Hi, i have a p8 lite ALE-L21, unfortunately it felt in the toilet.
I cleaned it, make it dry, now i am stuck with a bootloop, it starts up till the huawei logo and resets again.
Strangely enough i can enter fastboot, unlocked my phone and put the images on it, i can even install TWRP.
But still there is the reset problem.
Can someone give me any other idea how to rescue the phone?
Sorry for my english, its not my native language.
Thx in advance.

How long did you let it dry. I sometimes clean my keyboard with water and it takes like 1 week to dry until it starts working like it should.
I put it in a bowl of rice for 2 days.
Search for my post in troubleshoot topic, i had thesame problem.
Try to wipe whit twrp dapvin, cache etc (not the internal memory)
I did wipe the cache in twrp, i will try de rest.
Thank you for your help.
I have wiped dalvin, cache etc, problem still exist.
I think that it is a hardware problem(mainboard).
I will look further.
I bought a secondhand p8 lite, i replaced the motherboard and it is working again.
This thread can be closed.
Thanks for the help.

Hi guyz !
Well, i've a little (too big) problem with my Defy. Yesterday i installed CM7 with this gapps. No problems with the phone, all was good and I installed all my favorite apps !
But...
I always switch off my phones all night long and switch on the morning. This morning was not like all mornings. I turned on the phone and poof ! it no longer works !
Makes me a bootload. I see the google's logo and the CM7's bugdroid with the turning and after the unlock screen. Two secs after, the bugdroid come back, then the unlock screen, bugdroid/unlock/bugdroid/unlock, ect...
I told me i must only flash again the rom, but the problem are again here, just the unlock screen is not the welcome screen !
I tried to flash with RSDlite but it does not recognize my device, yet i've the drivers on my PC.
In case off, i've a recovery.
What can I do to save my phone ? Sorry for my bad english and thants to help me !
flash stock rom again with rsd clear wipe from stock root reflash cm7
Thanks to anwser Nikolas60.
I tried but RSD does not recognize my device. :/ I tried to install again the driver, but no anwser from the software.
Guys, i downgraded my U8800 from 2.3.6 to 2.2.2 using dload folder in sd card, After complete the phone power off and when a try to power up the phone they just give a little vibration but nothing happens, the screen remains off.
I can not enter recovery mode and also in update mode.
Nothing works!!!
Anyone know what's happened?
The version before downgrade is: U8800V100R001C00B528G001
I tried to make a downgrade to version U8800V100R001C00B138SP04
Back then when I downgraded my phone it couldn't boot at all... just stuck in the HUAWEI logo then went to recovery mode...
I tried to reply the whole process from the start but the result remained the same..the problem was solved after I wiped cache/dalvic cache.. Now here I am
Chill, all had a solution.
If you try to enter pink screen what happens?
BAD NEWS
Bad news my friend I did the same, and guees what its been almost 2 years since I haven't found a solution
Hey guys i have a real problem since a few minutes.
I've tried to root my p8 lite yesterday, but came across a bootloop.
So i flashed a stock rom (b204) but then the imei was lost.
So i read about downgrading to b052.
But that didn't work and ended up with a bootloop again.
After combining the cust.img from b204 with system.img from b052 everything went well accept of the missing imei.
So i updated (OTA) to b170 and now i am stuck.
I can hear the bootsound but the screen is just black and slightly flickering, not even the first bootlogo shows up.
I can get into fastboot but there is also a black screen.
Did i HARDBRICKED it or do you guys have any solutions about this?
Thanx in advance!

try this
put your firmware to root of your sd card with dload folder, so now you should have UPDATE.APP inside dload folder in your sd card then put sd card to your phone. then hold power button and both volume buttons down and when the huawei logo comes, start counting to about 10 seconds and after 10 seconds release power button and keep holding volume keys until it starts restoring. i hope u understand

and btw its not hard brick. when you have tried that metod i mentioned, then try to flash from that b170 firmware boot.img, recovery.img, cust.img and system.img
hi, thanks for the quick reply.
i've done that already, but the problem is, that no huawei bootlogo appears, its just a black flickering and then the screen turns off...
I cant get in the recovery mode i belive.
Fastboot works but without a screen, only way i noticed it works is by flashing some files which worked without any errors.
Device is detected by pc in any way because hisuite opens but doesn't connect.
Anyway i'll try to flash b052 with your method now, i did it with b204 already without any success.
maybe this helps to explain the problem... there is really nothing going on at boot except of that flickering.
UPDATE:
Frimware is now working OS is booting but i cant see anything on screen... could there be a displaydriver issue?
screen reacts on powerbutton on-off, like lockscreen, Backlit is turning on and off, but accept of that nothing to see on screen.
can the displaydriver be reistalled or something?

ive never seen that kind of loop before. hopefully someone else can help you better.
thanks for the tip in your first post
Tried it again with b204 and it worked.
It was hard to flash it blind but after 5 times it worked well. The important thing was to choose the right image. It has to be the factory default image with wich it came. (in my case b204)
Don't know by now how that strange things happend but if anybody come across the same problem PM me now i can help

Hello,
I have the same issue. Do you have restored the rom via fastboot or with the sd card and the force update?
Thank you.
I bricked my P8Lite when flashing the original firmware from withing TWRP.
Now I can neither boot into System, Recovery nor Fastboot. I tried all Power / Volume button combinations.
The screen stays black, the LED is flashing red, then two times green and then red again.
I disconnected the battery and reconnected it, still no progress.
Can anyone help me?

I extracted the Huawei Firmware for P8Lite (the correct one, I checked that) with Huawei Update Extractor and then installed from within TWRP.
After that I wiped TWRP asked me to wipe the cache and I did so.

Why did you extract the update.app from the update.zip!?!?
Of course it is bricked. I'm pretty sure you didn't edit updater-script to symlink the files not write the update.app.
I've seen this kind of brick 2-3 months ago on general or help section, search and maybe you will find something helpful.
somewhere I had the similar issue. Try this once:
Shut down your mobile
Connect your mobile (while it's turned off) to laptop while pressing the vol down key
This should boot you into fastboot mode
amageek nope, wont help. had that same kind of brick. Need to buy a new phone. Even Huawei Care cant fix it .

It isnt that bad. I take that whole thing with houmor
But, if you got that thing you can plug into the eMMC chip, you can recover it. (Dont know what its called)
So, i have a phone that was overheating and of which the fingerprint scanner wasnt working.
Opened it to see the sensor, which turned out to be disconnected, and changed the thermal compound as the one present was baked.
After that, the phone got stuck in a bootloop and im a total noob as far as flashing roms etc goes.
It enters erecovery, but i get the package error.
I have an sd card and tried tried the dload method with a vns-l21 rom - i simply pasted the dload folder and tried installing that, install was supposedly complete - still bootlooping.
Could this be a hardware problem, or can i do anything with the software?

Hello,
try to do a factory reset.
Reboot to e-recovery and do the reset.
Reboot again in e-recovery ( if needed ) and do wipe cache.
Reboot system.
Let's see what happens... :fingers-crossed:

Hi, now i'm wondering which firmware you
tried to restore.
I think it should be the same or newer ( but always android 6 ),
because it won't work with dload method on android 7.
Do you know what was the firmware your device was running ?
( the complete firmware ; ex. VNS-L21C432B160 )
