Forgive me if this is in the wrong thread.
Path of War worked just fine on my V10 before the screen switched and stuck on the Life's Good bootup screen. Bad joke IMO.
Anyone else have an app that just hangs?

So I followed the instructions I found in another thread.
Took out the old .png file. Made a new one... named it and made it hidden within the Windows folder and it works. But it's weird.
When I SR, the cingy splash loads up, then flickers for a bit and the backlight comes on, then my splash comes up like it should. Is that flickering normal? I didn't notice when I had the stock WinMo splash up there.

i am on my 2nd 8525 and they both flipped out on the cingular splash screen (not why i returned my first one) so i would say its normal from my experience
Yeah, I've noticed that and I haven't even changed my splash screen yet. And I'm still on my first 8525.

My Vario II is dying
The screen repeatedly "fades to white". That is: It will boot normally with the TMobile logo screen, but then it looks as though the contrast/brightness is being turned up to complete whiteness. If I apply finger pressure momentarily to the screen surround just above the left soft-key, it instantly reverts to normal for a few seconds, then starts fading again. The touch-screen function appears to work normally. If I leave it, it becomes irrecoverable, and needs a reboot.I've disassembled it, and the point where I press it appears to coincide with the connection from the screen to the flexible connector stuck to the back.
Sounds like a new screen needed?

I think the same, but I first would try to make a backup and then do a hardreset.

I had thought it was just a display problem, but for the fact that it eventually locks up too...

My Problem is randomly freezing and white screen... Sometimes it first freezes after that starting to be white screen... I tried many rom but the result is same. Can it be hardware problem or something else... Thanks (and sorry about my english )
Scenario: I was playing... air hockey...and you know how that game can get intense?! Well I was jumping up and down and somebody was calling me but I was too into it to check it. Then it stopped and someone (Maybe same person) called again so I paused the game and checked my phone, it was just a black screen. The lights on the capacitive buttons were working, buttons were working (because the phone was vibrating) and the actual phone was still working but just couldn't see anything. I pulled the battery, turned it back on, put it in my pocket and started playing again. At the end of the game (Yeah, I lost) I checked and it was still black. The screen wasn't off, it was just black LED's I guess. I could scroll to unlock and everything, and now its just stuck like that. Stuck as in I can't see anything...
Not really asking for help because I think the phone messed up, but I'm just saying that the phone might not be perfectly built, or atleast mine wasn't...
T-Mobiles closed right now so I'ma call tomorrow morning.

It is an interesting DEVELOPMENT, to say the least.
Maybe he should take pictures and have them DEVELOPED so we have a better understanding!
I had a similar issue but when starting the phone, I would just get a black screen but with the capacitive buttons working but no widgets and no access to apps. Menu options works because I was able to access settings but that's about it. A guy from tmobile forum told me to do a factory reset as maybe it just a minor hiccup in the phone manufacturing so I did and ever since, I have not seen the black screen and I have done a few reboots just to check. Goodluck!
No I just can't see anything. It's like all the LED's are black, I can't factory reset it or anything. Unless someone can do it without looking at the screen....
same thing literally just happened to be about 20 minutes ago. i am extremely frustrated. the screen is just black but its like i can move around on the phone. does anyone know whats going on???

After another freeze, I was able to actually connect via ADB. The shell was working fine.
Anyways, I did a logcat, and I saw the attached code looping.

It just keeps looping on these audio logs.
Any thoughts?

seem like i have broken my mytouch
yesterday it had a very very nasty fall
i thought display gone
but i work whole day with noproblem but today i switch it off for charging and after that it in constant loop
splash screen is shown then it restarts again and loop goes on.
Even if i take out the battery and again put battery back in it again switch on itself.
Only one thing i can do is go to bootloader.
I try to flash recovery again but adb say no device attached not even windows recognizing that i have attached my phone.
Now i am downloading radio(pd15img) if it works
new radio got updated but problem still persist
anyone knows whats the problem and how to fix it
