I have the "toolkit" and a current SuperSU zip. PC is Linux, had adb operational.
So, what do I do with these files?

I did the above procedure but did not succeed, apparently the procedure was completed but the device did not restart in recovery mode, I did the reboot manually and it seems to me that TWRP was not installed.
Is there anything that can be done? My device has the mediatek processor deca core, 3G / 64 ROM.

but when I try to reboot into twrp recovery (volume botton up + power) the device reboot in mi bootloop 3 times and doesn't boot into custom recovery.

M2 Mini has good hardware but very poor software, going to CM is a relief !
**Disclaimer**

**Boot in Recovery and Fastboot**
Boot in recovery : power on holding Volume Up and Power
Boot in fastboot mode : power on holding Volume Down and Power
**Rooting**

**ADB Drivers**
Google drivers won't recognize M2 Mini, you have to edit the inf file.
You have to activate USB Debugging in the Developer Options for ADB to work.
1) Download drivers at: http://developer.android.com/sdk/win-usb.html
2) Edit android_winusb.inf
3) Go to [Google.NTamd64] section and add this to the end of the section :

You have to be on *Flyme OS 4.5.4i* for bootloader unlocking to work.

Phone cannot see SIM
Yep, ive been using CM for few months, everything was good. But today i had to wipe /data, and couldn't. Recovery says, that it cannot mount /data. I thinks, that's because of encryption. I played around, tried wipe system from Settings, but it didn't work too. I and did
wipe data
in the phone's terminal. Saw lots of errors from apps, of course. Then rebooted and, oh my, phone was asking me for password to unencrypt the storage. Huh.
I enetered password, loaded into system, and, everything is pretty cool (ive got clean firmware, system apps only), except two things:
Phone is still encrypted, hence, i cant change firmware or do anything else
Second, and most terrible, is that phone can't see SIM card. No SIM at all. I changed SIM's position, but it does not work, yeah. Actually, SD card is working, i can see it from file manager, read/write files. Wi-Fi is working too.
I have backups for all partitions, except Internal Storage and /data. /data was backuped using Titanium Backup, files from Internal Storge moved to SD card. So, i do not care about files, i just want my phone up and running. Any help?

I successfully rooted my zenfone ze551ml with official android 6
Requirements:
1. Unlocked bootloader
2. TWRP for Z00A Download
Unlock Bootloader on Android 6.0 Marshmallow ZenFone 2 ZE551ML/ZE550ML
Download tool (Download Here)
Extract it and connect Zenfone 2 with laptop/pc
Click unlock.bat will automatically detect whether the adb or fastboot mode, and then reboot into bootloader
Will appear on the screen to unlock the success of mobile phones after five seconds will reboot, then hold volume up the phone automatically re-boot back to bootloader.
If you missed the previous step, press the power button for 10 seconds off, then press the "Volume Up" and hold the power button to boot into bootloader.
(( Now Your mobile can't boot. ))
Now flash twrp recovery (( fastboot flash recovery twrp.img ))
then install this file Magisk-v6_repack_for_zf2_601.zip and phh-superuser-17-magisk-x86-fix.zip and if you need Xposed
After install them reboot to fastboot again and click restore.bat ( in bootloader folder ) on the computer, where the restore refers to the restore Android ifwi 6.0 otherwise Android phone can not enter the system.
The phone will reboot and restore white on black ASUS logo screen, and then enter the Android system.
Now install this apps Magisk Manager v1.2 App and phh's SuperUser App and Material's the Design Xposed the App Installer ( if you install xposed )
Now Your system rooted and xposed
Note: In the first of starting the system you'll show warning message, ignore it.

You have to enter in bootloader and reflash stock recovery. You can find it into original MM firmware

Everything went perfect for me. Root and exposed all works. But recovery is now gone! I can only get to bootloader.
My ze551ml is neither rooted nor has recovery using this, and i followed everything to the letter.
I removed root before i upgraded to 6.0
EDIT: Never minds, im a F*#*#[email protected] idiot....
has to boot into recovery mode after flashing the img, and THEN install the zips (not install zips from fastboot)

GravityBox worked great for me, are you sure you installed GravityBox[MM] not the previous GravityBox[LP]?

Yes I did. I just went back and repeated the steps from the post and reflashed just the magisk and superuser. When I rebooted all three were working again. Even gravitybox.

If you need the recovery run unlock.bat again and the twrp will work again. Then do what you want in recovery then run restore.bat again to make your device bootable.
The recovery will work even after restore.bat is executed if it is signed with mm signature keys.

the only thing i need is the european version of the original huawei os VTR-L09C432B113
recovery is booting. system does not really want to boot. after selecting the language an wifi the phone reeboots again. flashing the original os might help, at least this was always the final solution at my previous samsung phones and tablets

problem solved.
funkyhuawei is the adress to know for restoring p10 device. signed in, payed a few dollars an got the file directly via erecovery. simple and clear instructions

Instalation procedure :
MAKE SURE YOU MAKE A BACKUP ONTO A PC/LAPTOP FIRST. The procedure will wipe everything.!!!!
1. Extract the files into a folder. Look for the multi-brush _ volume under the key + boot key. bat and remove the space after the . This way you will have acces to the flashing script.
2. Connect the phone in fastboot mode. I don't have to tell you that you need to have proper drivers installed, right?
3 .Double click the multi brush script and wait for the process to finish.
Again, don't forget it will wipe everything.

how to flash this firmware?
The files will be installed via adb/fastboot. But it will be done automatically,because there is a script in that folder. A .bat file. All you have to do is connect the phone in fastboot mode,double click on that .bat file and it will begin the flashing. It can be done manually too, by using fastboot flash commands,but it will take too much .

I already connected in fastboot mode. Still nothing. Any youtube tutorial or instruction to guide me?
ATM i dont have the phone, my gf has it. As soon as i'll get my hands on it,i'll provide proper flashing procedure.

Try to type "fastboot flashall" , without the "" in that commander window. It should do the trick. .

Yes. Google services are installed. My pbone came with all services preinstalled. I asked geekbuying to provide the firmware,because i have some issues with the sims. They provided it quite fast.

This Firmware contain Marshmallow, cauz Nougat isn't released yet by LeTV/LeEco.

1. unzip the rom and open the folder, make sure there are no spaces in the folder name and its parent folders.
2. Then youll find a file named multi-brush, with the extension '. Bat' change the extension to '.bat' i.e. remove the space.
3. Then power on the mobile while pressing vol-down and power button, to enter fastboot mode and connect it yo the PC.
4. Then double click this multi brush file and wait for it to finish.
Important, this will wipe all your data!!
P.s you'll need to unlock the bootloader to flash the boot partition.

I'm using this rom now after trying miui 8 and 9 and lineage 14.1
This rom is the best one!
The zip file, once downloaded, will not unzip. It give a filename error and then does not open.
Maybe the file you downloaded get corrupted.

You can Use the TWRP from MI8 and then you only have to edit the updater script in the custom.rom.zip
0. Use "MI8 TWRP" on "MI8 Explorer Edition" and install custom ROM
1. open downloaded custom "rom.zip"
2. go to -> \xiaomi.eu_multi_MI8Explorer_V10.0.4.0.OEHCNFH_v10-8.1.zip\META-INF\com\google\android\
3. edit -> updater-script
4. change -> getprop("ro.product.device") == "ursa" to getprop("ro.product.device") == "dipper"

Everytime i install TWRP im never able to boot a new rom... ive tried miui.eu and others because i want global but the phone is stuck on the roms screen loading but never starts... no bootloop though...
other than the recovery do u install anything else? any other steps?

Did you run in twrp data wipe? This is required in the first installation for the xiaomi, eu version
