Hello, can I change the build number of my phone to C423 ?
I think you want to say C432, not C423...
Anyway, you need to debrand your phone.
Search around the forum, especially read here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/huawei-p9lite/development/europe-vns-l31-toolkit-bootloader-t3432873

lol for update to Nougat no if neccesary C432... only TWRP
I don't mean to be rude, but as you clearly show a high level of confusion, I suggest you thoroughly educate yourself by reading the forum's threads before even thinking about doing any upgrades/modifications to your phone.

Firs of all, excuse me for my english..
Hi, my Nexus 4 is coming (Hallelujah)...
So I have around 2 weeks to find more informations about customizing the Nexus 4.. the only thing which is interesting me (for the moment..) is to customize the Navigation Bar (waste of place ^^).
I found this which look awesome, called "PIE" : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2020336
But I heard about modifying a lot of other things, such as bootloader, kernel etc... but I don't know a lot about these things... it's worth it for me to learn ? if yes, why ? I realy want a stable thing
By the way, what happen if I brick my Nexus 4 ? Google would say me to put my **** in my ass ?
Is there somewhere in the forum a good guide which say "what to do" with the Nexus 4 ?
Thanks !

Bahahaha! Best thing I've read all day.
It is very worth it to learn. The only ways to get a true hard brick that I know of are a) hardware failure, b) corrupted/improperly flashed bootloader c) corrupted/improperly flashed modem.
Avoid b and c and you'll be OK.
Pie comes with the newer builds of ParanoidAndroid. A less developed version of it is built into LMT Launcher. Both are great.

Thanks you very much for your reply, but what do you mean by "b and c" ? ^^
Edit: ahh ok sorry
I would delete this message, but it looks like I can't, so why the EDIT/DELETE button ?! xD

If your reading comprehension in English is that bad, maybe you should hold off on rooting your phone, unless you find guides in your native language. I'm being serious. Make SURE you understand the steps in the guides you follow. Don't just jump in blindly.
I listed three things that could cause a hard brick and labeled them "a," "b" and "c."
Edit: Haha. OK, good.
Hi,
He mean that you try to flash a non Nexus 4 or flash a file corruped during the download (check the md5 to avoid that) kernel (b) and radio (c).
To use PIE (included in PA or RootBox) check that to keep the status bar : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2129209
We are here to help you, just ask !

Hello,
Could You write me, what is the difference between:
9.18.94.XT926.Verizon.en.US and 9.30.1.XT926.Verizon.en.US
OTA updates.
Regards
RJ
according to the developers they can find no differences, so we dont know why there was a version split.

This non dev, believes it originates from different phone hardware & the xml handles the differences.
Edit if I posted a blur...zip for my phone I am sure it would fail on the other hw version phones.
you can flash either corresponding version on the same phone, i have done it.

Mate you are not being clear on the post that you made .

Or,
2.When you click software update its not being able to find any updates for you ?
IF 1st then go here http://forum.xda-developers.com/desire-820/general/solved-solution-software-update-option-t3269290

Well I don't think so... I tried with my lumia 630 build 10586, and it doesn't work.
But you still can try it yourself: http://forum.xda-developers.com/windows-10/windows-10-mobile/test-build-10572-t3241559
NOTE: don't change it more than 305!!! An user said that even if you change it to 1024 (I mean 1GB) it will use only 305!!
Leave a like if I helped you.
Thanks, Sznabi

HKLM–>SYSTEM–>Platform–>DeviceTargetingInfo in the registry.
Areas of interest to change are:
PhoneManufacturer=
PhoneHardwareVariant=
Make sure you write down or take a screenshot of original values first. Change to what you need.
I got this from here XDA, and other sites. Do some searching. You'll find what you need. And you mean ROM, right? If not, then my bad. lol. :good:

How to get OS backup?
W10 build 10586
May be a very silly question, but I will ask anyway. I am unlocked rooted on stock T-Mobile variant. I have TWRP, Magisk.
Can I just flash any full rom such as 9.0.6 or 9.0.7?
What I guess I'm asking is do I need to convert to international 9.0.1 before flashing a higher OS.
What you need to do is read. All the answers are literally right here in this forum.

It's members like you that give XDA a bad name, if you don't want to help the member just ignore it. I guess you just need to build up your post count one way or the other.
No it's these entitled people who can't use a very simple search feature who ruin it. These dumb questions were much less frequent years ago because people did the logical thing and searched before posting a useless thread asking a question that's been answered many many times before.

Can you show me where my question is answered? No probably not. I am not entitled and I have been searching for days.
As stated in the OP of nearly every rom they recommend flashing from latest international oos first.

After using the MSMDownload tool you unlock your bootloader with
Code:
fastboot oem unlock
just in case you thought that you have to wait.
