Hello everybody...I'm sorry if this is not the right place to post this but I just wanted to say a big "THANK YOU!" to everybody here and on xda in general for all the great and amazing things that everybody does here...all the themes, mods, tweaks, etc....you guys have really made it possible to make our phones the way we want them to be. I have Nexus 5x, Nexus 5, S7 edge, V10 and Nextbit Robin. All of them have been tweaked and modified to my liking, and if there was anything that wasn't possible for me to do, all I have to do is wait and eventually someone, someway would find a way to do it. Last night I was up until 4am looking for a way to theme my 5x....found it! Wanted to install a working Daydream on my 5x...found it! I could go on and on but I don't want to make this post too long so again, THANK YOU!!

Good after noon all.
heh, talk about feeling nervous for a first post. well before I contiune, I do want to say thank you to the XDA community, you helped me get both my MyTouch 4G's rooted; Anyway on track with my question.
I am currently running the DemonSpeed Miui, and I have a them I've been working on a theme, I noticed alot of the MIUI themes especially the Lock Theme Thread seems to use other peoples themes/info.
My question is I know i have made/edited a them from ATLEAST 7 different authors, added custom wallpaper, etc the works. and I want to know, should I first contact all 7, or should I just post this.
It should be made further clear, that I am "not" discrediting any owners of the original works and further attempts to contact them will be made. I just want to seem like I am a "thief" saying hey this is mine, yatta yatta yatta.
I should also note this theme is also fairly....huge, coming in at a near 35 MB for a theme does seem a bit excessive but I wanted to create an all in one "Super Theme" and of course credit will be given where it is due.
Any advice would be appreciated, and thank you for your time.

I think you should contact all of them first just in case, and credit them all in your post obviously. For the most part, the devs here on xda don't seem to mind anyone modifying their work as long as their credited, but you should still contact them and let them know. There are some devs who WILL make you take down your work if you don't contact them and get an explicit yes/no response back from them.
So just to be safe, and to not risk a forced removal of your work, contact them all and wait for a response. It'll be worth the wait just to save yourself the potential trouble with mods and angry devs.
Guys, I've been here on XDA since Oct2010. During my time here, XDA and the people here on the forums have taught me a great deal of stuff. Stuff that may stick with me for the rest off my life. Or atleast I hope it will. I've learned how to theme, compile, edit, hack, mod, rom...heck just about everything you could want really. And I've learned all that right here.
Now wither I'm a real dev or not, I don't know. Don't really care anymore. However, a lot of the stuff that I've posted has a lot of my work in it. Copy and paste or not, if some one did help me with it or not, it was still my time I spent. Every bit of it was stuff that I used or had used at some point. And all of it was shared to you for free. I wouldn't have cared if only one person used any of my stuff. I was just happy sharing and giving back.
I've made plenty of good friends and had a lot of fun. But not always. There is a lot of attitude here (not XDA but within XDA) that just kinda spoiled it for me. I'm sick of it and I've decided to leave officially this time. I'm highly doubting at this point that I'll be coming back. So for that I'm sorry XDA, I'm sorry my good friends, you know who you are, we gtalk everyday. And I'm sorry newly arriving members. I hate that everyone has to see the ugly side. I really do.
If I could leave one thought for yall before I go, its this. Just have fun. Learn as much as you can. And maybe even make some friends along the way. That's what we all signed up for in the first place.
Now, I won't ask anyone to follow me. But for those that do care, you know where to find me. Its in my signature block. I hope to see ya there.
Out of respect for XDA, I will be closing this thread myself. I don't want any drama guys. Later.
Hello forum i thought i would let you guys know that im moving forward to the Nexus 7. If your getting one im sure i will be making roms for this tablet to, so not to worry. If not i will continue to help develop my rom, and continue helping to update it.
For now im planning on leaving my thread and letting powerpoint45 take over. He's a really talented person that know alot about these things, im leaving you guys with someone i trust, to continue to push forward updates and many more features for you guys. Me and him have been talking for a long, i think i have enough confidence in order for him to continue with my rom.
If you are worrying about my app Glazed Mods, i personally will be continuing to support it, i will have some testers in order for me to continue pushing forward new mods and cool tweaks.
It was really nice being here in this forum, but we all have to move on someday. And that time has come for me to move on, thanks guys, you all have been such great support and a big thanks to my donaters, who kindly helped me in having future development.
You probably won't notice a big difference with me gone, since the rom will continue living and the app to. You can expect everything to be moved to powerpoint45 new thread on my rom by friday, i got to give him all the nescessary tools and items in order for him to continue making this rom a possibility.
A big Thank You From Me, And a Big Goodbye to.

I'm following to nexus too. But I plan on keeping both devices active so it is good to know that you have a worthy apprentice taking over your work for the fire.

Hi all! First, I'm new here so allow me to introduce myself with keywords: single dad, gunsmith, water treatment specialist, biker, competitive shooter, noob techie, sci-fi fanatic.
SHC is short for SteelHorseCowboy, a user name on other forums. I'm one of the few my age (31) who've actually worked and made a living from atop a horse. Even rode to school on one and used the practice football field as a paddock. School got free mowing, I just had to pick up after the horse. Moses passed while I was in Iraq, and now I ride motorcycles instead of flesh and blood.
Anyway, I just recieved my N6P yesterday. Have rooted and messed around with ROMs on my N6 so I'm not completely inexperienced in that regard. I've decided to try out the Pure Nexus ROM, but have a few questions before I dive in. I did try searching, read and watched reviews, checked out the developers thread and read the changelog, so I've done my homework but very easily could have overlooked this...
A negative answer to either of these is not a deal breaker, I'll be switching anyway!
Does Pure Nexus support the N6P's fingerprint scanner? I've fallen in love with the option.
Does immersive mode also hide the navbar, or do the navbar customizations allow it to be hidden? I HATE navbars, much prefer LMT pie or UCCW Hotspots. I know build.prop edit can hide them and a build.prop editor is included in the ROM. I even have the edit saved to evernote for quick reference after updates or when helping others, but I'd rather use the built in ROM settings for some reason... I dunno, it just seems "cleaner" to me.
That's it! That's all I want to know! Any and all help is much appreciated! Thanks in advance for your responses.
TL;DR? Fast forward to "A negative answer..."

Hi and thank you for using XDA Assist
Try asking in the ROM thread
Or in the Q&A Section
Just went ahead and flashed it a week or so ago. Has everything I've ever wanted in a ROM. Loving it!
The immersive mode actually working on the nav buttons as well as the status bar is exactly what I think I always needed. They're there when I need them, gone when I don't!

Hey and Hello Folks, it's been a while since my last Post on the Nexus 6 Forums...
Maybe there are some People left who remembers who i'am, but this isn't Important yet!

I'm searching specially for Themers and People which are advanced with Modifying ROMs or Sources...
A Name for this Project is already selected and the Plan is to follow My Plan. If You're interested and worthy to trust, i will tell You what i want to do and You can decide if You want to Join. But this here is TOP-SECRET and i want to Release it with a Big Bang and without any Public Infos before...

If you're still looking for someone, I might be interested. This reply is my first post on XDA in the longest time, but I used to be very involved in the ROM, kernel, and theme scene. I've also recently begun building apps. I know my way around the source code, and the Java and xml inside the apk's, so I know I could be of some help with the theming at the very least.
This kind of project may just be enough to pull me out of "retirement", so please, feel free to contact me if you'd like. You can PM me here, and we can set up a Hangouts chat or something.
