Thanks for responding buddy!
Just to confirm, you have a rooted Indian Redmi 3s/Prime right? (USB Debugging should be enabled under Developer Options)
1. First, you will need to download these two things (if you don't already have them):
Qualcomm Driver
QPST
3. Extract both the archives and Install QPST.
4. Connect phone to computer via USB and enter diagnostic mode to use QPST
There are two ways to do this.
If you have ADB installed on your computer:
In CMD, enter the following commands:
Code:
[LIST][*]adb shell[*]su[*]setprop sys.usb.config diag,adb[/LIST]
If you don't have ADB installed, download and install Terminal Emulator from play store. Run Terminal Emulator and enter the following commands. Give it superuser permissions whenever prompted.
Code:
[LIST][*]su[*]setprop sys.usb.config diag,adb[/LIST]
As soon as you run the setprop sys.usb.config diag, adb command, the computer will detect New Hardware. Point it to the Qualcomm Driver you had previously extracted and install it (qcser.inf). You should now see Qualcomm HS-USB Android DIAG 901D (COMxx) under Ports (COM & LPT) in Device Manager.
5. Run the QPST and Select the Ports Tab. You should see the port added automatically. If you don't see any port click the Add New Port button.
6. Click Start Clients in the menu bar and select Software Download.
7. It will open a new window called QPST Software Download. Click the Backup tab. Click the Browse button, select a save location, set Save as type as *.qcn. Click the Start button.
8. Done !

Please do a full backup of the bootloader! So we all can fix our device..!
The procedure is easy and you just take about 8 minutes..
You have to download this tool (for windows)
http://www.roadkil.net/program.php?ProgramID=12
1- Download the tool "Roadkil's Disk Image"
2- Enter to pink screen (volume up and down, then power on)
3- Connect your phone to the computer through the backside usb port (its more safe)
4- Run the tool
5- Click on the "Store Image" tab.
6- In "Store Image to" click the combobox and choose "Physical Disk #" ("#" is a number)
* If there are more than one "Physical Disk #", then you have to choose the one that is about 3.6gb.. This part is very important.. if you give us a backup from another disk, it will leave our phone unusable.
*To be sure that that Physical Disk you choose is the Huawei u8800-51, You can run the tool again (because it has to refresh) without the phone connected, then check which disks are available. Then, close the tool again, connect the device (in pink screen), run the tool, and check what physical disk was added. But it will be about 3.6gb.
7- In "source file", save the file as "u8800.img" in a folder with more than 4gb of storage available.
*There is no risk for you, as it is just data copying, not writting. The risk is for us if you gave us a wrong file hehe..
*If you compress the "u8800.img" file into a "rar" file, the size will be about 700 mb, then please, upload the file into mediafire or some file hosting service.
Thanks man! It will be very useful to many people!
----
*For the ones who do the restore from the file, they have to do something to get the "u8800.img" to work. I will post here what do they have to do before writing to the disk, so Don't restore until I explain it here, or it wont work! and you may have errors!
im about to do it now and sorry im late i never got a chance to do it.
Its not letting me run the program.

Ok I will post the tutorial later.. But about the 3g.. It is working, but you have to do factory reset after you restore from the linux backup..
Also, you will have the IMEI of the person who did the backup.. I tried to restore mine and I did it, but when I restored it, the 3g stopped working.. But in "about" it showed me my imei.. My IMEI backup was made when I already updated to u8800pro..
Maybe the files that this tool (5iromtoolbox) backup are the key for having 3g in the u8800pro rom.. (also with the libril-qc-1).. I dont know.. we should test it later..
Remember.. keep the original IMEI (not yours) and you will have 3g or H+.. whathever--
Advices:
- Do the full backup in Linux
- Backup IMEI (5iromtoolbox)
- Backup CWM
- Backup APN

So i've flashed OptimusRs's rom yesterday and i made a mistake by not flashing it with the costume recovery he gave on his theard.
now I'm able to get into my phone but i have no signal from my network operator at all.
i tried to flash a kdz via download mode and it won't work it says in the LGM support tools that my phone has the latest version and won't let me upgrade it.
i can't flash to another ROM because there's no costume rec for KK just yet.

4.Now connect your phone, make sure usb debug on and connect into mtp, open adb and type this

Click to collapse
5.Now turn off usb debug ,disconnect your phone, wait for about 10s and connect to pc again
6. Now you will see your pc will be install driver for debug sony mode. Just wait until it say cant install driver. Now you use "Have disk" method to install htcdiagdriver (There are several devices like "C6902", just watch hardware ids of them and choose "MI_04"and install driver.)
7. After install driver, open QPST -> QPST Configuration using start menu button (Must do, otherwise you will stuck, IDK why this but just do that)
8. After open QPST Con, switch to Ports tab, press Add new port, untick "Show Serial and USB......." and press OK
9.Now in port tab you will see COMx port that show MSM8974:victory::victory:
10.Open QPST install directory -> bin-> RV_NV_Manager.exe
11. After open that, click setting -> Comport. Choose your phone COM port
12. Now press file-> Read from phone. It will load slowly, be calm now:angel::angel:
13. After it load done, scroll to 1877 section, click on that. Paste the decimal number here and I will continue the guide
Pls backup nandroid first and prepare full ftf incase it wont start again

No need to save the QCN, because that remove some of the QCN package, so you only have to click on "Write NV". Rewrite the QCN package, and do as I tell you, if you can't repair your device, send me a message and I'll help via TeamViewer. Greetings.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Now I have my IMEI and my SIM just works fine. But I have a problem, to connect to a mobile networks the phone takes more than one minute, and I have to search the networks by myself.
EDIT: I noticed that 3G works (connected in 40/50 seconds, I think it's a bit slow) but the phone can't connect to 2G, with LTE didn't tried becouse at home I don't have it.
Received an invalid command from the phone.
what can i do after i press start it gives me this error " Received an invalid command from the phone.
"

Thanks for the info. Yesterday, I hooked the Phone up to my PC and installed the USB Driver, but strangely it is only recognized as an ADB Device if I select "ADB sideload" from the Recovery. But in Bootloader/Download Mode it does not show up if I enter "ADB Devices". All my other devices work fine with ADB, though. Had a look at the device manager and everything looks fine. I don't know how to fix this.

I guess you need to unlock something under developer settings . You know what I mean
OEM unlock is enabled, as well as USB Debugging.

Keep connected to the pc and please restart your mobile.
Also try to force start it. I'm not understanding why you can't sideload adb? Could be that it's not rooted?
ADB works in Sideload, but not in Download Mode. In Device Manger another Android Device pops up after entering download mode. I dont have a Driver for that. Hmmm. Where can I find it?

There are certain adb drivers that can be installed manually. The name usually supplied in/with the same folder. If you don't find send me your email address I think I have them somewhere

if the device were not rooted, then , you can only backup the installed stuff. cannot backup system data except rooted.

Sounds logical. My idea behind my statement was, as "everything" is same on both TA-1000 & TA-1003 (except Google related restrictions on ta-1000), I was thinking just to replace "all" data on TA-1000. I don't know if the internal memory on mobile is able to notice anything??
With your statement I'm just thinking, what happens if I get some system "backup" file from ta-1003, and restore it on ta-1000?? Sounds stupid??
