacement unit. my s4 has 2 years of warranty btw. i also need to visit the repair shop some time.

hhhhhhh well, the warranty has already expired, but even if I had one, I couldn't get it to a repair center to fulfill my warranty, because, well, I'm rooted
Well, when the phone isn't in use, it won't lose almost much at all... It was always when the screen is on, for some reason.... The weird thing is, that I can't see anything out of the ordinary in BBS/Wakelock Detector/Battery section on settings....
Weird......

Here in Qatar they're too stupid for everything so all I need to do is install a UAE official kitkat without rooting and then giving them. Also this year on may, a hardware-wise problem happened to my Xperia tab z, and it wasn't booting up at all. I knew it was nothing to do with software, it was a hardware failure so they replaced it and it was rooted. However since jt wasnt booting up they had no way to check root. Idk if I've been cursed at or something, every device of mine needs to go to repair at least once in its lifetime. I have recently bought an HP laptop and now the screen doesn't turn off when I close the lid, it doesn't even detect the lid at all. This also hardware wise...

Replacing is not an option for me as I have no extra money to spend right now, while I can't send it to Samsung center and claim for warranty as my warranty has expired already...
No other solutions?

Can you give us more specific info about what's using your battery?
Install BetterBatteryStats and send some screenshots, this is an extreme problem I can tell. There must be something keeping your phone in full power all the time.
How hot is your device? Believe it or not, the battery gets affected extremely by heat since it Lithium-ion.
What apps do you have installed? Apps like Facebook and similar will cause consumption.
There's a lot of things that affect the battery.

Take a look at these.
I, personally, can't see anything special. Do you?
According do those screenshots you have excellent battery life! I don't even get half of that. The screen of your note 3 takes up lots of power. What I can suggest is to change you max Cpu frequency to 1490mhz and go for the intellidemand governor. The snapdragon 800 is powerful enough to run smoothly with that frequency. Try it and report back if it did any changes.

But as I wrote, it's a N900, so I have the Exynos, does the frequency you suggested will change?

Oh right! I'm sorry, I missed that part. But just try to underclock your CPU a little bit and you should see a increase in battery life. Just try whatever frequency you want, the only thing that might happen is a slow device (you basically can't break the phone with underclocking, in fact, it's better for the CPU). Remember to change your governor to Intellidemand or Intellimand (can't remember the exact name).

Ok, even with two new batteries and a few battery cycles with them, the percentage won't stabilize... Today the battery ran down to zero, and the phone continued to run (on 0%) for about 20 min..............
After replacing the battery, I was on 100%, dialed *#0228# and did the "RUN TEST" and the percentage went down to 23%. Dialed again and it went up to 82% and charged it. I can't seem to find a godda** solution for this problem!
What can I do to solve this?!!

My SM-A500FU's battery drains really fast. Any help, please?

My GALAXY A5 (SM-A500FU)'s battery drains very fast but for the last week only. I'm chatting a lot recently but last time I checked and it went low 1% in two minutes. Then put it on the table, turned off everything and after 5 minutes it went down another 1%.
I have no idea what had happened but I need to charge my phone twice a day. I've installed GSAM Battery Monitor also but can't find an app which uses battery rescources. The System UI and the screen use it mostly.
I'd try with a factory reset first, do you think it's worth the try or take it back to my carrier immediately?
Thank you for your help.
Try flashing a custom rom, but my brother had the same problem and he had to change the battery (but his battery became very big)

Thanks. I wouldn't flash a custom ROM yet, it's still in the warranty period and I hope Samsung would release MM once...
I'm afraid I should get a new battery.
Your brother's battery got big because he might got a bigger one, not a 2300mAh one.
I'm going to try that factory reset but don't think that'd help.:crying:

I don't know if you have to get a new battery and if yes, you have to remove the screen before, maybe, if you haven't void you warranty, you can port your device in a samsung centre (I don't know how it's called in english)

I have already contacted the support and because I'm still in the first 12 months warranty period they can give brand new accessories (charger, battery, anything) and a spare phone for the time of repair what I need to give back once I get my repaired phone. Correct.

slow charging

Hey
last week I have noticed that my phone is charging really slow, I even check with ampere and it says I'm only getting 500-1000ma (mostly around 650ma) I also tried different charger official and not but no different. Even went to develop option and changed to charge but nothing seems to fix it.
What else could I try do to fix this issue?

Stock sucks I would try a different ROM. The higher the percentage of batter the lower the amps. 1.5 at 0% and over 60% its dropping like 0.9 . Should take roughly 2 and a bit hours from 0-100.
Are you using the official charger or another one? I've noticed only the OP charger is able to charge the phone at 1.8 amps while the rest are ungodly slow. I don't know if that's by design or the other chargers I have suck (a few motorola and a couple chinese random ones.)

Are you using tempered glass screen protectors? this is common issue on turbo charged phone when using those. I have 2 moto g4 plus and both act the same.
Cheap chargers and cheap screen protectors will do that.
Maybe it's a software issue, try flashing cyanogenmod.

I had the same problem
I also faced a similar issue, i.e. ghost touch when charging.
The screen-guard is certainly not the issue, as the problem occurs only when charging.
Try different charges to confirm that the problem is not charger specific.
I found on the internet that it was a software issue and can be fixed by visiting a service center.
I had tried factory resetting but it was of no use.
Since I had discovered the issue on the first day, I got it replaced from amazon.
You should try updating the software.
Download and flash the stock ROM.
Or try a custom ROM.
If nothing helps, un-root your phone and take it to a service center.

Hi Abdelaziz,
The issue you are facing coz u used another charger, the charger probably caused damage to your battery, and as u have mentioned that this issue has also occured when u are not charging..that means you battery is surely affected. and as per my past xperience this will keep getting worse. i will xplain u why this happens.
moto g4 plus's processor throttles at a very high rate which inturn asks for more power from the battery to keep it going. and since your battery is already damaged by ur another charger.. ur battery is unable to keep up with ur device..and that leads to ghost touching. automatic operating..u will also tend to face battery drain.
solution: Get ur battery replaced ASAP. i hope this helps.:fingers-crossed:

You sure its not just bad batteries? I didnt even try to buy a Samsung battery when I recently replaced mine... too many junk knockoffs/used/refurbs. I went with after market. Your issue sounds like a lot of the bad battery stories I read about though. I always charge a new battery with the phone off, and then run down to 1% or 2%. I never use fast charge either

Where are you getting your batteries, and how are you charging it when you get it? "New to you" batteries doesnt necessarily mean "brand new", and can still be junk
no it's original from Samsung store branch
