[Q]L7 CM10 - Wifi issue

Hi, im facing a wifi issue on CM10 (i flashed from v10k). 3g seems to work fine, but everytime i try to connect with wifi - it just goes "enabling wifi", and nothing happens - then wifi ON/OFF switch goes to gray.
Anyone with the same issue or know how to solve it perhaps?

I notice i have same error but my rom is cyanmod last version!i have installed first, v10k with bootloader unlocked an rooted and then from cwm recovery i have reset default settings .Now i can't open wifi,only a grey buton.

I found the solution for this issue:you moust reinstal in cmw recovery baseband v10k.

are you downgraded from V20 to CM10?
maybe you should flash the baseband

I've instaled v20d when apperead,but i use this stock rom about 1-2 days.After this terrible experience i've instaled cyanmod and v10k baseband.My problem with wifi started when i've instaled v10k(Homero zip version), then cyanmod.

CM10 Wifi / 3G
Hi all,
I just flashed CM 10 to my p700 and now my wifi and 3g aren't working at all.
I tried to setup my APN several times but these settings can't be saved for some reason.
When pressing the WIFI icon it shows that it is turned on but it isnt receiving or transmitting (I can't see it in my home network.)
Next step is going back to V20D_00_m

I tried to get in CWR but somehow it doesn't work.
I will give it another try with your baseband.
First I need to get in CWR mode.

If you instaled cyanmod,you can enter in recovery.Steps are:
1.Turn off the phone
2.Keep push Home +VUPVOLDOWN(center) +Power
Phone will vibrate an CWR appears.

I tried this key combination but it didn't work.
Just flashed to V20D_00_m by KDZ
Now it doesn't get past the lg boot screen i'll fix this first.
In the end I want to run CM10 on this device.

Now It's importing my data from google even if I turn off WIFI

For Backup an restore i use Wondershare MobileGo for Android.Is a good program.I recomand you.

Password when changing the ROM.

Im trying to flash cyanogenmod but when the device boots appears a black screen that says i have to put a password. I tried all types of passwords and no one works. Can somebody help me with that?

Try to Flash stock recovery and do a factory reset (this is the last idea that i found)
If it doesnt solve your problem ,i cant help you anymore . Sorry if my knowledge is limited
People who have more knowledge than me could help you and solve your problem.

Hey..First go to Wipe then Advanced Wipe and select data then n the bottom select "Repair or change file system" .. Select one of the options..( I think FAT will work).. go back and format data.. If it didn't work.. try another one and see which one will work

I had a similar problem, when enabling Dual Sim mode. I had no password set, but I found this tool which worked:
Just use option 2 to reset pin etc.

My problem Is that i can just boot into TWRP or fastboot, i can use this tools on any of this options?

Hello i cant install TWRP i cant boot my phone i boot into fastboot mode and the installation Is succes but when i try to reboot into recovery i cant
When i use fastboot devicess it detect the phone but yo reboot with ADB reboot recovery i get no devicess/emulators found

Oxygen Os 3.5.6 (Latest Firmware Bugs)

I am having a oneplus2 phone and I updated it from 3.5.5 oxygen os to 3.5.6 it was rooted and having TWRP installed and the bootloader was unlocked but after the update the root was removed and twrp(hybrid) was also removed and when I tried to return Again by connecting it to PC then I noted that my phone was not able to connect to the PC the issue was that the notification bar was not showing any USB option and in the developer option also when I click on MTP storage for the USB option there was no sign of connection to pc the drivers are installed other oneplus 2 is connecting on same pc with same cable before the update my phone was connecting to pc and my phone not connecting to pc in fastboot mode also im not able to do any thing and I noticed one strange thing that in developer option when I change the file transfer to charging it certainly changed in one touch but when i wanted it back to file transfer it took 3 or 4 click every time i think its just showing or phone is pretending its on file tranfer mode but i think it remains on charging im just able to do all with offical recovery and phone with wifi to download and flash with official recovery nothing else plz help me i think its the issue with new update and i was having hybrid recovery and root and i installed offical update with hybrid twrp recovery plz help only offical recovery and wifi with phone flashing with offical recovery only i tried factory reset also no download mode /fastboot responding

Well what killing me in the new os update is the batery drainage like hell..any one can help to resolve this batery issue?

just one option left then you will need to root your device and install new some modified kernal from xda for your device

Some how, hydrogen OS and miui 8 port seems to give a better battery life. Also, there is no /minimal heating in miui 8 port.

I tried relocking the bootloader and messed up

Hello, so i followed the guide on here to go back to the stock rom from LOS(Lineage OS). I had done that right. Then i tried relocking the bootloader. I did that successfully. Now, i have 2 problems i have run into.
1) there is no recovery mode
i tried booting into recovery and all it does is flash the ZTE logo for a second than turn off. This keeps happening. I am not sure how to flash the recovery image since the bootloader is locked and i have no recovery mode.
2) when i boot my device, it asks for a password (a 3x3 grid).
I tried typing in the password i used for TWRP and it didn't work. I tried a bunch of old passwords but so far nothing has worked. I would like to know how to get the password and turn this off. I found this very annoying on LOS.
Please help me as i am not sure what to do!!
edit: i cannot seem to get the device to conect to the computer using adb or fastboot.
if you can can we excahnge phone numbers to fix this faster?

Have you tried returning to stock using th3 axon 7 toolkit?I literally just did this today.had to restore using edl mode and all has been restored 100% stock

Glad you got it back alive.

OP5 no IMEI, no network, no wifi

So a friend`s oneplus 5 has somehow lost signals, both imei are flushed and wifi would not even turn on. Tried flashing the stock rom tgrough adb sideload, tried fixing efs using instructions here: (https://forums.oneplus.com/threads/restoring-efs.486667/). Still no luck. Any ideas?

Followed the guide, flash was successful, but still no luck. Network and wifi are still not working, imei is absent.

Well no. The phone was not rooted, and bootloader was locked when the problem first occurred. Bootloader was unlocked while trying to fix the problem. Is there anything that can be done? or do we only have a paperweight now?

so basically i had that issue, but today while trying different things, i restarted the phone and out of nowhere the imei, wifi, baseband came back. I instantly made the backup of the efs partition and when i was done making that backup through twrp the phone rebooted and again no imei, wifi, baseband etc. I again booted into twrp and restored the backup but to my disappointment it isnt working. its an absurd behavior i know but i am just helpless here.
