A lot of smartwatches with Android OS has battery Status problem. It's not sudden battery drain. Android has problem with dealing with some size of batteries (as i suppose). When using watch battery level goes down - ok, but in standby battery status is almost not moving. After 1 and a half day with 60% it says that 2 days left, and all of sudden it stops working.
Callibration Apps doesn't work. Anyone found solution? Because not knowing how long can i last without harger is confusing. (Better without ROOT)
Ah.. I find this topic interesting as I'm experiencing the same scenario too.

Does anybody have their phone battery going flat quicker with Android Wear installed?
My note 3 used to last all day, now i have to charge it half day.
The battery usage has android Wear as the main culprit then system. My Samsung gear live has plenty of battery left (49%) after 16hrs used.
Battery life on Nexus 5 has is lasting half the time

Yes, same problem here. Since installing wear, I'm getting half the life out of my Nexus 5 battery after installing and connecting Android Wear device (Samsung Live). I usually get more than a day's worth of time from my phone, I had burned through 75% of the battery by noon today.
Did you have google now disabled before, but enabled now? If so, try it with google now disabled.

I always used Google now on my phone. The note 3 battery has been great and i have never had the need to disable or do anything. I feel that I may had to send the watch back based on that only.
Got the same problem with an CustomROM, simply annoying with the battery charge with Android Wear and my S3.
Wear had an impact on battery life but not to a point where I'd consider returning the watch.
Edit
I mean, I was able to last almost 2 full days before having the watch and now I need to charge the phone when I come home from work. I'm okay with that.

Are you guys on Bluetooth 3.0 or 4.0?
Bluetooth 4.0 le. I guess the battery on the phone is halved.
With google now turned off, I'm getting close to the previous battery life.

my cousin has same problem, battery drains faster than the usual :crying:
I'm also encountering heavy battery drain with Wear. Didn't have this issue with my Pebble, and there's nothing obvious in BetterBatteryStats or the Android battery settings. Nothing in there ever shows up as bluetooth or Wear related. I've always used Now, nothing new there.
Have this, too.
I have not noticed any difference in battery use. In the battery usage display has any activity moved up in the usage list?

Yeah. The Android Wear App takes like 50-60%, it trumps even System and Display (around 10% each).
The problem definitely is the Wear app on the phone that takes many CPU cycles.
What I tried:
- Reboot watch
- Reboot phone
- Uninstall all apps on watch
- Pairing the watch again with the phone
- Disabling Google Now
- Cleared data of the Android Wear app (which did not(!) reset the settings of that app)
EDIT: Well blimey! Talk about buggy software: Now it works again... Devices just sitting on my desk... No drain anymore...
EDIT2: And now it starts again to drain... what the actual hell?

Nothing for me here... Everything looks normal for my phone. There's just less battery life. It's really odd.

I was experiencing some pretty serious battery drain on my nexus 5 after getting my G watch. At first I didnt really notice it and thought I was just using the phone harder at work (which i might have also been). But one night i unplugged my fully charged phone right before falling asleep and woke up 6 hours later with about 70% battery, i knew something was up.
BBS didnt really provide much insight, and the android battery info just listed Android System as #1 battery user. I got another app, Wakelock Detector, and enabled Advanced Mode in the settings so it shows system processes and discovered that BluetoothRemoteDevices had kept my phone from entering deep sleep most of the night.
Since the only bluetooth device i had paired up at that time was my G watch, I knew it was prob something related to it. I went through and uninstalled a few of the Wear apps i had been using and now i have much better battery life again. I think the culprit for me was the app Wear Unlock or possibly the one camera app I was using also. So maybe go through and try removing as many wear apps as you can and see if it gets better for you. I only have a couple watch faces, wear mini launcher, wear calculator, Calendar, and Wear Aware installed now and much less BluetoothRemoteDevices wakes and my battery life is good on both phone and watch!
Hope this helps

But I love all my apps :'(
Seriously though, it's been happening since day one where the only apps compatible I had installed were Hangouts, Maps, and Keep. I haven't noticed battery life getting worse as I've installed more.

This seems to be another but compared to mine. Glad you have figured it out!
For my bug (high drain of Wear app on phone) I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, also I restored the watch (using the menu option). Drain gone... Fingers crossed!
EDIT:
Next day: Had my watch and phone on the desk over the night (non-charging). Everything fine. Then I started charging the phone. When it was full, I unplugged it and suddenly the Wear app was listet with top battery usage (50%). Only app on watch was the StarWatch watchface.
I have isolated the problem: The battery drain start when I leave home in the morning. Seems there is something that the Wear app does (tries, maybe fails to do). I have uninstalled the Llama app which in my case triggers some actions when I leave home. Let's see what happens.
EDIT: Not solved. Killing the Wear app temporarily stopps the battery usage. But it comes again. By the way: The Wear app seems to do some task periodically, because I get a huge battery drain spike each 5 seconds. Is there any kind of possibility to log what the app does.
Is anyone using the Wear App Store (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=goko.ws2)? I've read that this app could be the cause for poor battery performance on the phone.
I changed from Note 3 to s 6 edge plus recently
The battery drops 5% per hour overnight when not in use. If I go to bed with less than 40% battery at night I am sure to wake up with my phone switched off in the morning.
When in use with screen on, the battery drips one percent every two minutes. This is the worst battery life I have ever seen in a phone. I was a long loyal customer of samsung and this is my last samsung phone ever.
Extremely disappointed
Please post your battery stats ? so we can have a better understanding of your problem. I suggest you install 'Doze' which should stop unnecessary apps from connecting to the internet and causing your phone to awake from deep sleep.
Dear Akbar 11
Heres the battery stats....is it normal?
I had the same issue, and as far as I managed to find out, it is a bug in Samsung's kernel. Flashing Arter97 kernel solved the issue for, but do post battery stats from SmartManager. If it says 'Android' or 'Android OS', then you have the same problem many of us do.
I don't think it's a kernel problem. My android OS is very low 4%. Like zoolok said post your battery stats from settings, battery, battery usage
I have the same problem. Battery was great before I flash custom rom. After going back to stock I have big battery draining. I must stay on custom rom. With Audax rom and Skyhigh kernel i have great battery life.
You have either messed up something big or you have an app in the background that is eating up your battery like no tomorrow.
And the reason i say that is because i recently got this battery life on my Galaxy S6 edge+.
And this was taken 2 days ago.
Here i use the CRISSCROSS ROM, AudaxPro Kernel, Greeinify and Samsung's own 'Appoptimizing' feature (same as Doze in Android 6.0).
So my battery life is pretty awesome.
i have problem whit battery lose 25% when i sleep
This is a usual day with s6 edge plus
Any help?

i have this problem battery ... if u fixed it tell me how?
Well I was expecting Google Play Services to be eating your battery (which is quite common) but it looks like your Andriod OS is eating the most battery. I would uninstall Facebook and use the web version it always helps with the ram and battery furthermore, turn off location if you are not using it and check accounts which are being synced. These are the only tips I can give you as I have never seen Android OS drain so much battery.
Since a few days Google Play Store is eating up my battery: I go to sleep with 100% batt and wake up with 50%, if I check batt stats on top I have play store at 45%, with 5h active a d 2h of CPU.
Follows Android system at 5%.
Going crazy why...

You've charged your phone 4 times during that day. I can't see what's the interesting part here.
I turn my phone on airplane mode at night and the last few nights I did this, I experienced 0-1% battery drain overnight, which was also pretty much in line with what I saw for my old S6. Last night, however, my battery dropped 3% overnight while on airplane mode. In GSam, it says most of the battery use was due to Kernel, then followed by Android System.
This can't be normal? Considering my S6 had a 2550 mAh battery and the S7 edge has a 3600 mAh battery, the S6 would have been using less than 25.5 mAh overnight while the s7 edge was using up to 108 mAh overnight. Considering that Marshmallow has doze, I'm really not sure what could have been using up this much battery!
Do any of you guys have any possible insight into this?
Anyone? I've been checking battery usage over the last few nights and it seems to drop about 3% every night in airplane mode.
There is a leak somewhere within the system apps.

Thanks for the response. Is this a known issue that's happening to many or am I one of few?

It's a known issue happening to many people with the US version of the phone. The one with the Snapdragon CPU.
Found this thread while searching for a solution regarding my Moto G (2nd), because I'm facing exact the same problems. I have NO root (everything stock), and lately I hoped the upgrade from L to M would solve the problem, but yesterday it was back again. The continous battery drain started somewhere at the late afternoon, and didn't even stop after switching off everything you can (inlcuding autosync) before going to bed. Very annoying, though the first days after the upgrade looked promising. This bug seems to be a general problem in Android, and for me it started last year with Lollipop.
I did a search and could not find anything useful. I downgraded from beta to N 7.0 and despite better battery life, I have this really annoying experience with my phone. I have ticked the battery saver option on with low battery on, and as soon as the yellow bars appear to show 15% battery, it suddenly starts shut down process and then refuses to power on again until connected to charger.
That is cheating in my opinion, since I always assume I have 15% battery left.
Any solutions or thoughts as to why this happens?
If it's cutting out at 15% and you know it's not software it seems like it would be the battery. I deal with phone repairs on a daily basis and I see this a lot.
Same exact thing is happening it me. I thought it was a 7.1 bug, but it's just happening now and I've had 7.1 since day one and have gone below 15% many times.

Mine began doing it when I upgraded to 7.1 as well. It's a known issue and I don't know if there is a fix.
Here is the main thread where some "fixes" are posted - http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6p/help/phone-dies-15-time-figure-issue-t3482597
Hey guys, How you all doing ?
First of all, I recently got in hands a Nexus 6p! Bought It used (8 months of use), and its perfect, everything os ok.
Then, I rooted It and now i'm using the Android O ROM, with franco kernel.
But, I've been noticed that the battery sometimes drains 2%-3% too quickly. And yesterday my phone shutdown at 18%!
I was experiencing the 2-3% drain on 7.1.2, but not the shutdown.
I dont get that bad SOT, like 3h-4:30 is still a thing for me.
What do you guys think ? Is It bad battery or software related problem ?
Should I consider doing this trick and go back to Android N ? https://www.google.com.br/amp/s/for...-6p/help/nougat-battery-bug-fix-t3559250/amp/

First of all, going "back" to anything is not going to help you. Android 8.0 is not the issue, it may be a degraded battery, especially if you are having early shutdowns. Please open the Health page (Saúde) and post it. That is where you will find your estimated battery capacity relative to a new battery. You should have a few full charges before this percentage stabilizes. Try draining it as low as you can go (or when it shuts off), and then let the phone charge fully until Accubattery tells you your phone is fully charged NOT the phone reporting 100%. It's common for the phone to continue charging 45-60 minutes beyond the phone reporting 100% and you need to keep it on the charger until completely full to get an accurate capacity estimate. Hope this helps. Boa sorte!
Okay. I went back to 7.1.2, early shutdowns got resolved, but the 2℅ drain not.
I followed all the steps of the guide I posted, changed governator, etc..
It have seen to got a little better. Will report back after a few days of usage with accubattery health status.
Thanks!
