Okay, so I went a long time without using my Nexus 10 (rooted, unlocked and custom recovery/ROM) and when I went back to use it again, it booted straight to recovery. Keep in mind that I have to keep it on charge, or the screen will stay flickering and it'll die. When I try to return to stock(via Nexus toolkit), it'll boot to bootloader via ADB, and won't fully not. As in it'll shut off, and if I try to power it back on, it shows the battery icon with the lightning bolt in the center. I've tried flashing a new ROM, and every time it fails. I don't know what to do guys. Is it done?

So, my Nexus 4 has been running great. I left the phone on my desk while I watched some TV and when I returned it wouldn't start. I thought this was odd as it had 30% battery when I left. I thought perhaps something was running in the background and managed to run it down. But even after connecting the phone to the charger, it wouldn't restart. However, I was able to reboot the phone into Fastboot mode by holding down the Volume Down + Power key. It restarted and I had 26% battery, so that wasn't the issue. Something must have caused it to lock-up. My question is what I can do to determine the cause. Are the log files that might be of assistance?
I used the Nexus 4 toolkit to unlock + root the phone. About an hour prior to this issue, I flashed the new CWM 6.0.1.9 Touch Recovery using ROM Manager. Other than that, I have no idea what could have caused this. Prior to that, I had the stock recovery installed. As for running software, I just had Gmail, Chrome, Speedtest
It might be because of the Rom try flashing back to stock
The ROM is stock 4.2 with the latest OTA. Do you mean that I should reflash the stock image because my system may be corrupted?

Everything should be ok man. Don't re flash or anything. I did the same to my phone as you and have had amazing battery. Just let it die all the way and recharge. See if it happens.

The phone wont power off reboot or restart. i'm rooted and stock MF9. has anyone else had this problems.
edit: also i cannot access twrp or re-install... i have unrooted and rerooted the phone.
Try and install cwm or twrp through the play store. Download ROM Manager for cwm
Download Goo Manager for Twrp
And if it can't reboot, take out the battery xD

Take out battery. Put it back in, then press volume up/power/home button at the same time and wait for the Samsung logo to pop up with blue writing in the upper right corner. Then letngo and it should go into recovery. If not follow the steps in the Post above mine.

I'm happy to report that I got it fix. After 6 hours of playing with it I got it to stick. The problem was not that I did not now how to operate my phone or what I'm dealing with. I'm comfortable doing all this stuff. After re-pushing, doing factory reset, un-rooting, rooting (all this times 2) I decided to take out the SD card and Bam all the sudden the problem went away. Went back to stock. re-rooted and installed all my apps. now the phone works like a champ again. thanks to the 2 members that decided to take the time and post a reply.
BTW. the last thing that I place in the SD card was the 1x/3g fix zip. not saying that this was the problem but its when all this began.
I rooted my note 3 for the first time with towel root. I have the latest safestrap. But when I go install my first rom. Phone goes into a reboot and shuts off for over 45 mind and does nothing except a blue light keeps blinking. Is this normal?

Hello op2 was rooter, unrooted on su, installed os, rebooted and phone optimises as usual, and starts again endlessly... I have access to fastboot. When trying to go into recovery, all phone remains in boot logo... I had made a backup of my phone and left it on as card is there any way I can get it? Is there any way I can reactivate recovery without loosing everything? Your help would be greatly appreciated!!

I wasnt even rooted and did the OTA and ended up getting boot loop. Had to clear data for it to work.
They've changed the bootloader. So a modified TWRP is required. Flash Grarak's modified twrp via fastboot ---> https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24572330218882108
Then Flash the Rom via Modified recovery. Full guide ---> http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-2/general/zip-oxygenos-3-x-t3392826
could I be luck and not loose all.my data and backups left on the SD card if I used your options?

I can't get Into recovery or boot... power plus button down stays jammed at boot logo. How would I do this??
Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
I can only get to flash boot button up and power... thats all!

Connect phone using fastboot & issue this command "fastboot continue". This should turn on the phone (if u restart u might end up in bootloop again), When it does go to developer options and enable "oem unlocking". Then try to unlock it. Then flash TWRP and any rom u like.

I don't get this, I really don't. I'm just browsing FB as usual than my phone gets completely frozen. I turn it off and on and then it just gets stuck in bootloop.
I can't open up the recovery but I can open but the bootloader, I tried to reflash my recovery but it's not good.
I read that once people get this , they're ****ed. is this true? or is there a solution?
I got no warranty by Google , I bought this phone from a 3rd party seller , wtf am I suppose to do now?
You can try reflashing to stick to see what happens, but if all fails, then yes. I was on vacation once and the same thing occurred, except I was able to get into recovery randomly.

If you can not access recovery after flashing a full factory image using the flash-all script through fastboot you are pretty much done... Sorry to say.
