If you manage to get for us the N files needed or someone who has the Nougat files , we can work something out. Otherwise till Chinese variant release the Full N Update.

from what i can see, this is probably the OTA use to update from MM to N in the chinese variant. so meaning you must be in the software require to be able to update from MM to N using this file.
still there is a few partitions i'll need to create a Stack for the Chinese variant, cuz here in this zip they are in a form of Patch and not full.
Can someone port this for TWRP for chinese version?

Yep, I'm on B13 (A2017) so thought I'd give it a shot...

Apparently not the upgrade from B13 (MM) as it isn't detected as an upgrade file by my Chinese A2017...

Could I ask you some questions please?
I installed this package and this seemed to change something in the bootloader. I can boot up, use my device with no bugs. But I can't enter bootloader.
Trying to flash twrp recovery from EDL caused me a soft brick. After that I can't even enter recovery.
Then I managed to flash the recovery.img, extracted from your pakage.
Now I want to go back the stock Zte 6.0 rom. But the recovery cant flash the update.zip, which I got from zte china website. It said that my device had a blank "ro.product.device". Trying the DrakenFx system zip failed the verification.
Could you please guide me how to go back? This rom has root app but press Root button does nothing. And I cant enable OEM unlock under Developer Option.
Thank you in advance.

1. I just cant stand the Mifavor anymore so I take the risk and install it.
3. Nobody told me it was OK to flash it. But in the end my device boot up and run flawlessly.
2. and 4. I have the A2017 4G/64Gb Chinese variant.
Curiosity cant kill my device but it leaves me no way back.....
Ps: As I looked into the build.prop inside the official A2017 B11 package and this pakage, I saw the stock has "ro.product.name=P996A03" while the N pakage has "ro.product.name=P996A03_N"

Hi,
I'm on TWRP, I would like to flash the stock recovery for B560 (Marshmallow) in order to install an OTA update that have just appeared for me. Someone provide me with the file please.
You can find stock recovery in the UPDATE.APP for your device. Unzip it with Huawei update extractor. https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2433454

Use the Huawei Update Extractor to extract the recovery.img from your UPDATE.APP file. Then just flash it using the adb command line and you should be good to go
Thanks guys for your help, I've updated my phone through OTA successfully
Just one question, does the same recovery work with all the builds?
I also would like to know why I'm still on B561 meanwhile there is plenty of users out there on B890 and B88x... I heared there is some people who got EMUI 4.1 already, is there anyway to get it? I'm on North Africa tho.

Yes, same recovery works... I've been using the same old Lollipop recovery till now...
If your didn't get OTA and would like to go to that build then you could always flash your way through.
You can get that too, EMUI 4.1, here the link
http://forum.xda-developers.com/p8l...lution-b890-emui-4-1-dual-sim-t3496502/page10
But the project has been abandoned...
P.S. You'll need to have your bootloader unlocked to flash

Yesterday I had this issue, it's more easy than it seems. In Revolution Recovery for Nougat, flash the update.app ZIP with 6.0 , it will show you a lot of errors, but don't worry, it's ok. After this flash than DUALSIMOEM.zip and after that shutdown your phone and use the 3 buttons method to automatically ,,update" to B161.

I don't have the chinese version, but you have to unlock the bootloader and install TWRP, then you'll be able to install the stock ROM. Try to use bkores's axon7toolkit
Also try searching for this (in Q&A), I'm 100% sure this has been asked at least twice before. You could've gotten an answer much sooner if you had tried to find an old post that asks the same

Or you can just go the easy way and try using the axon7toolkit, it will ask you what model it is, and you can put A2017

Just update to B13, it doesn't matter if the latest OTA doesn't appear, you'll probably need to install more than one OTA. Also, if you'll do it this way don't unlock the phone until you get the latest version.

You can use a flashable system zip and use it on TWRP, I think DrakenFX made some for the A2017. Otherwise you need to flash the a2017 stock recovery on it (with a flashable zip like tron1's or drakenfx's) and then use the update feature on the phone.

It may not be as simple as one file.
You need to flash stock AL10 recovery.img.
Then you need to put the update.app from correct region AL10 stock firmware on your sd card. Switch off your phone.
Then hold power, volume up and volume down at the same time. Your phone should automatically update. If you get failed to update message, eg, it goes to 5% then fails, it means you have the wrong firmware. You have to keep on trying stock AL10 firmwares until success. Start with the right region first, like the region your in and then go from there.
Check somboons threads. Read the posts regarding your firmware. Also check SRK tool lod Chong version, also from somboons. That might be very helpful.

Sorry for late reply. What firmware did you have before downgrade?
Either way, you may not be able to use a recent firmware. Your best option is to find the same firmware you had when you got your phone, follow the instructions I gave you in earlier reply. Once your phone is working, you may have to manually update your firmware. Don't just use system update because that can create a lot of problems for your device. Just keep reading the somboons posts because there very helpful.

Hi everyone, today I will be telling you all how to get back to stock as long as your bootloader states "PHONE Unlocked" and "FRP Unlock"
You will need to install this, this is super duper important! https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-9/development/tool-flash-official-firmware-recovery-t3769279
When installing, you will see the error: "E: Unknown command []]"
DO NOT BE AFRAID!
That is supposed to happen lol.
Installation procedure -
1. Flash this TWRP: https://drive.google.com/file/d/18uHjW73Th8iYKIs5m_QgwleMIOjsZd7S/view?usp=sharing
2. Wipe everything except SD card, then choose "Format data" to decrypt device
3. Reboot once again into TWRP (NOTE: If you are using USB OTG cable, make sure to plug it in AFTER TWRP is fully booted and ready to go, if you do it early, you get an error, which is weird lol. EDIT: Not sure if this error is still present in the new twrp, but it's never bad to play it safe.)
4. Flash HuRUpdater, make sure the file names are correct!
5. Reboot into stock recovery
6. Factory reset and wipe cache partition
7. Reboot
This method also enables themes to work again, so no need to worry about that!
Lots of thanks to @zxz0O0 to providing this awesome tool
And more thanks to the OpenKirin community for helping me out when flashing this! :good::good::good:

hi op,
does this work on L24 the usa version?
What update.zip file did you use? can you point to the link?
Also, does this update take the recovery to stock with no TWRP?

Yes, after flashing this via twrp, if you reboot once again to recovery, it is stock recovery, not twrp.

You need to download all 3 files and rename them.

What do you need to rename them to? Are the instructions for that in the thread you posted for the tool?

I updated using the script. Thank you.
I see the OTA update but it failed to install. Do I need to relock the bootloader?

I would assume so. I sent a support ticket to honor regarding the issue (I had the same problem as you) but I went back to custom ROMs so I can't help you here sorry.

Did you try running the update again? I had a similar problem after I unrooted and reinstalled the stock recovery. It failed the first time but when I rebooted and did it again it worked.
