Flash OEMinfo, flash stock recovery, put MM UPDATE.APP on sdcard. While phone is powered down, Press volume +/- and power button, should then downgrade to MM.

Are you on MM? Did you download the rollback package or just the stock firmware for your device?
You need a rollback package to go back to LP from MM.
If you are on Marshmallow you have to flash the rollback first. Otherwise follow below steps.
Try to update it manually, assuming you were rooted, follow these steps:
Download your phone's lollipop firmware and extract system.img, boot.img, recovery.img, cust.img from UPDATE.APP using Huawei Update Extractor tool.
Boot into bootloader mode by switching off the phone then pressing only the Vol DOWN button, and connecting it to PC simultaneously.
Flash recovery first, using this command.
Code:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Flash all other extracted files similarly firing these commands.
Code:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash cust cust.img
fastboot flash system system.img
After doing this put that very UPDATE.APP from which you extracted the files in dload folder of your external SDCARD.
Switch off your phone, and press Vol UP + Vol DOWN + Power button simultaneously.
Your device will now get to the full stock firmware.
NOTE: If the manual flashing doesn't works or you get any errors, then first try only the force update method, i.e Putting the UPDATE.APP from which you extracted the files in dload folder of your external SDCARD and pressing Vol UP + Vol DOWN + Power button simultaneously after switching off your phone.

I suggest you to backup all your stuff with Huawei native backup app. Copy it to a safe place or let it be at the SD card.
If you have root, unroot H7 in SuperSU (full unroot).
If you have TWRP recovery flash (fastboot flash recovery recovery.img) recovery file from (extracted) current version ROM.
Copy transitional package to dload folder in H7, and force update (from off state, press vol+- and power untill it shows a screen)
Then you can flash B180 full ROM and update to B190.
Restore your backup and your done.

The linked transitional package is for PLK-L01 (European version), while ashishpupri has PLK-AL10 (Chinese) and he needs another rollback file, like I do. But I haven't found any rollback package that works with B380 (or B395) builds.

Is it possible to simply "overwrite" the current system with fastboot flash? You know we don't have rollback package for PLK-AL10 but want to go back to lollipop.

I don't think it'll work, as rollback has some other packages too which needs to be flashed unlike the common ones.

It will work, I´ve done it for PLK-01. The problem is the partitions will be messed up and you get first a nice bootloop. Then it´s a matter of trial-and-error to fash img files from full LP releases to see which work. Once I spent a whole Saturday and Sunday doing flashings and praying for the best. I got lucky.
I honestly don't recommend, AT ALL, this way. It´s a nice attempt to get your device bricked.

The first bootloop only states that it doesn't work in a pattern, so no one should try or do it.

I am sorry buddy. Checked multi-tool options to write the post for you but I got this (you can see it under model names in the pic below)
"Change model possible only on version of Android 5.0"
And moreover I don't see honor 7 plus supported here in the tool as you can see in the image.
If you want to check it out for yourself, head to the thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-7/general/honor-7-multi-tool-t3281176/page1
and download multi-tool but it will unlock your bootloader, root your phone and in the end, you will not get what you want. (IMHO)
The only possible way I can think of is to contact Huawei customer service with your problem via email but most likely they will ask you to take your phone to a customer service center.

Try the Huawei firmware finder. You may find the complete and transitional packages if available.

Thank you. I found the version B396 and its change log says it can be rollbacked to emui 3.1. However it did not find (search for) rollback packages, hopefully it will work with the existing ones.
I unrooted my phone yesterday, installed B396 rom but none of the rollback packages work. Still "software install failed". Any more idea what could be done?
Who makes the rollback packages? They are only 18-19 kB.
What is the realistic size of a rollback file? What I found for PLK-AL10 are only 17-18kB (!), while on official honor site the rollback file made for the European (L01) version is 200-300 MB.

It should be anywhere from 100 to 300 MB. That is the size I usually observed.
But 18-19 KB is not possible coz it has to has multiple partitions inside it.

Hi friend,
The problem is still how to go back from Android 6 to 5 on PLK-AL10.
Another guy suggested me a simple solution: format (wipe) my phone and then any operating system can be flashed. Here is the way he did:

Do you think it can work?
Thanks in advance.

I don't have this problems anyway.
My friend rolled back successfully without problems from B150 to B120 or 130, I don't remember. Are you sure you have downloaded the right firmware?
Try this:
1. Install B150 again from the "update.app" from SD card. That will lock your bootloader and get you back to stock state.
2. Download the correct B130 or B120 firmware for your device, format the SD card and put ONLY "update.app" on it.
3. Try to install with vol +- and power button method.
If those fail, try the following:
Unlock bootloader and restart device. When the message about "your device can't be trusted appears", press the correct button so EMUI will try to install it.
Also, keep the B130 or B120 on the SD card for this as well.
Good luck!
If i were you...i would update to B161.

Problem downgrading to MM from N

Hey guys!
I've installed the Nougat beta for my P9 Lite VNS-L21 Dual Sim, but now I want to downgrade to MM. This is what I did:
0. Installed Nougat via Melticulus TWRP
1. Installed Revolution Recovery (because Melticulus TWRP had stopped working, idk why)
2. Flashed OEMInfo
3. Copied Version B150/B151 (I've tried both) to the SDCard
4. Started the P9 Lite with Power + Volume UP + Volume DOWN and tried to flash one of the versions.
I'm stuck here, the Huawei Recovery says the following: "Software install failed! Incompatibility with current version. Please download the correct update package!"
I've used HTC Mania, Thread NR 1200630 to download the stock rom for my P9 Lite, I've tried both the VNS-L21C432B151 Android 6.0 EMUI 4.1.1 Europa and the VNS-L21C432B150 Android 6.0 EMUI 4.1.1 Europa

Reboot you phone, hold volume up + power for some time to enter recover, wipe data and format factory reset.
This guide don´t work, I have tried 5 times but this update is not shown, also the Themes don´t apply after the rollback.

As I said before, when I want to install the first file (rollback package) it says, that the update failed or something like that. So I can't follow the steps.

Yes I read HIS thread...I was responding to someone else who said it DID NOT work.
I'm always a little wary, when I see someone throw up a rom, that has very few posts.
Since for work, I am 100% dependent on my phone, I can't afford to brick it, or be screwing around with something questionable.
This guide don´t work. I´m on B200 and factory reset and set the country to South Africa but the updater keep saying that there is no update.

Debranding p9 lite

How can I debrand my phone ? I mean going from C02 to C432 ?
Can anyone point out the steps needed ?
Thanks

I have L31 and I want to debrand it from C440 to C432. I did some research, but still I have some questions.
1. Unlock bootloader + TWRP + root - I found this https://forum.xda-developers.com/huawei-p9lite/how-to/guide-unlock-bootloader-twrp-root-t3405701
It's ok right ?
2. Flash oeminfo of C432 and this should be done by SRKTool and oeminfo I found there https://forum.xda-developers.com/hu...nt/europe-vns-l31-toolkit-bootloader-t3432873
3. repair firmware via dload folder - Unfortunately I don't know how to do it. In the instructions for p9, it was done also in SRKTools using "Install Recovery 6.0", but there P9Lite is not mentioned, how should I do ?
4. Install new ROM - I should install new ROM for c432, right ? It's using 3 button method ?
And that's all ?

Regarding <3. repair firmware via dload folder>, you have to download stock firmware for C432 (B130/131 or B160/161 - depends what oeminfo you flash),
unzip update.app and copied on dload folder on microsdcard. Power off and power on with 3 key combination and repair start...
At the end you have a brand new C432B1XX phone...

Indeed, you lose bootloader unlock, twrp and root (if you have).
If now I have c440B160, and I place oeminfo for c432 do i have to install c432b160 or I can install c432b131, because I only found that version
I installed TWRP and Root, and now I don't know how to change oeminfo, because in srk is only p9,not p9 lite, and I downloaded package .zip and tried to install it by TWRP but it didn't work. How should i do this ?
Ministry of solutions has a full tutorial, I used it and it worked flawlessly

Ok, thank. That worked. But now I try to update phone by using firmware finder. It finds me a lot of versions and I downloaded the newest b381 full ota, and it failed, because something was wrong in that package
What u debranded to?

Now i have c432b160, at least it sey so. I used the ministry of solutions oeminfo and rom.
Now I use firmware finder to find new versions, and it finds me a lot of them so I send b381 full ota to updater, it downloads, and then reboots, but it find verification error. How to fix it, i want to update to emui 5.0. Now I have C432B160
