Rooted VZW Video Calling (Advanced Calling 1.0) woes... - LG V20 Questions & Answers

My question is for all you rooted VZW users, are you able to receive video calls?
I have advanced calling activated and I have the option to initiate a video call to other phones such as my wife's stock G5. However, her phone does not show the ability to initiate a video call with me. She has the option for her other contacts except me.
Currently, my VS995 is running the stock Verizon 11A ROM + the 5.5 kernel from the NotSoStock ROM. I had to jump through hoops in order to activate Advanced calling:
1) Added the feature to my line through VZW
2) I had to unfreeze the following apps to get Advanced Calling to activate: My Verizon, Support & Protection, and both System Update apks (I think LGDMSCLIENT was the kicker).
Is there something in the build.prop, kernel, or in a frozen apk that is preventing Verizon's system from recognizing my line as being able to receive a video call through advanced calling 1.0?

[Q] Sprint Galaxy Tab / Phone call options

I think by now we all know that Sprint has decided to remove/block phone call functionality from US Samsung Tabs.
I've heard about the the Google Voice/Skype workaround to this (Get a permanent skype phone number, GV forward to that, people call GV number and Skype app on the tab rings as normal).
I was wondering two things:
1) Can you just leave Google Voice (whether the web based version or the stand alone android app) running on the tablet and make/recieve calls like that (people call your GV number and it rings the Tab just like it would on a PC)?
2) Does one of you brilliant coders out there have a method to unlock/restore the native phone functionality? I would be (ideally) switching devices and keeping the same data/calling plan I have with my TouchPro2 (I verified this was an option with sprint). So the way I see it this tab should have a voice plan.
thanks!

[Q] Reversing Verizon Advanced Calling dialer changes

Upon activating Verizon's Advanced Calling (VoLTE), my ability to use an alternate dialer app on my Galaxy S5 seems to have been disabled. I'm guessing they do this because Advanced Calling requires the stock dialer. When I realized this, I removed Advanced Calling, but I still can't use an alternate dialer. I can punch in the digits in another dialer app, but the stock dialer pops up to complete the call.
I've tried clearing defaults and installing a bunch of different dialers, but no luck. I even tried Skype -- strangely, I can choose that as the default dialer, but none of the actual dialer apps I installed show up in the "choose an app" dialog -- only Skype and the stock dialer.
I'm assuming this is some kind of software change that came with Advanced Calling, but I can't seem to reverse it. Am I stuck with wiping the phone or something?
Did you also turn off advanced calling in your VZW account?

Yes, I removed it from my account, rebooted the phone (several times), and verified that it's deactivated both online and in the phone.
Maybe try clearing the cache from recovery?

AT&T Special call features (advanced messaging, video call, HD voice etc)

I read about some features AT&T now has such as advanced messaging (able to send large files, see status of received/read of messages), HD calls (voice over LTE or something?) and video calls via phone app.
The only thing I see is video calls.
Where are these other features?
I can confirm HD voice works with video call. I'm not certain about advanced messages though
Not supported on this device. https://www.att.com/shop/wireless/features/advanced-messaging.html
weird... why on earth they don't support it on the newest phone they have if they want to push it? lol

VS995 Verizon VVM build.prop question

Random question, since I'm probably one of few people that use Verizon's Visual Voicemail.
I'm running the 996 deOdexed stock ROM, flawlessly - rooted with DirtySanta and now on that ROM. Everything works, other than obviously the outside world thinks I have a 996 now. That means that there are certain apps that don't show up as available for my device, one of which is the Verizon Visual Voicemail app. So whenever I get a voicemail, I get a gibberish text from a Verizon system number (could care less about that), and I have to manually call my voicemail to check everything.
In my not-so-infinite wisdom, I figured maybe I'd be able to edit the build.prop to the Verizon model, assuming that the model is written out as LG-VS995 (haven't found anywhere that mentions it exactly). Obviously I'm missing something somewhere though - About Phone shows it as a 995 of course, but still showing incompatible app for installation.
Have any Verizon users on other ROM's been able to get things set up properly for installation of Verizon (or other V20 995 specific apps) by chance? Long shot, but thought I'd ask. OR, if any Verizon rooted users have build.prop settings as far as how the model number is written out and such, that might help too. Thanks, and disregard if this is a pointless post

Need some help with this one

So I got the AT&T Variant of this tablet, and it works fine. But recently I decided to implement Call & Text on Other Devices to receive and answer texts from my Note 10+. I got the Call & Text feature installed and activated on both devices, but that's where the fun starts.
I disabled anything that has to do with AT&T (Number Sync, etc) but it seems the dialer is hard-wired to that numbersync app and won't let me change the default. Now when I launch the app, it crashes right away. Tried disabling it and installing Samsung Phone from apkmirror, but the install always fails, as does Samsung Messages.
So is there a way to install these two things to get them working, or has AT&T basically screwed this tablet over in favor of their services?
Samsung site says this function is note currently available on ATT and Verizon phones. Kinda angry
That is true. I have the Verizon LTE variant and I can't call or text from my Tab S5e unless I use Verizon's Messages+ app.
