Bought my Mum and Dad E5s for christmas. They dont install much but my mum is having problems with her microphone. She can only be heard on calls if she goes to speakerphone. Having googled a lot it seems that disabling "OK Google" fixes the issue.
But .... its only an issue on my mums phone and not my dads. Any thoughts ? Anyone seen this ? I dont have the phones to hand and my parents are in their 70s and not too techie
Nobody ?
Did you ever get this fixed?
My e5 suffers similar problems and the bluetooth is really up and down connecting to my car. Often the mic issue occurs after I've used external connections or bluetooth and I have to restart the phone to resolve the problem

Hi all....
I have had the above stereo BT headphones for about 1 month which I use with my Vario 2 and I have to say the sound quality is awesome.
My questions are (to anybody who has this combination or similar):-
- Why when you answer a call and then finish the call (through the headphones) does it sometimes resume the music through the loudspeaker on the phone rather than the headphones ? I find its really inconsistent...sometimes back through the headphones and other times through the Vario's loudspeaker ????
- Also when I go to answer a call (that is ringing through my headphones) the voice comes through on the Vario rather than my headphones ??? Again...seems to be inconsistent and I'm sure I'm not doing anything differently??
- Is anybody else experiencing similar problems with this combination
It seems that the above problems I'm experiencing might have the same root cause and I need to know if I'm doing something wrong or whether its a 'compatibility' issue between the two. I don't have this problem with the Samsung X830 I use with the DS-970's .
I'd be so grateful for any clarification on these issues....
Thanks all

Strange behavior indeed...try a hardreset and/or rom upgrade...and please look in the forums for the usual a2dp and bluetooth fixes/hacks for your hermes.
BTW in Hermes->Hermes accessories already is a thread about this device/accessory combination.
Hello
Since i bought my htc hd2 in November 2009, I never find the solution to call people with my bluetooth headset. The bip sound that should tell me when to pronounce the name doesnt work well and sometimes people call me on the cell phone, i answzer with the bluetooth headset and I receive the voice in the cellphone and not in the headset. Someone can help please
Thanks a lot
I have the same problem. I've tried 3 different bluetooth headsets. Some days it's fine. Even turning the phone off and on doesn't fix it a lot of the time. I'm actually kind of ticked at the HD2; I thought upgrading from the T-mo Wing would be great, but the HD2 had the freezing problem, and now with the new firmware, it's like something is running in the background (although it's not). I've been using a wired headset when it's critical that I don't have an issue.
I've got a Plantronics Discovery 925 headsset I used on my G1 all the time. With the Vibrant, though, it's not even discovering it. The device never shows up on the phone's bluetooth scanner.
I've read about some people having bluetooth issues. Is this something anyone else has more info on? Should I return the phone (could my bluetooth be broken)? Or is this a software issue I hope a new BT Stack can fix?
Any info would be great!
thanks,
jeff
I am having problems with the vibrant finding my car.. I had both the my touch and my touch slide and both worked fine ... Any suggestions.
My Motorola S9 headset (not the newer HD Version) works better on my Vibrant than they did on the G1. Bluetooth was laggy as hell with these on the G1, almost to the point of not being able to use them. So far no lag, controls work fine.Haven't used them for a call yet. Avatar sounds really good through em!! Now I need the extended battery like I had on the G1.......
My Vibrant can't find my headset (a Samsung) or my hands-free speakerphone (a Jabra Cruiser). I'm going to bring them to a store sometime this week and see if their in-store Vibrant has the same issues with my bluetooth stuff.
I've just started getting the GPS problems that everyone is complaining about, but bluetooth has never worked with my devices.
I have searched and searched and I am actually currently waiting two new Jabra Extreme2 headsets from Jabra.... but I don't have a lot of faith that the problem will be solved.
The scenario is simple.. Calling and listening to music is fine. The issue is on incoming calls, and only MOST of the time.
If the headset is on and connected (bluetooth) the ringtone will start to stutter and the announcement in the headset will be "call from " and a number instead of the actual name in the contact list. At this point the phone will be frozen. The call will roll to voicemail. The only way to shut the headphone up from repeating the number continuously is to turn it off. Once the headset is off, you can usually get to the pulldown and turn off bluetooth. It will take awhile (minute or two) to release, but it will. At this point you can turn on the headset and turn on bluetooth again and make a call without issue. Maybe even receive a call... but about 8 out of 10 calls will result in the above.
My wife and I each have an Epic 4g and a Jabra Extreme2 headset. The issue is the same on both phones. We have older Jabra BT530 headsets that other than sounding like crap. (old bluetooth tech) work great, no issues.
I'm not convinced the issue is the headset. I mean really, there is no "software" for the headset. It's just a bluetooth connection, so why is the phone freezing? I tried different ringtones as I thought that might be the issue, but it isn't.
Does anyone have any thoughts or insight, or any idea if it could actually be the headset causing the phone to freeze.
Also, does anyone know how to disable the PBAB as that seems to be related but without being able to disable it, I can't confirm.
Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated. Anyone using the Extreme2 ?
Well, I have a Moto Finiti Bluetooth and I am not having any of the issues you mentioned so far. Thankfully its connecting better than earlier ROM releases on my Epic

Hi
I have a weird problem when talking via Bluetooth devices connected to my Galaxy S3.
When I talk via a Bluetooth device, whether it is a car kit or earphone, after few minutes the phone speaker turns on and I hear myself.
In order to get back to the Bluetooth device, so I can hear the other side, I have to turn the headset from the device and turn it on again so the phone speaker is off again.
This problem was started since using 4.1.2 roms (XXEMC2/XXEMB5). I was using the leaked 4.2.1 before, and I had no problem with this issue at all.
This is very annoying. Has anyone experienced the same behavior?
